    I’ve been using this fork for treating post stroke numbness in affected extremities and I’ve been having really cool results in my music therapy health services practice in tertiary Neuro rehab - patients have reported within a 15-20 minute treatment the return of sensation in the last remaining numb areas on forearms, lower legs hands and feet - apparently it feels like when your appendage has fallen asleep and it’s waking up with a prickling tingle - in over half of the treatments the sensation stays

      @andreacurry8807 WOW! This is outstanding. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing this clinical evidence from your practice. It is so invaluable when us practitioners share our results because it inspires new ideas for how to use these tools (i.e. tuning forks) and what is truly possible in terms of helping people to heal. I absolutely love hearing this and am so grateful for you taking the time to leave this comment. Thanks so much and have an amazing day!

    My acupuncturist has been using tuning forks on my spine, hips and legs to alleviate pain along with needles and it feels wonderful. I recently had pain in my leg for two weeks and this was the only thing that helped relieve my pain.

    This was FABULOUS. Because of your mention of tuning forks in your nitric oxide video, I got three forks and my life has changed. As if now, I also have 5 other friends actively using g forks and one is getting certified! We all love them. I plan to get another 7 or more involved. It’s just such an easy decision.
    This session was marvelous. It was interesting to see the different reactions on my head. For me, I’m thrilled with the benefit of feeling greatly relaxed to the point of sleepiness, so I’ll save this routine for bedtime.
    Performing a sound bath with the non weighted 335 g and 236 c on my head and face, leaves my parasympathetic relaxed but my brain woken up! It’s awesome. It’s like drinking a cup of coffee to wake up but much quicker and without the caffeine.
    I’ve used the Otto 128 on bruises, it immediately stops bleeding (from a scab that I picked) and it’s improving my eyesight. I no longer need glasses to write a text (unless I’m really tired at night. I’ll be 60 yes old next year) my vision is not yet perfect but it’s vastly improved. I use the forks through the day. I’m also using them on thick skin bumps, which very very slowly seem to be breaking them up. I try them on mosquito bites but they don’t seem to help much with the itch.
    My friends are having different reactions: one woman is a very active 85 year old and uses them in her face. After about a week of daily work, a friend she saw on zoom asked if she had a facelift!
    Many many benefits for many friends and all due to YOU!!! Thank you a million times 🦋

      @Lore M Wow, Wow, Wow!!! This is awesome!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you leaving all this anecdotal feedback from you and your friends' personal experiences! It's so cool to see how different people have very different, and sometimes super specific, responses. I love the idea of using the forks for wound healing!! I never tried it. So do you just circle around the scab or cut? The vision thing makes some sense to me. I feel tension in the actual muscles of the eyes is often the culprit in distorted vision, so to relax those muscles, must make a big difference. And the appearance of a facelift doesn't surprise me either. That's so great.
      I didn't do anything, I just put the info out there and got the ball rolling, you and your friends took it to a whole new level! It's very cool. Keep exploring and please feel free to report back with any other revelations. I really appreciate you. 🙏

      What method did you do to improve your eyesight?

    • @spinnettdesigns
      @spinnettdesigns 2 года назад +3

      @@athenabrown7777 I have not done it yet. I do know that my eyesight changes with life events so that is part of the situation. I’m doing some emotional energy work (childhood stuff) and my eyes improve, though they can get weak again (my close vision) if I don’t stay on top of my emotions.
      As an example: several years ago, I went to the eye Dr and he said « what happened ? What have you been doing? » I was a bit concerned and he said no, I haven’t seen you I. 5 years and your eyesight is better!
      My (abusive) husband left and the relief was so great that it affected my eyesight for the better. Basically, it’s all about relaxing the body, that’s THE key and there are many ways to do it.
      The forks are a nice addition to the other things I do that affect the whole body, including the eyes

Also, I have had several people ask me about tinnitus. Many people have come back with positive feedback in regards to reducing tinnitus-associated pain and also the ability of the tuning forks to occlude the ringing sound. If you are open to it, would you mind sharing more details about that part of your experience? Was there a permanent reduction in symptoms? Or did you just have reduced symptoms during your session? Did any points in particular help more than others? Many thanks. And, of course, only respond if you feel comfortable doing so. No pressure. I appreciate you watching and commenting!

    Hi . I'm really glad I found your chanel! You are the first to make me aware of the contraindicated use of tuning forks near to metal implants !
    I am currently studying sound healing therapy and about to begin to use singing bowls and tuning forks. Earlier this year
    I had a complete wrist replacement . Joint replacement and permanent fusion . Alot of metal in my left wrist !!
    Am I going to be able to use these bowls and forks ???

