I was saved in 1993 at 17. The first two Christian music CD's I ever bought were DC Talk's Jesus Freak and Carmen's The Standard. I remember taking my younger sister to see him in concert in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful show. I used to listen to his music all the time. While his absence from us is a sorrow, we can rejoice in knowing those of us who are saved will join him some day in Heaven forever praising and worshiping our God.

A young kid in Africa, My dad introduced me to Carman in the 90's. I was instantly hooked to his stories, story telling, music, passion and message. God bless you Carman.

I just learned a few days ago that he passed away. I was devastated because he was a HUGE part of my childhood and teenage years
Saw him in a concert of 20 people at praise gathering, in no time I saw him in stadiums filling every seat. My honor to shake his hand. He is performing in heaven for the angels now. I will see him in concert again soon.

Their latest attempt is to claim that we need to settle for the lesser of two evils in order to be relevant. There is no faith in God anymore. Now it is just faith in Trump and his administration. They do not seem to realize that their spiritual power has nothing at all to do with who's in office, and everything to do with trusting solely on God and waging spiritual warfare against spiritual forces of the enemy.

Being a Christian means more than going to a building called a Church, as the body of Christ, WE ARE THE CHURCH. It's so sad to watch these videos knowing that WE lost this beautiful, faithful awesomely talented MAN. But Carman met his Friend and Redeemer, Jesus and he is happier now than we are.

Mine was the other way around. I think my mom bought us the VHS with the music videos on it. I'm not sure if that's before we saw him in concert or after.

Carman was a fantastic Christian entertainer with a vivid imagination for opening up God's Word to people of all ages. I had the honor of meeting him before a concert in Indianapolis in 1996. I still have my Addicted to Jesus tour jacket I bought in Atlanta. I wear it proudly. Carman's legacy will be remembered throughout the generations. His love of God and saving souls will always be a tribute to his love for God. A huge celebration is going on in heaven for Carman's homecoming. I'd love to be in that place of praise, worship and glory to see it. One day, my friend, thanks to you for enriching our lives.
Had no clue he had passed. He inspired me with his boldness when I was a young believer in the 1990's. He is sorely missed, but to die in Christ is to be promoted! Think on that! Blessed assurance.

I remember many of the Christian Bands and singers. And great words songs. And Carmen. His songs were great and truth in a song how cool to show his talent. And I didn't know he had passed away. Not sure if the media tells us about Christian singers. I think preachers thay tell us or certain ones that stand out for years. Sad very sad to,learn he passed away here on earth. But the good news is we will see him again in the lords timeing. God and all he has made is amazeing. Truth sets the mind free man keeps us in the dark. And we live in a spirital realm which is all around us all over. When I think of how many angeles it reminds me of corn stalks in a open corn feild of. Gods angeles but also 1/3 of the falling ones as well. God and his angels and every human before thay pass away has a angel or 2 or 3 depends on there assignment. But how cool is that. So that's how many angeles are around us. There is a angel for all things. And Carmen I'm sure had more than one angel by his side the whole time here on earth. No man not one can become as God. No man can get in heaven only in spirit and truth. Born again. And its all about in spirit. Carmen is right on. God gifted him with great talent. A bible story teller with true facts from bible. He is gone from here. But we will see him again. To live is to die. And to die is to live. Dead man walking.
We as the Body of Christ need to use our spiritual weapons at our disposal. We have spiritual armor to use. The Word of God cuts more sharply than any two edge sword. Let us be bold in the name of Jesus! Let us put on the full armor of God! Let us tear Satan's kingdom to shreds! Can i get an amen!

Sad to hear about his death. I bought his Mission 3:16 cd just last week at the thrift store. Do love the little movie in the music video. One thing I thought when watching was: when hay fell off of my teacher it just meant that Dad was feeding the horses before he left for work.(My dad was my teacher in 3rd grade and Mom homeschooled me afterwards).

His productions were top notch mini films for its time and very entertaining. He did some great acting also. Except for the rap and other commercial releases I was hooked to most of his amazing music in the 90s. He was a tour de force and one of CCM's biggest artists, and he also gave free concerts. RIP

Carman was a fighter! He knew there were things that just had to be fought and with God's strength, he spiritually did. In this video he's like the Mel Gibson of Christian music! Why does this not have more views?! The saints need power and authority to fight the evil! I hope they're getting it somewhere! Or they gonna be real beat up. I speak from experience.

I remember, years ago, when CARMAN came to Roberts Stadium. I told the McDonald's when He was coming back then. But, the Manager forgot. There were only three workers On that Night of his Concert. When the cars and Church Vans and Church buses started pulling in, the grill Cook just started throwing hamburger 🍔 patties onto the grill. They worked for their money that night. I tried to give them "a head's up".
