This masterpiece drives me into the deepest depression, and only due to the next "hilarious" track of the album I can come back to real life. Awesome and absorbing! One of my favourites.

some may take the shit at me for this but i lean way much more towards his cheesy and experimental writings such as this and ghost and oceans of great thacks rather than his brutal metal.

Very seldom can I understand Devins vocals. I don't know if it's the way he sings or just that the vocals are so mixed it's hard to understand. Not a criticism, because he's my favorite artist out there, just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.
It's not all your fault. Usually when you learn the lyrics you wonder why you didn't hear it before. It's blended really well. However, really good studio headphones make his heavily layered stuff really separate and make even more sense.

His lyrics are somewhat hard to understand, mostly because of the somewhat archaic nature of his words and the things he sings about, oh yeah and he's Canadian, lol. Genius can be like that though which he is. He's an enigma a dreamer and a doer as well in this predictable bland ass world of the petty, mindless and scripted. Such a good clown;) glorious mocker of mockers, fool of fools, killer of kings, bringer of light opener of minds, my hero, the anti hero. H3¥0k^