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  2 года назад +1

      Hi @kristy williams Wow! Ok, it's a lot. Firstly, I saw that you just signed up for my FREE Breathing Course, so thank you very much for that. I hope you get some good value from it.🙏😊Secondly, in regards to metal parts, this may not be universally thought of as a contraindication by all sound therapists. Here's my two cents on it, and then hopefully you can make a more informed decision for yourself. Because of the nature of metal, some people might not find vibration over those areas comfortable, as it has a different vibratory quality than your human tissue. So one side of it is just comfort. Then, please remember also that I am sharing information publicly on RUclips and am not able to evaluate/assess my students on this platform. That means I am EXTRA cautious when sharing this type of information, because I really want everyone to be as safe as possible. The tuning forks have such a gentle vibratory nature, but I could see that with long-term use it could be possible that repeated vibration might loosen or dislodge a screw or a bolt. Now, we have to also consider that replacement parts are much better made now than they were 20 or 30 years ago, so there may be less to worry about there. My honest opinion, even if it means an uncomfortable conversation, is to simply ask your surgeon his/her thoughts. Does he/she foresee any issues with regular use of these vibratory tools. If he/she says no, then maybe it's fine! Do I think you're going to have a problem after one or two uses? No. But daily use, especially if you are considering becoming a practitioner yourself? You may just want to think about it. Ultimately, these sound instruments can be amazingly healing to the body and are awesome for pain reduction. So ideally, we'd like to be able to use them after surgery, including joint replacement. I always tell my students on this platform to work away from the area of replacement, but again, perhaps your surgeon knows best. Sorry to not be more definitive here and also to place doubt in your mind. I hope that this helps you to make a good decision for yourself.

      @@kristywilliams9 great! I'm glad that was helpful. And also, you are doing these sound healing certifications. Maybe just ask your other teachers what their opinions are. OSTEOPOROSIS:
    I get asked about osteoporosis probably more than almost anything else. My answer may not be perfect, but here is what I like to explain to people. I hope it helps:
    Osteoporosis means you have weakened areas of bone, prone to fracture. Imagine how a high-pitched frequency shatters glass or a mirror. Your bones are susceptible to the vibration that travels through them. Is it a guarantee that the low-level frequency of the OTTO 128 will cause an issue? No. But there is some concern with continued use on an osteoporotic bone.
    Truth be told, there is some evidence out there that those full-body vibration platforms are quite useful for stimulating bone growth, and, in some cases, are being used to treat people with osteoporosis. This is a very different mechanism of action, however, than the localized vibration of a tuning fork, so I hesitate to compare them.
    Of course, you are free to do as you like, but I tend to be extra cautious, especially when teaching on RUclips, as I am not able to see you with my own eyes and evaluate your personal needs. I would say if you want to use your OTTO 128 on your body, perhaps avoid direct contact on the areas of osteoporosis. Meaning, if you have osteoporosis in your lumbar spine/hips, you would want to use your tuning fork away from those areas, on the face, skull or feet, for example.
    Also, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel. I appreciate it immensely.

Please keep me updated with any interested personal discoveries!😃In terms of hearing loss...I really can't say with any amount of certainty what the result will be, Julz. I've never personally worked with a child who has hearing loss. I would imagine it depends a lot on the root cause of the hearing loss. And then, it will also depend on the individual child. You already have the forks, so it's certainly worth a try! You won't cause further damage. And maybe there will be some benefit. Again, please do keep me posted with the results. Ia it a contraindication to use the Otto 128 weighted even in the abdominal or face if one haz osteoporosis? Or just don't use it directly on the bone.. ex.. knees, sternum, head?

      @jude weber Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I saw your email as well, and promise to answer a bit later. But I wanted to make sure I touch on this osteoporosis question quickly, as this is asked quite often. Here is the answer I normally provide: Osteoporosis means you have weakened areas of bone, prone to fracture. Although, honestly, there is also some data out there that those low-level full-body vibration platforms are quite useful for stimulating bone growth. But I would say that a vibration plate is quite different from a tuning fork, so it's not a perfect correlation. Meaning, if you have osteoporosis in your lumbar spine/hips, you maybe would want to use your tuning fork away from those areas, on the face and skull. Is this helpful? I hope so. I'll be in touch by email a bit later, Jude. Thanks for connecting.

