    Can you use this for osteoporosis?

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT 5 дней назад

      Hi, there! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. This is a great question with an imperfect answer. I get asked this quite often, so you can always find my response in the comment pinned to the top of each of my tuning fork videos. For your convenience, I am copying and pasting my answer here for you. I hope it helps! Have a great day. OSTEOPOROSIS: I get asked about osteoporosis probably more than almost anything else. My answer may not be perfect, but here is what I like to explain to people. I hope it helps: Osteoporosis means you have weakened areas of bone, prone to fracture. Imagine how a high-pitched frequency shatters glass or a mirror. Your bones are susceptible to the vibration that travels through them. Is it a guarantee that the low-level frequency of the OTTO 128 will cause an issue? No. But there is some concern with continued use on an osteoporotic bone. Truth be told, there is some evidence out there that those full-body vibration platforms are quite useful for stimulating bone growth, and, in some cases, are being used to treat people with osteoporosis. This is a very different mechanism of action, however, than the localized vibration of a tuning fork, so I hesitate to compare them. Of course, you are free to do as you like, but I tend to be extra cautious, especially when teaching on RUclips, as I am not able to see you with my own eyes and evaluate your personal needs. I would say if you want to use your OTTO 128 on your body, perhaps avoid direct contact on the areas of osteoporosis. Meaning, if you have osteoporosis in your lumbar spine/hips, you would want to use your tuning fork away from those areas, on the face, skull or feet, for example.

    My opinion on postural analysis before watching the video: left hip hike, left hip rolled anteriorly, the interesting part to me, is left thoracic spine (torso) is oriented posteriorly. This is often the stance of Mom’s who hold their child on the left hip.

    • @georginabastien49
      @georginabastien49 5 дней назад

      Or a person doing a repetitive job pulling things with left hand to their far left e.g. a grocery cashier (which feels more comfortable for a right handed person) who’s work space orients them in that position. I know cuz I was a cashier for a while. The store had setups so that the spaces were oriented both directions, so we could get a chance to work pulling/picking up items with right hand and rotating right to place them on the conveyor belt. Other repetitive jobs can orient our upper and lower body in slightly opposite positions - that would cause posture to look like this.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT 5 дней назад

      @georginabastien49 Thank you so much for that quick assessment. You're so right! It IS like a mom who holds her child on one hip all the time. I don't want to make excuses, but there definitely is a slight structural leg-length difference - left femur being slightly longer - which I have always felt drives up that left hip. Plus, just overall poorer movement integration on the left side. It's always super interesting. That's great that you are trained to pick up on all these messages that the body leaves for us.😍 Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!🙏

      @@georginabastien49 That's pretty cool that the store where you worked had cashier booths set up so that you could keep alternating your biomechanics! I love that. How progressive! LOL. I've spent most of my career as a massage therapist and personal trainer. Definitely repetitive movement patterns, but I've always tried to split the work between right and left (especially when working on other people's bodies). I do play piano, with my right foot always extended forward onto the pedal, which I do think can contribute to some torsion through the pelvis. And I also have spent many hours at my guitar, which definitely encourages a rotation to the left through the thorax. And then we can't rule out all the daily habits of cutting, writing, brushing teeth, etc. Very right-side dominant. It's all interesting! I don't know if we'll ever have all the answers, but it is fascinating to observe! For me, the facial/cranial asymmetries that develop as compensation patterns are the most fascinating! Do you find that as well in your practice? Thanks again for all your lovely input.

      @@BELightTT Very interesting channel you have! We all do have a minor leg length discrepancy. But seeing your reply about playing piano, I can well imagine the LLD, much like people who drive a lot everyday. The muscles get shorter from being in constant contraction. Interestingly I was at a chiropractor and asked him to adjust my right ankle and voila the talus which was in subluxation - released and evened out my LL. Fascinating how everything affects our bodies.

