My husband passed Memory Day 2020. Vietnam veteran, died from dementia. We watched the Indy 500 for 20 years. My husband and I always wanted Helo Castroneves to win. This year he won again, 4 time winner! When he did win, i got very emotional. Broke down crying . Told my deceased husband " Castroneves won again ". Thank you, Helo.
@@jeaninewilliams8730 I was there and was beyond emotional too. Helio is an excellent driver and person. Sure your husband had a front row seat and was cheering him on.
Definitely the most wild racing crowd I’ve ever had the pleasure of being in. This was my first IndyCar race I only had ever been to NASCAR races and NASCAR crowds don’t go anywhere near as crazy as the fans at Indy did
@@chowchow3335 he is. I hope he gets it, but if he doesn't, no team will deny him another run at the indy 500, especially the midcards and smaller ones. He is their best shot at epicness
Man, I forgot how odd that was to have no activity in the infield. There was definitely plenty of activity in there this year, though! Our seats are almost right in front of you but rows 1 & 2. Thanks for the memory of the crazy '21 race from essentially the same vantage point!
Great camera work, audio of the crowd, and especially catching them snake down the front straight (just before "Gimme one! Gimme one!") behind Palou. Thanks for sharing, I've watched it many times. For me, seeing them come through turn 3 into turn 4 gives the best sensation of their speed.
What great fun to be in the stands with all of these great Indy 500 fans. I love that everybody's so into it and cheering for the newest "4 time Indianapolis 500 champion!!!"
Its inexcusable that the start of pit wall is still located there. With the way the drivers continue to block to the inside, one of these years someone is going to plow full speed into it and die. Pit wall should be extended back to turn 4, and drivers should have to enter the service road on the backstretch in order to enter the pits
Hello , this is my first time going there and I don't have it clear the rows how are numeric ,I can see you are in row J , what section are you at? I want to buy it in North section . thank you
@@junish6276 you said “it’s the lamest Motorsport on Earth sooo damn boring” So as opposed to what? Another motorsport that barley has any passing? What makes this Motorsport so damn boring?
@@junish6276 gotcha.. yeah it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Some Motorsports are like that. Others are brutally even more boring. They’re nothing but fast then slow, fast then slow, fast then slow, then a car takes like 10 laps to try and pass another car and if he doesn’t make it, it takes another 10 laps for another shot and you just cross your fingers that something happens just to have a little excitement. And then to make things even worse the same two or three guys win almost all the races. But thank god those are only like 200 mile races. Could you imagine something that mind numbly boring for 500 miles? That would be comatose worthy. So I feel ya, not all racing series are for everyone.

That's a bittersweet story, Jeanine, thanks for sharing. I bet your husband was cheering from above. :) Stay strong, healthy, and full of love!
My husband in heaven climbed the fence.😇
Thank you for your comment. When our favorite guy, Helo won, I broke out in goosebumps, & cried happy tears, as I know my husband was watching too.😇

Damn, when Palou swerved at that ridiculous speed one could easily shit their pants.
Yea, they were very close to pit entry
Sounded like a lot of people in the crowd thought he was driving into the end of pit wall and actually I can certainly understand thinking that
I would definitely shit my pants

My favorite sports memory and experience ever. I was there when Unser Sr and Mears got their 4th but Helio's was the best for me by far.
Senna, Fittipaldi, Piquet and Castroneves... 🇧🇷
Congratulations on winning the race Helo Castroneves!
Those stands were packed!
Wow, nice video! Thanks for posting!!!
Thank you for sharing
No clue why this popped up in my feed but this was my first Indy 500 and I was in J stand too! Can’t wait to go back
Emocionante 👏🇧🇷
Com certeza, eu já perdi a conta de quantas vezes eu vi esse final de corrida espetacular, sem falar que assisti toda a corrida ao vivo.
That was a wicked battle. Glad to see Helio win his 4th.
Incrível como o povo Americano torce pro Hélio!!!!!!
Pois é, o que é reconhecido lá, não é reconhecido aqui infelizmente.
That’s amazing!
Trust me, the cheering was much louder in turn 2.
Formula 1 da sono um atrás do outro quem sai 1⁰ ganha,
Indy é espetáculo
AMAZING!
Amazing video. Helio is a legend.
Casteoneves rocks 🎸 🎸 🎸
O foda é todo mundo torcendo para o Hélio castroneves
This was my first 500 in person. It was fun besides the sun burn.
NBC needs to put a camera there and show the fans excitement.
I was sitting in that section last year lol
We were off turn 4 the entire covered stand roaring for Helio ^_^
Hélio CastroNeves 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷💪💪💪💪
Rock steady video.
What row where you in? These seats are amazing!
As great as this video is the truth is it doesn’t do the roar of the crowd justice
It was an amazing moment and the crowd was bonkers

As a fan of motor sports I love when I see females cheering and clapping.
Great to see!
How much did the ticket for those seats cost?
I think it was around $100, but it was back in 2021
Do you think helio can be a 5 time winner?
He totally can, but probably not this year, I think one of the genassi cars will win this year
I still like the audaban more
Don't you need knockers?