      @BELightTT  2 года назад +1

      @Laszlo Horog obviously since you are dealing with your heart, it is very important to ask your physician this question. However, I can tell you that I have had several people in the community ask this same question, and the consensus from their doctors seems to be that modern stents are very stable and can hold up to this gentle vibration without issue. Again, I cannot tell you what to do. My best advice would be to tell your physician that you are interested in using a gentle vibration tool on your body, and ask if they foresee any complications with your stent. If you do get any more information on this topic yourself, please do share it with me, as it's important and I like to stay as informed as possible.🙏
      Also, thank you so much for your very kind words. I intend to keep offering value like this the best that I can. Have a blessed day!

      @@BELightTT I really appreciate your honest advice. While you are absolutely correct that this vibration is so gentle and the heart is so deep inside behind several skin, bone and muscle tissues, I will still talk to my cardiologist about using OTTO 128 on or around the chest area. What is your opinion or the community's experience on using the vibration therapy with metal dental implants in the jaw? Thank you and God bless!

      @BELightTT  2 года назад +1

      @@laszlohorog8586 Excellent! I am glad to hear you will speak to your cardiologist. In terms of the implants, this topic has also come up a few times in the community. Look, I am sure they were quite expensive to have put into your mouth, so you want to be sure to take care of them the best that you can. I think to work on your face and skull with the tuning fork will be just fine. Your implants should be very stable. But definitely do NOT use the tuning fork on/near your teeth, and maybe avoid the area directly around your lips, which would penetrate into the gum line. Does this sound reasonable? And, of course, if anything FEELS uncomfortable or "wrong" to you, simply stop. Your body knows best what it needs.😉 I hope this helps, Laszlo.

      @Smuzzy Wumbles I really appreciate the subscribe. Thank you so much for that! I, honestly, have never used a 111Hz, but after reading up on it, it sounds like a great choice. I'm pretty sure there are a few others in the community also working with a 111Hz tuning fork. If you follow my channel for a while, you'll find that I am quite un-dogmatic and that I really encourage people to do a lot of self-exploration. The best way to truly know if something will work well for you or not, is to simply try it! The tuning forks are really quite safe, and lend themselves well to this type of exploration. When using the fork on my head the vibration absorbs quickly. Way faster than yours. Does that mean that it needs more? Thank you for all your amazing content❤

    • @BELightTT

      Hi @Cosmic Vegan Chick Hmmmm, it could be a few things. 1. Sometimes when I'm teaching these tutorials via video and I'm talking a lot (aka "too much" LOL😂) I don't always move the fork as soon as I feel the vibration ends. Sometimes, I'll finish my sentence first. So not every application in this video might be a totally accurate depiction of how long the vibration lasts. 2. The duration of vibration can correlate somewhat with the quality of your fork. It just depends what it's made of. 3. If you find your fork is dying out too quickly, you can strike it harder. It will vibrate proportionately to how hard you strike it. There's a limit when striking it on the body (because it hurts after a while), but you can get a rubber striker to assist with your practice. I hope that helps! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Enjoy!

      @SH B Well isn't this the million dollar question?😳 Firstly, thank you so much for watching, for trying out this work and for commenting. Your question is a great one and an important one. Here's what I will say. Please understand that since I am teaching self-care tools via a digital platform and I cannot control who sees these videos or supervise how they use the information, I tend to lean toward being extra cautious with my guidelines. In general, I would say stay away from any pins, only because over time, I fear the consistent vibration might loosen something. Will it happen from a single use? No. Might it happen with repeated use? It's quite possible. Especially since this is an old surgery which utilized less modern techniques and tools. Let me ask you, do you feel any pain or strange sensations when the vibration travels through your left hand? You may be ok to use your left hand occasionally for this practice. But, if possible, I would simply use your right hand instead whenever you can, if that's an option for you. Sorry to not be able to give you a 100%, super precise answer, but I do hope this helps. 💖