    • @georginabastien49

      @@BELightTT I recall massaging female tennis player who just had immense right side asymmetry to upper back muscles. I’d never seen anything like it. When an athlete is working out - you’d think they’d do extra work on their less dominant side so that doesn’t happen. If I recall she just loved tennis and played a great deal all her life. When I watch musicians play I look at their posture and can notice muscle asymmetry. When I am walking I’m always watching people’s gait … can’t help myself. I have yet to watch the video in full. But I love what I have seen on your channel so far in regards to breathing and the diaphragm.

    In past videos, you’ve said it’s preferable to only use auto tuner on one area no more than twice. How long should I wait until I can hit the same spot again? I love putting my fork on my sternum over heart it feels like my heart is being tickled

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT 8 дней назад

      @thatguy3847 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Yes, that is one theory, that the nitric oxide effect diminishes a bit with too many applications to the same spot. Please keep in mind that a "spot" is only about the diameter of a quarter, so you have LOT of them, even in a relatively small area. You can certainly spend a good amount of time working the entire length of the sternum (which I also love as much as you, by the way. It's one of my favorites.) In terms of the "reset" time, I would say even if you wanted to work on your sternum once per hour, on the hour, it would be totally fine, especially if you receive those calming effects. I hope this helps! Enjoy your fork and thank you so much for supporting the channel.

    what would you say about the flow of the energy of the feeling of pressure throughout a person's system for the assumption that a person smokes because they want emotional breaths of fresh air, or a person binge-eats because they're trying to get rid of the pressure of feeling empty. I'm assuming that those two feelings are closely related and can at least be somewhat mitigated by making yourself feel sighs of relief for no reason (at least with smoking) and press/releasing specific places in specific organs in a specific circuit in order to deepen that feeling of relief through the specific emotional circuit present in every smoker that feels like they have so much pressure they need to relieve those feelings in the first place. I don't smoke although i don't have the community that I would otherwise want that are in Sheffield (the parkour community or an esoterically-oriented one like the light language online community; although preferably in real life; that I've spent half of my life in). I'm assuming the energy organ path for the feelings is along the lines of starting from the entry point of the large intestine -> gallbladder -> kidneys -> out the exit point of the kidneys. I also don't know what to look up for this and am really weighed down so I'm mostly unable to just keep searching for a direct answer. I'm combining this logic with a 128Hz tuning fork because it's a tuning fork that gets a person the most bang for their buck in relieving stress. I asked that to Sam Belyea for his reflexology oriented advice. I want to combine these two fields of knowledge together because of experiencing how valuable the weighted fork is for relieving pressure as well, and it would be quite invaluable to know what length down the fork the weights have to be in order to target specific heavy feelings along that energy flow line of emotional weight! Scared. One of the fears being of the times where people aren't able to afford these emotional weight-based addictions and so if I don't have the fork/reflexology solutions to this that get the most bang for the buck.. u get the idea. And then if the solution makes a tuning fork a replacement for a cigarrete or an 85% chocolate bar, for example which is what i eat, then there are going to be three groups of people in my prediction which probably isn't reliable whatsoever, of people whom either refuse the solution and people who take it up, and people who hesitate before attempting it.

      can u help me get the specific vibe numbers for how the vibe of the fork varies with where the weight is placed down the fork? I'm not sure how to get the vibe numbers myself.

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT 12 дней назад

      @@staryeeter Hi, there! I see you are up to your usual profound, esoteric thinking.😉It sounds like you are onto something. I love your idea of taking a "pressure-focused" approach to resolving discomfort and dysfunction in the body. Pressure regulation is a very important topic. I am suffering with some dysregulation myself this week, and let me tell you, it takes over your life!😱 What you are proposing is soooo specific to your particular knowledge base, experience and passion, that I'm afraid to tell you that you're probably not going to find the answers externally. You'll find them by continuing to experiment on your own and with your clients. In terms of "specific vibe number", I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean oscillations per second? If so, that's what the 128 implies. Are you asking if the number of oscillations changes depending how far down the prongs you place the weights of the weighted tuning fork? Gosh, I hope it wouldn't not change that number in a meaningful way at all. 🤷‍♀ Or perhaps I am not fully understanding your question. Feel free to clarify further, if you like. I wish you well with your continued exploration. I always love what you come up with. Have a great night!

