Thank you very much for posting this video. Both rear axle bearings on my easy go golf cart or bad and the dealer quoted $675. After watching this I don’t think I’ll have any problem doing it myself. I found the bearings with seals and rings on Amazon.

I get that all the time, we are about the same shape and all, but I am way taller. Lol I consider it a compliment.

Do you have a part number for the bearings and seals? My Buggy is a 2008 Classic.

I do not as this is my pops buggy and he bought the parts. I will see if he still has the notes on it.

Quick question, after getting the new bearing on axle, does bearing spin jerky, mine is not smooth after installing, not sure if these aren’t the right bearings or if it’s normal for them to feel jerky and not spin smoothly?

Did you grease up that bearing before install?

WD40 is not a lubricant and is actually horrible for bearings.

I didn’t really lubricate the bearings with wd40, but I did use it to get them to slide on more easily. But at the end of the day, hammering the bearings on, is probably the bigger sin. Its a Bad boy buggy, its not fast, even for a golf cart and my dad runs in in mud and water, so those bearing are not the last ones we will put on. You are correct that wd40 is not good for bearing, it does still help them slide, especially when I didn’t have any silicon at the shop. Thanks for watching Rank Amateur Garage!

How to golf cart bearings (front)

Sorry to not be of help on that, I haven’t messed with the front bearings. On the Bad Boy they would be different as it has a solid front axle and 4wd.