      Hi @Rose m Nieves YES! @Moon Godess thank you so much for watching and asking this great question. While the tuning fork vibration is gentle, it is still powerful and still travels through the entire body. If someone has very weak or brittle bones, the vibration can fracture them and cause a lot of pain. Imagine a sound wave shattering a mirror or thin piece of glass. Vibration can be powerful. Now, there is some research that full-body vibration of low intensity might actually stimulate bone growth and assist people with weak bones. But that is something very different from the tuning forks. To err on the side of caution, it has always been recommended to me to avoid weak bones with the tuning forks. I hope this helps. @Mary Kirschner don't give up! May I ask what attracted you to tuning forks in the first place, Mary? If they resonate with you, I invite you to keep trying. Maybe your skull is not the place you will feel it most. Did you try using them on your sternum? For me, that always seems to be the spot that resonates universally with people. Perhaps because it is right over the heart. You can take a look at my video about using the tuning fork on the sternum & ribs here: ruclips.net/video/WqIpqCoav64/видео.html In terms of tuning fork quality, yes, that can be an issue. To be clear, the tuning fork will ring relative to how hard you strike it. And because I am talking a lot during these videos, you cannot always tell exactly when my vibration runs out. Don't let that be the discouraging point. Do you feel the vibration at all? The fork I recommend to people is more expensive than the one you own, but it is produced by one of my teachers, so I really trust the quality. If you are ever interested in taking a look, here is my affiliate link. Of course, there is no pressure to buy another fork, if you don't feel called to do so. biosonics.com/product/otto-tuner-128-weighted/ref/527/ I hope you'll keep trying, Mary. @GM Sinding I had actually never thought of that either! LOL🤣 It was a member of my Community who originally tried it and told me she got great results with it.😊 When you say you got "bad results", do you mean you had a negative reaction? Or it was simply ineffectual? You can certainly try it as a weighted fork and see how you respond. I do think actually being able to hold the fork to the body and really feel the vibration does have a powerful result. In terms of the frequency, I have not worked much with the 174Hz, so I cannot speak from experience. But if you already have it available and are willing to give it a try, I would say go for it! You have nothing to lose. If you have a "bad reaction", it will inevitably be temporary. But ultimately, you'll never know how you'll respond until you try it. I wish you lots of luck and am hoping for a miraculous outcome for you. If you don't mind, please keep me posted. I would love to hear about your results.

      @Kevin Adams thanks for watching and commenting. Headaches can be tricky, as they are different for everyone. You'll have to experiment and see what works best for you. The tuning forks should be helpful, but there are cases where the increased blood flow and general attention can exacerbate the symptoms of a headache. I would say go through this whole SKULL session, and see which points feel the most generally relieving for you. Then use those points during an active headache and see if you get relief. If you regularly get headaches, I would definitely recommend doing a self-session like this 1-2 times during the week between bouts of acute symptomology, in order to try to keep the headaches at bay. • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  2 года назад

      @Sue LaRocco osteoporosis means you have weakened areas of bone, prone to fracture. Of course, you are free to do as you like, but I tend to be extra cautious, especially when teaching on RUclips, as I am not able to see you with my own eyes and evaluate your personal needs. I would say if you want to use your OTTO 128 on your body, perhaps avoid direct contacts on the areas of osteoporosis. Meaning, if you have osteoporosis in your lumbar spine/hips, you maybe would want to use your tuning fork away from those areas, on the face and skull. Is this helpful?

For example, he'll use an OTTO 64Hz exclusively on the sacrum during his cranio-sacral sessions to help balance the autonomic nervous system. He'll use an OTTO 32 Hz to mobilize lymph through the body. If your goal is to alter brain waves, for example, you're definitely going to want to get into some lower frequencies. There are so many books and resources, John. If this is interesting to you, I would recommend exploring a little on your own. I can recommend John Beaulieu's book as a starting point, but I am sure there are many other great options out there as well: biosonics.com/product/human-tuning-sound-healing-with-tuning-forks/ref/527/ I hope that helps! Maria, I wouldn't do it. It's not a good idea. The vibration is subtle, but can still make any fracture or bone weakness worse. Please be cautious. Thank you for your question. I am sorry I did not see it earlier. Be well.

    Ma'am please elaborate how does the effect change with change of frequency ,I mean what if the frequency is more or less than 128 Hz.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  3 года назад +3

      Hi, Rajesh. Yes, it is a very good question. But working with different frequencies can get complex. You will find a lot of different people claiming different things for different frequencies. Some my have some scientific evidence, but some may just be basing their theories on anecdotal evidence. That is why I decided to ONLY focus in on this ONE frequency: the 128Hz. I feel comfortable and confident with "the general benefits one may expect to experience" from using this fork. If you are interested in other frequencies, I think you should definitely explore more on your own. Sound Healing can be so powerful. As a very GENERAL rule, lower frequencies tend to resonate more with lower chakras, and higher frequencies tend to resonate more with higher chakras. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. This conversation can go very deep. I would encourage you to read up on it a bit. The one book I always suggest is written by one of my teachers, John Beaulieu...it is called Human Tuning: biosonics.com/product/human-tuning-sound-healing-with-tuning-forks/ref/527/ But if that is not accessible to you, I know there are many books written on this topic. Please explore. Because you are so interested right now, I know you will find the right book for your purposes. 😊