    • @staryeeter
      @staryeeter 12 дней назад

      @@BELightTT the second of oscillations changing depending on how far you place the weights down. The reason why it would be a good thing to know that the vibe changes with where weights are placed down the fork is because the fork'll then give different applications for how to feel with what I'm using it for - currently feeling exaggerated sighs of relief and seeing how the fork changes the feeling i have depending on where the weights are placed down the fork, and I've narrowed down the combinations of what could happen by placing the fork on the gallbladder which should be the storage organ for anger at least - although it dramatically simplifies the combination logic as there's only one point for it on one hand and It's too damn obvious for how to massage that one spot because you either have to put pressure on it via circles or press/releases. I've shifted my mindset to another way of looking at the vibes, as well as finding it to be really really useful to combine the fork vibes with something called light langauge which I've just unveilled my innate ability of (the community calls it light language although I call it something else out of pragmatics, which is another paragraph which i won't state in order to stay on topic). The theory is that instead of looking for what weighted tuning fork oscillation numbers are (which I don't have because I don't have the equipment to film a fork going through a lot of sways; I attempted it), to think of the places where the weights are placed down the fork as bringing out an emotion of a different organ. I think the only way to truly clarify this logic is with the aid of my Lung Organ Emotion example - if i place the fork on my gallbladder hand point (it shouldn't make a difference to whether i place it on the palm or back of the hand, although may make a difference if i use the foot which I haven't tried - I've only tried on the palm) with the weights being between the first centimeter and three centimetres down, if I feel a sigh of relief for no reason and vibrate the fork on the spot, then my emotional state will change from (depending on where in that range it's placed) a sigh of relief to laughter, or give me a bigger sigh of relief (which was the initial intention). After that range of where the weight is placed down the fork, I get different emotional reactions. I thought that this might showcase how the organs are connected to one another in regard to the vibrations of the emotions they're responsible for giving out in a person, and how they're connected to themselves. With this example, in my belief, while I don't know what emotions the gallbladder were responsible for other than anger (which is honestly a guess to me that I'm using to simplify things), I believe that the negative emotion of the lungs is sadness which is an easy lookup, I believe they're responsible for carrying emotional weight that gives a person their feelings to smoke, although on the positive side for giving a person neutral feelings of relief, and laughter, which is why amplifying the state of a sigh of relief and making me laugh hard for no reason was very significant to me - they're positive lung emotions! Which to me means that this zone of where the weights of the tuning fork can be placed down the fork is where the vibrations of the fork connect the emotional reactions of the gallbladder and the lungs together, which also means that it could enable me to reframe a situation where I actually need to convert anger or pressure to either laugh it off or feel relieved from it and have my system rationalise what it meant to be positive for no other reason than I knew how to use my Fork Reframe! (It would beat my power pose QiGong reframe). A Genuine thank you for replying because Sky Life nor Sam Belyea have yet and you're very responsive! My friend David loved my idea when i came up with it a few days ago, upon watching Sam Belyae's video on self reflexology for the hand, to placebo a sigh of relief while press-releasing into the palm of your hand, which he said "oh my god I desperately needed that yesterday when I had joint pains in my hands and arms!" - I'm just upgrading and upgrading the principle as usual. (Hopefully you can understand this part, although it's more of a spew of what the dream thing to figure out would be which I'm close to figuring out, and it may be classed as mental rocket science in my perspective) The ultimate aim i have for all of this as I live in a really bad situation that's also really damn boring and my identity just forces me to keep finding solutions for everything and anything i can think of, is to figure out and change the thing Frank Pucelik says in an unpopular video to be the only 3-4 things that make any therapy work (which I believe could immediately be flipped into the positive side of things to mean that there are only 3-4 ways to make a person feel really good through what you say without guessing and leaving it to luck, and to change them into being able to put themselves into greater overall peak states even without realising it. I admit this part may not make sense until you understand the next part). I'll phrase it like this - virginia satir has in her model of therapy like 3-4 main stress stances that everyone uses throughout stressful situations whether they realise it or not. If you go into those positions like you're role playing and try to feel those ways even a little bit and say meaningless things aiming for the emotion of the stance to get connected with the meaningless statement, good luck not getting stressed out for no reason (in fact, when I did that it even heated up my entire system away from being cold and then after I'd finished the livestream session the exaggerated emotional stress had my hand flip on a rock with very little pressure and I dislocated my shoulder when it should've been perfectly fine otherwise). The perspective then is that each of those positions cause the person to gear what they say towards one particular statement that stresses everything out, like the Blamer's "I hate you!" (yeah there could be other statements although we're simplifying things here). I Hate You has a specific language structure that's obvious in NLP although I won't state here to not go into those terms which are still relatively easy to learn anyway. What Frank said he'd identified with John and the others was that the other of virginia's stances had one particular statement that came out in every stressful situation, and that these statements were in every therapy, and the only few successful therapies that were out there only worked because of the statements that healed/fixed, at levels probably below either the therapist or the other person's awareness, the problematic stress statements. Which I believe lie in a person's power poses which enable them to really easily achieve peak emotional states where they would have a much harder time even thinking about being stressed out! The dream here would be to figure out how to place the weights down the fork (or use the 128 unweighted) on specific organs so that the stressful statements are cut out, and the positive states amplified! Starting with the gallbladder because it just simplifies things. I'm aiming for organs responsible for deciding what to do with what a person sees and hears first because I believe that that sensory information is the prerequisite for them deciding how to feel about whatever it is and should also be the easiest to work with - therefore the gallbladder, then either the triple warmer which very clearly links what the person sees to what they hear and then decides how to make the person feel, and the large intestine because that's where most of my energy is flowing and it should be the meridian that's used directly after the person's system decides what to do with what they've saw and heard, although the entry point of the triple warmer directly linking ot the large intestine anway

