As a teenager and part of a church youth group, Carmen certainly impacted us in 1986 and 1987. We couldn't get enough of him and used his music to reach to other teenagers and present the Gospel. We loved him and thank him for his ministry. God bless brother!

Carman is the reason that I am in Christian music today. My best blessing was the souls that were saved during his concerts. Now that is a legacy.

Carman was one of the very few musicians that David Wilkerson gave his personal seal of approval. Look up David Wilkerson, and you'll know what his opinion and praise were worth.

I saw Carmen at the Burbank Equestrian Center with several other Christian singers, but Carmen was the headliner for the whole event. It was so much fun to go and see him. I would have loved to have met him. I’m still alive by the grace of God because I’ve survived a stroke, sepsis and so far cancer. In June it will be 5 years cancer free. But every day that you wake up too is a gift from God. Thank him for every new day that you wake up too.

"Shine Through Me" has to be the most impactful song of Carman for me. I love all his music but that one touched my soul deeply. Many times over the years I would dream that song & wake up crying as I felt God's Presence on me. I will never forget you Carman. Thank you man

I knew very few of his highly dramatic songs not until his death that I've listened to his many other worship and evangelistic songs. "Be the light of Jesus to the world" has stuck in my mind. A truly great soul who gave it all for the gospel.

Thank you for sharing this story. Having worked with him personally from 1980-2000, I can tell you that he was a visionary and trendsetter in so many ways. We did over 1000 concerts together, including Texas Stadium and every one of them saw many people give their lives to Jesus. It was a time I will never forget! RIP Carman, I'll see you later!

Carman was my first favorite christian artist that I had seen on TBN in the early 90's since I was 5 years old. His music was very intresting and addictive. One of my favorites was, Addicted 2 Jesus, Our Turn Now, Serve The Lord, and so many more to name a few. Carman was one of a kind and a genius. I will truly miss him.

" Its Time To Praise The Lord". And "THE CHAMPION" Each song he did seemed better than the last, ergo, this was, in my mind, one of the 2- best songs. I Am Sure, that's what He's doing now, in heaven. It will be Interesting, in Heaven, to come, Carman AND Kirk Franklin, TOGETHER!, In Some Decades, From Now.... Whoo-Eee!
I am Looking Forward to Seeing THAT SHOW !
