I rediscovered the 1978 album last year and it captivated me immediately. I went and bought a copy of the novel as well, it's definitely up there as one of the greatest science fiction tales of all time, at least for me. I'm really hoping to be able to get to see TWOTW live next year.

Probably the best music album of all time , performed by some of the most unique vocals by various artists, narrated by a super rich actor. It’s timeless it’s unique and most of all truly amazing, .
Congratulations on this stunning masterpiece! I remember being captivated by hearing Forever Autumn on the radio. I soon picked up the album and have long since worn it out (but that’s ok, I have the CD!). The music, songs, and dialogue are perfectly woven. The fact that a book inspired this is wonderful! My daughter and I are both teachers so books are an integral part of our lives. My very best wishes for a successful 2025 tour and my heartfelt gratitude for your dedication to storytelling! 📚🎼💙
We did this in music class at my high school back in the 80's.
Jeff i 1994 i did a 6 week teaching practice and the literacy, numeracy, drama, gum etc were all related to uour work.
I finally got to see you in Scotland on 30th November 2019 in Glasgow's SECC..i was in pure awe of you and the production...i was like a child. It was incredible. Although David Essex wasnt there it was still packed with the best stars and talent for the production. I finally got to see uou! The man behind the music i commited my lessons to for my career, and passed with As. 30 years later i still love your work . Every time i pass a Little "red brick house" im reminded of it. THANK YOU! ❤

As soon as you uploaded this I booked 2 of your Premium tickets, I can't wait to see this show & get to meet you. Got quite emotional when I found out by accident that you were touring again of which I didn't think you were, I recall how terrified the original vinyl of my grandads made me which was given to my dad & I now have both versions of it on CD (Special Edition obviously) 😅 I'm counting down the day's/month's 😊 🎉
Wow! What a wonderful surprise to see this, Jeff ( if I may be so bold). H.G.Wells is my favorite author and the Time Machine has been my favorite book it seems like forever. I've watched every possible RUclips video on your War of the Worlds, purchased the bluray and watched that as an annual event and owned the original album (with all that wonderful artwork) waaaaaay back in the 70s. I envy all those lucky Brits who have the opportunity to experience your Live shows next year. On behalf of all us Yanks across 'the Pond'; "You lucky devils!" Keep on making the World a better place.

I still put on the record and sing along now and then 🤭💗 It's a classic!! Forever Autumn is such a beautiful song, and track after track is a joy: It's such a perfect atmosoheric setting for the story... My favourite version by far!

No no no!! Your not doing the Minack Theatre in Cornwall.... I missed it last time.... I've been a stage manager there and it's an epic venue! Apparently they had 3 legged Martians over the sea in the back ground!! You have to take it back!!
Thank you for making this. It's my favorite concept album, and I only discovered it four years ago. It's a stretch, but I wish you could come perform in Japan~ I may never get to see it live, and that's really sad to me.
@TayoEXE - There are several DVD versions of different productions of the show available on ebay. If we can't get to the U.K. , it's the next best thing. Unless some Movie chain, starving for Product, gets creative and puts it on as a Special Fathom Events feature. IMAX screens... Yes! Are you listening Team JWWotW?

I saw the show at Glasgow, it was screaming loud, with terrible echo and Jason Donovan definitely can't sing!