    Can you use the 128 on the skull for helping heal from stroke or TBI (Traumatic brain injury)

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  2 года назад

      @Marc Shroetter I am not an MD, and I am doubtful that we have any data in regards to your question, so please do not take my response for well-founded medical advice. My most cautious answer would be to definitely ask your physician. I do not anticipate any contraindications, but I really cannot say for sure. I can tell you that the OTTO 128 is show to cause a local release of nitric oxide, which is a vasodilator. I would think in most cases, this would be helpful for anyone who has suffered with a stroke or CVD. If you do ask your physician, and you think of it, please do come back to me and let me know their response. Many thanks! 🙏Have a wonderful week.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  2 года назад

      @@marcshroetter6083 These questions are outstanding. And I wish I had more concrete answers for you, but unfortunately, there is no research, as far as I know, investigating the effects of a 128Hz frequency on the mitochondria (if you stumble across any, please do let me know🙏). Most of the concrete science I've seen from lab studies mostly describes the 128Hz as boosting nitric oxide, which in turn balances the autonomic nervous system, along with immune function, and helps with the natural release of anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory modulators in the body.

      @BELightTT  Год назад

      @catalinafernandezlopez1407 I've often wondered this myself. I don't have any anecdotal evidence to suggest it does. If you wanted to experiment in a very consistent and disciplined way, daily, it might be worth seeing what happens. It will also depend on what is causing the hair loss, as that issue is so multi-factorial. I don't have the patience myself to do this experiment, but if you try it out, please let me know your results! Thanks so much for stopping by the channel, for watching and for commenting.

    Why are some tuning forks so much cheaper than others? What makes them more costly?

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  3 года назад +1

      @Elly Alvois it's a good question. I imagine a part of it is the material they're made out of. Another part will be where in the world they are made (production/manufacturing costs). How much/how long they resonate/vibrate will be a major component. How accurately they are tuned to a specific frequency is another component. I think, like anything, it's material costs and craftsmanship. I know that John designed his forks, for example, to have a lot of overtones, because he believes that is imperative to their therapeutic quality. Whereas a typical tuning fork is designed to be as pure-toned as possible, with as few overtones as possible. Not sure if this helps or not...🤷‍♀️

    Hi! Why not On osteoporosis?

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  Год назад +1

      Hi @Denise Iacobecu it's a great question, and one that I get asked probably more than any other. For that reason, I am copying and pasting the answer that you can also find in the comment pinned to the top of this page. I hope it helps give you a more informed answer. Take care and thank you for stopping by the channel:

      @BELightTT  3 года назад

      @@foxyauragems6146 Aw, that stinks! Yes, the end part of the fork can sometimes be uncomfortable. And yes, those gem feet are more expensive than the forks! I know! Search "end pieces" or "handles" for tuning forks. The gem feet are only expensive because of the gem stones. But you may find some kind of attachment for the fork that is simply rounded metal, without the gem stone. One of my subscribers actually repurposed a wooden file handle (like you would use in a tool shop) and attached it to his OTTO 128. He says the vibration is still excellent and the rounded wooden handle is super comfortable. Plus, a file handle only costs about $6, but it takes a little bit of labor and craftsmanship to install. 🤷‍♀️ Sorry I don't have a perfect solution for you. I know you will find something. It's in the forefront of your consciousness now! 😉

    My Otto 128 came with an allen wrench. What do I do with it? Is it for moving the position of the weights?
    TM

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT  2 года назад

      @T Mitsuya-gmail oh, interesting! You're lucky! Mine did not come with an allen wrench.😪 Yes, I would say it serves two purposes. 1. if you also purchased a gem foot to use as a handle, the allen wrench will tighten your gem foot onto the base of the fork. 2. Apparently, you can take your weights off the prongs and use your fork as an UNweighted tuning fork, allowing it to just ring out (without the weights, it will not be useful for creating vibration through the body.) OR you can apparently place those same weights onto another unweighted tuning fork, if you have one (creating a weighted tuning fork with a different frequency than the 128Hz). Truthfully, I didn't always realize you could do that. But I've had several students use the same weights on multiple forks with the help of the allen wrench. You should not have to adjust the position of the weights. They should be placed pretty close to the ends of the prongs. (Please check the video to see where my weights are located in relationship to the ends of the prongs.) I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions, and I'm so excited for you to explore more with your OTTO 128. Please let me know how it goes! 😊