      I'm deciding to give you the light language thing in another paragraph in case you decide to read it and aren't too confused with that last paragraph - you don't have to read this one in case you don't want to. Light language = human language/language of feelings/language of state in essence, languages like English are taught. Human language/state language is the language that humans are designed to express feelings directly to one another with that's brought out instead of taught. that I use my power pose model to explain really easily, then narrowed down can be explained even more by how the emotions given by each organ contribute to how a person feels in the emotional gesture, as well as how their meridian systems act in the power pose. I currently have my weighted fork set so that the weights are like one and a half cm down the prongs which makes me laugh when i have a sigh of relief and put it on my gallbladder on the palm of my hand. If i then access the feelings of Blamer and give one of Blamer's statements in state language ("i hate you" is "Hala Kee-esh!" in state language, which feels relieving, in a way different to swearing and I don't really swear anyway unlike most people right now), If I have the fork dinged and intend to move the fork with the energy of the speech (there must be an upwards energy current here for this to happen with me just feeling what to do here), the fork changes the way i feel to what's coming out of my mouth and so, for this statement, has me 1) not able to say it, and then 2) laugh off the statement until I'm satisfied. Doesn't cut out the need for the pressure addiction although at least now I've got away to vibrationally "cut it out!" when the things that I wish I had make me feel really negative, and I have another way of expressing myself when I'm alone that's more effective than swearing. When I've used this on the relief state with the statement "I'm so relieved!" with the weights at 0.75cm down with my hands descending down through my chest in that QiGong-related relief gesture (wouldn't have to know QiGon gwhatsoever in order to do this though), the fork's unexpectedly turned the state into peak excitement!

