It is a difficult time for me. I'm still grieving my SUPERMAN, Carmelo. I knew he was tough. He wanted to do so many things: touring, family reunion etc. Thank you Mr. Nashville for giving him a platform to tell his story. I miss him terribly. But I have this strange PEACE in my heart. He's not in anymore pain, physical restraint, etc. I remember years ago when Jan Crouch of TBN interviewed Carman, and she called him "" SPECIAL" . She was so right. I will do my part of keeping his dreams alive and share the Gospel of Jesus, and Carmelo's music I will share with everyone I meet. He'd want us to do that. Carmelo fits the scripture...he that winner souls is wise. You will forever be in our hearts Carmelo. Sleep on and take your rest.🎈💝😭😅🐱⛪🗽🌅🎈
I had the privilage of meeting CARMAN in person on June 21, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. Then a year later, he came to my home church Abundant Grace Community Church do a concert on June 13, 2015. I became a Bible believing Christian through his song Witch's Invitation.
That's amazing. He had a huge impact on my life and I was also in witchcraft God used him so tremendously to trek the spiritual realm truth.
He is singing to Jesus in heaven to our Creator!

I just can't believe how much his death has effected me!!! I'm just so sad, sad for me, sad for the other fans, sad for his wife Dana. Such a anointing he had. I've been a fan for years and have so many records and cassettes!! I know he is with the one he loves so much! Jesus!!!
Bring his work back to us. We need to receive what he has done for us. I will support it. The church need it. The world can use it.

What a blessing this interview was. Carman was legendary and was gifted. Rest with the Lord.
I loved Carman. The first time I saw him was in Portland, Oregon. He was doing his debut with the Gathers. I loved the whole thing. I have been a fan through out. I took my boys to see him many times when he was in our area. I have all his CD's.
Our church did do plays and we did one that was called Lazarus Come Forth. We had our players do other parts in this play. But we had built a tomb and the stone and we played Carman singing Lazarus it was crazy. Everyone stood up and praised the Lord. My sons are ages 49, 45, and 40. They all love Carman and they love how he spoke life in every song he sang, because he was anointed with the spirit of our God. My husband and I get Jesus bumps every time we hear Lazarus and The Champion.
I cried many tears hearing Carman had arrived and had left this world. He is singing unto our Lord, face to face. How exciting that must be! Love you Carman ❤️ miss you so much. But we will get to sing with you together in heaven. Love and miss you brother till we meet again.

Listening to Carman talk in interviews, he seemed like the easiest and humblest person to talk to. Even in this interview when you can see how he was struggling with his physical problems, he puts on his best and appears so natural. But now he's rejoicing with his Lord - RIP Carman.

His impact in music far superceded artists of today. He certainly wasn't trying to be popular but effective and he truly was, he was so humble and real.. I still prefer his music today than much of the current stuff because his music was gospel truth and so it covers generations, times,styles and genres. Carman was the real deal... Accolades obviously didn't matter to him and what Christ has in store for him in heaven makes everything here like trash! Safe in the arms of Jesus is where our Brother is and that's the best place to be❤️

Amen! These were true words of wisdom being called to be effective and not popular. It really showed in his attitude, even though it took so long for him to be recognised officially, he kept on doing the work of an evangelist. RIP Carman and look forward to meeting you in heaven one day.

Aww, God bless you Carman, my brother went through the same thing with the Multiple Myeloma Cancer, he lived 5 yrs after diagnosed. It attacked in his back first☹️I met you twice Carman & had my picture taken with you at our church. You were a true servant of God 💖You saved many souls through your my music ministry. God says you you: “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”🙋♀️

Hi, Mr. Nashville, Larry. I remember vividly when Carman was really "big". I was in my teens & 20s. I thought that he was bold & genuine. I remember loving his unique style. I'm thrilled to know that God has sustained him thru these significant trials!

I have loved this beautiful man, his music and spirit and love for the Lord for many years. Listening to his words here confirms he maintained his humility and kept focused on his goal for souls! It's hard to know he's gone. But how glorious for him!
This wonderful Legend is now in the presence of Jesus Christ--- way too soon!!! In the 90's, I was blessed to be able to attend many of his awesome concerts. Just loved his music and spark! What an inspiration he has been to me throughout the years. I am stronger in Jesus because of his definite influence . . .He will certainly be missed!
Carman was so unique that no one understood him. And to think about offering gigs to kids for FREE. No telling the obstacles - what a reward he’s gotten! He was way far ahead of his time, just like he said about Netflix.
His video “America Again” was 90s I think and look how relevant it is today!

God sent Carmen supernaturally through my TV screen that's exact same time he was going through cancer I got the news I had stage 4 cancer and I am still in remission praise the Lord what a beautiful beautiful spirit still listening to you Carmen you get me through everyday with your testimony and your love for Jesus God bless you in heaven I know you're with the angels in the army of God
Glad to see this interview. Carman is in Heaven now, restored to perfect health. WE WILL ALL DIE, have you thought of where you will go? There is only Heaven or Hell. God wants you to chose him by praying, "God, Jesus, Please come into my heart and my life. Please forgive me from my sins because I am a sinner and I have sinned. I am sorry. Thank you." And you need to believe that Jesus died on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins and that he rose again from the dead and he is alive today. AND IF YOU REALLY MEAN THIS PRAYER, you will be saved and you will go to Heaven when you die. I prayed this 6 years ago when I hit rock bottom in life and GOD IS REAL ! He heard me and immediately answered my prayer. Miracle changes happened to me that I a still excited about six years later. My life has been a million times better ever since. I was healed of anger and suicidal tendencies in an instant. Many more changes happened. I hope you will chose to ask the Lord Jesus for help and "salvation." from Vanessa
I Don ‘t think he is resting. He is in the presence of Jesus. We don’t need rest we are more alive then ever. My 24 year-old son is there and I think of him hanging out Isaac, Abraham, Peter and Paul. How wonderful!

Carman didn't know he was paving the way for christian artists today both theatrically and musically . I was so sad to hear of his passing. my daughter who is in college texted me while I was at work . She and her brother remember hearing his music growing up. i have listened to carman since I was 8 yrs old.

Update on Carmen please!! It’s 1:38 am on 11-23-20 and I can’t sleep. I’m reliving the 90’s in my mind and had to look Carmen up and see how he’s doing! I’ve been to at least two maybe three concerts and am a HUGE fan! I prayed every day for weeks leading up to your concerts when I was a kid hoping and praying I could meet you! Low and behold my older sister won the denim jacket giveaway for The Standard tour. I think it was in Peoria Illinois or Chicago. It always amazed me out of so many thousands someone in my family won. I tried not to be jealous and instead honored that my sister won. I would always try to borrow it and got in so much trouble every time I tried (and failed) to lol I wish I could take my kids to see you in concert today...but more than anything I hope and pray you have a full recovery and are safe and doing well in this crazy year of 2020. Carman is an absolute joy, Ive got all his songs, Ive been to a few of his concerts, It just makes me sad that he gave his all, but trust me if he wasn't seen by the media he was seen by the biggest and badest audience in heaven, It makes me sad that my kids and even though they grew up with him, just don't get it, Im concerned for some of my kids and for some of my grandkids, we have such a short time to go, please pray for them to come to the Lord, see ya in Heaven

i remember in the 80s when he came to birmingham alabama it was my first concert ever and ive never went to any concert before or even after that...it was so awesome and now looking back i really wished i went more to his concerts....my uncle was real good friends with the one who got him to come there.....he really blessed me and the reason i wanted to be a singer....wish i could meet him god bless you carman
