Ordinary has a 100% Niacinamide powder and I mix this with their 2% Hyaluronic Acid + B5. Cost is around $20 to $30 for both depending on what size of Hyaluronic Acid you choose. Best thing is you can customize the solution for yourself. I have done it this way for years I have also mix the powder with their Argireline Solution.
I have a question for your Dr. Locke. I switched from Three Ships Skin Hero (Bakuchol) to Avene RetinAL .1 Intensive (retinaldehyde), but I am not seeing much improvement over the last few months on my fine lines or dark spots. I am using it only at night, every night. I am wondering if I should switch to Paula's Choice Retinol and Bakuchol or is this a weaker retinoid than the Avene? Please advise! Love your channel and your research on all these skin care products!
Bought the Hyaluron B3 love it but the link below listed was for the Avene Hydrance BOOST Concentrated Hydrating Serum not the Hyaluron Activ B3. Concentrated Plumping Serum
I appreciate your review of this skin plumper as I'm searching for a new one. I have been using Revision Revox Line Relaxer, which I've been pleased with, but the dispenser is apparently defective across the board, so I won't be paying that hefty price for another defective canister. I look forward to your post-review on this Avene product. I have to ask...As a dermatologist, is there a reason you don't use tretinoin? I've been using 0.05% nightly for 30 years. Love it!
What do you think of the olay super serum? It supposedly has five main ingredients (niacinamide, a vit c derivative, lactic acid, vit e, and a collagen peptide). There's a day and night version (with the night being fragrance free).
I just received my seasonal Olay box from them(work related). So far I think it's way overpriced and imo drugstore skincare is getting way out of hand on their prices. I left high end beauty and am now a bc at more affordable store. Prices are absolutely ridiculous for Olay and others I sell.
Could you please address the topic of skincare for pre-teens? I would like to start my 10 year old on a good safe regimen of cleaning etc. I value your recommendations and hope that you can give advice. Thank you!!!
I am obviously not the doctor but wanted to chime in about Curology. Your child is probably too young for breakouts so you don't need to go the prescription route but Curology sells their cleanser and moisturizer at Target. They're affordable and gentle.
For some reason in Canada,thé Avene RetrinAL line is not sold at the drugstore. Why would that be? I have asked for it, simply told not for sale in Canada
Please convey IF you are sponsored by Avene or if the video is sponsored. You speak a lot about this brand, that in most peoples opinion is NOT a “budget friendly” brand. Their Retinal is §$78, sunscreen $40, hylaronic acid $40… etc.
This one is heavily fragranced. I couldn’t stand the fragrance. I prefer Hyaluron Activ B3 - fewer ingredients and no fragrance. And it has niacinamide.
Just watched a "short" by another derm as she reviewed a 10% niacinamide product. She stated that 10% is too high and will cause inflammation. Better to stay at 5%.
I am using this serum at night together with Avene night cream (retinal ) and I am satisfied. Avene is my favourite brand.
I'm in Canada and this product is $70 at the drugstore. I'm so appalled about the price. Not buying it.
Me too. Hardly budget!
I agree. Based on other products available, I can't rationalize buying this.
It’s $39 in the US but I paid $29 on sale. It is worth $29 IMO
Neutrogena has a similar product called Hydro Boost+ Niacinamide serum

Will be ordering this from my favorite skin care 👍
Avene has the Active Vitamin Cg serum. It contains a vitamin C derivative (ascorbyl glucoside), niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and .... bacuchiol! 😊
What about three ships?! The bakuchiol kick you were on?! I bought the three ships and love it!!!

Is there any video about your hair shampoo? It looks so good!

Would it be okay to apply this product with a vitamin C serum? Which serum would you apply first? 🙂
Yeah I would like to know also
Thank you for the video. Avene does not deliver to Canada. If there is any other website/place to buy please suggest ....

Can you use bakuchiol oil and Tretinoin together? Is there anything I need to avoid using this oil with?
Please please please do a pregnancy skin care routine! 🤞🏻❤️
Is the citric acid in this okay for papulopustular rosacea skin type?
I think I will get this one next time once I finish my Neutrogena niacinamide and HA
Yes, out of stock!!! Please keep us informed when it is available AND discount code.
ULTA has it
This serum is $64 here in Australia.
love the review
For me, this formula makes more sense to use it in the morning so you can get HA plumping benefit
Out of stock.😕😫 Thanks for the heads up on this product! Hopefully, I'll be able to purchase it next time it's on sale! 😊
ULTA has it just bought a bottle today at my local store
@@cherylreitz4779 Thank you!
@@PH-pn2yu your welcome and I used it last night and my skin was so soft and smooth. It was $40 but will see how it goes.

I found the same thing, but on some research, the equivalent in Canada is called Night Peel Cream. It’s the Canadian equivalent to the retrinol 0.1%
@@ToryArcher thanks, much appreciated
Avene l’a retiré. C’était mon retinol aussi, je l’ai acheté souvent. Les pharmacies le tiennent plus depuis plusieurs mois.

👍
I read 18 ingredients not 9 🤔

L’Oréal has a new niacinamide product in their “Bright Reveal” line. It says it has 12% niacinamide and other actives.
I received it free from my work. Havent tried it yet but Im looking forward to seeing if its worth the price point.
Just watched a "short" by another derm as she reviewed a 10% niacinamide product. She stated that 10% is too high and will cause inflammation. Better to stay at 5%.
Well I pass... So simple and cheap ingredients
You can find the same ingredients at a more affordable price.
@@michelletidler6773 that's correct. Overpriced and overused ingredients.
This is definitely NOT a "budget" product.
So disappointed that it has fragrances, what a waste.