    Hey Tara, am I able to work 1-on-1 with you? I am a long term anxiety sufferer. Air hunger has been extremely bad for the last two years, my neck / diaphram muscles are constantly tight, it appears I'm dealing with costochondritis and pelvic floor dysfunction to top it off. I'm in a real bad place and I really believe that my breathing dysfunction is the culprit of everything going on with me. If that's not possible, would you be able to link me some resources that you believe could be helpful for my situation? It looks like there is a lot of videos and I unfortunately won't have time to look through everything. Thanks & take care :)

      Hi @Syruis_X The tuning forks can be very bio-individual, but yes, in general I would say they could be very useful for all the issues you mentioned. @ayshealieva5072 Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and offer feedback on your experience. I'm happy to hear that overall, the session brought you into a deep state of relaxation. Honestly, that's usually the case for most people. I've never seen a case where the forks make people more anxious. They are quite magical in that way. Regarding the headache, I would say that's the worst "negative" side effect I've ever seen using the forks, and I like to think of it simply as information. Do you have a history of TMJ issues or migraines or anything like that? I would say you could still work toward that left side TMJ, but maybe do less in the beginning. Don't force yourself to work on any points that make you feel worse. Thanks again for your lovely comment. Have a great day.

    Great Video! Just found you. Quick question, when you were explaining your client on the bed, you pulled the arm and expected to see majority of superficial front line pulling through the torso and legs and then foot. Would that be the right arm to left foot or right arm to right foot or like the body and arm in general all over? I'm guess the opposites (more visually, opposing joints theory) but just wanted to get some clarification. I'm here for the binging, you're great and very much along the lines of what I want to share with my future audience!! Thank you so much!

      Hi @seemamistry Thank you so much for such a kind and engaged comment. I really appreciate that. This is a really great question, Seema. The truth is, it's going to look a bit different in everyone, right? But ultimately, you'd want to see both feet moving. Remember, the body is a bio-tensegrity system. Your right arm has to be integrated through your torso down to your right foot, and, of course, your right arm has to be integrated across the body, down to your left foot. When a client is well-integrated, you could pull one arm and see the entire system move. I hope this helps. Thank you again for supporting the channel. Hope to see you more soon. P.S. What modalities do you specialize in that you plan to share with your future audience? I always appreciate connecting with other practitioners. 💖

I am loving how you put yourself out there to share with us and help us understand these vessels we live in for better longevity. Your gait assessment was sooo good!!! I've been teaching yoga for 19 years, however in the last 11 years I've gotten educated in breathing and breathwork as well as hypopressive training and just recently completed a course in neurology for pain. This brain of ours is quite incredible isn't it. The more I learn, the less I thought I knew but I'm loving the journey. What I'd like to show up for people is to help educate about how important breathing is and also integrating a big part of the neurological assessments for quicker results. We start learning what types of movement with there senses, and how the cranial nerves, the brain etc. all play an integral part in the healing just as much or even more in some cases then the actual motor movements of the body. So once again, really appreciate how clear and well rounded your content is...especially for someone like me who loves this stuff and knows how important it is.

      @BELightTT 20 дней назад

      Hi, again @1785Kristy My tuning fork video series simply brings people through the entire body and shows them how they might approach using the OTTO 128 on all these different areas. In terms of the benefits to you as the individual, you will only know the results by trying it out for yourself. As I say in many of my videos, if you are already trained within a specific school of thought or according to certain body maps, the tuning forks seamlessly transpose onto those maps. So you could use the fork on reflexology points, for sure. The same would go for acupuncture/acupressure, shiatsu, marma points, etc. If you'd like to watch a video about the potential benefits of the OTTO 128, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/0jcO6g8T8sQ/видео.htmlsi=DYvtXmMosvAyQXWT If you'd like help trying to understand how to compose a session for clients, you might like this video here: ruclips.net/video/yPjU_nJsiLM/видео.htmlsi=nbKjWcoiV6b57OME Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

    • @BELightTT
      @BELightTT 20 дней назад

      @1785Kristy thanks so much for watching. Yes, of course, you're going to feel the vibration in the hand that is holding the fork. That is unavoidable. In terms of the main goal....the goal is simply to show people how I might put together a face treatment and all the different points that are possible, as some people feel lost or afraid to use the fork in certain places. But the tuning fork can have many benefits...many of which are also quite bio-individual. So would it help with migraines? It might! Could it help with TMJ issues? Almost certainly! Is it very relaxing? Almost 100% of the time. In fact, I've never seen anyone have a negative response to the tuning forks. Maybe at worst, they don't feel anything, or some people might get a little headaches if they do too much. Hi @grime7002 I appreciate you watching and trying out this session. Thanks for that! I would not say it's "normal". But your body has to be wherever it's at. If you are experiencing some air hunger with the 3x3 box breath, it's probably an indication that your breathing is just a bit on the dysfunctional side. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you! There's simply some room for improvement if you'd like to be more efficient and have a bit more energy. Do you have any other symptoms of "dysfunctional breathing", do you know? For example, mouth-breathing, lack of focus, subconscious breath-holding, poor sleep, constant fatigue, chronic pain, chronic stress, anxiety, poor digestion, etc.?

      tldr: If they can't include haptic feedback through the device, it's not difficult for a development team to push out a firmware update to make the phone provide haptic feedback for short sessions and while wearing, walking about to signal breathing changes. You mentioned haptic feedback, and interoception separately, but I think these two things are also linked. After years of developing my breathing practice I've gotten to the point where I feel very in touch with the fauna of different things I may feel and how to guide myself to a blissful state. However, admittedly, embarrassingly, I am a novice at sustaining a blissful state perpetually throughout the day. Daily meditation first thing in the morning makes me a remarkably better person, and it makes all aspects of life and performance better, but there are habits I know branch from stress that I can't shake. For example, I find myself clenching my jaw, or shallow breathing throughout the day. Often these two come as a pair. There was a device several years ago called the spire stone (now discontinued breath-tracking wearable) which brought this to light for me since it had haptic feedback. Anytime my breath became shallow, it would vibrate, I would notice my breathing, i'd notice my jaw, I'd scan for negative thoughts, etc., and I'd consider whether the feelings are valid, or whether the physiological response is extraneous and if I ought to relax. This can be helpful for offloading the cognitive work of constantly checking in on yourself. While there's a place for frequent checks, hyper interoseption can also turn into hypochondria or even, in rare cases, trigger a hypervigilant, dysphoric self-awareness, not many have shed light on; almost the opposite of bliss. I'm not sure why this is a rare topic, but some yogis and psychiatrists have touched on this phenomena. At any rare, looking at an app for too long or often can be harmful and looking inward too much can be harmful, particularly if you're doing it wrong. There's an ancient Greek saying which summarizes my point: "Pan Metron Ariston"---everything in moderation. Anyways, forgive this long-winded comment. Be well.

      Hi @shaukatiqbal9060 Thank you so much for watching. You can find the answers to some commonly asked questions in the comment pinned to the top of this page. I am also copying the answer for you here. I hope it helps! HOW LONG SHOULD I PRACTICE EACH OF THESE TECHNIQUES? 1. Nasal breathing should be practiced all day, as much as possible, even during physical exercise and during sleep. 2. Humming needs to be increased incrementally according to your tolerance. I always recommend starting with just 2 minutes once per day for 1-2 weeks. If that is working well, you can increase to 2 minutes twice per day for 1-2 weeks. If you want to increase more, you can try 5 minutes of humming once per day for 1-2 weeks, and then continue to increase incrementally as desired. I do know many people who hum for 10 minutes per day, but that is not necessary for everyone. It is important to experiment with your own body and observe your personal response to this practice. If you experience any pain or irritation in your throat or vocal cords, or if this practice causes you to feel a lot of tension, please hum more quietly, or lessen the total amount of time you are humming. If you feel stressed from this practice, I invite you to try another practice instead. Not every technique is right for everyone. 3. The tuning fork session is also highly individual. The points that I suggested in this video might take 5-10 minutes total. This sequence could easily be done once per day, or a few times per week. Of course, in my private practice, I have done 60-minute tuning fork sessions with clients, so this will again be a personal choice based on time availability, desired outcome, and actual results. I invite you to explore. The tuning forks are really very safe, except for pace makers, osteoporosis, weak bones, bone fractures or around metal hardware in the body.

      Hi @edhayden8745 I'm not sure I understand your question. I don't talk about anything nutritional in this video. But I know there are tons of videos on RUclips talking about dietary sources of nitric oxide. Take a look. I'm sure you'll find an answer.
