Nice try but no. History shows when you force religion on to ppl you get a destructive society and retaliation. You cannot get ppl to follow a evil morality in this fictional god character and expect a peaceful world. If there was a “just” god ,he would allow ppl into this heaven who are good for the sake of being good without a god. rather then being good because they fear a god.

Since the beginning of recorded history, which is defined by the invention of writing by the Sumerians around 6,000 years ago, historians have cataloged over 3700 supernatural beings, of which 2870 can be considered deities.

There are things I don’t understand about the Bible, but I’ve learned to use that as a queue to study, rather than assume that something is wrong (which is the easy way out). Evolution simply does not make sense; even when you ask scientists what came before the Big Bang, they literally say, ‘we don’t know, but it could’ve been another Big Bang from another universe that probably had its own Big Bang’.
The Bible, Christianity, and God make all the sense in the world and I’ve found that throughout my life, a biblical worldview is the ONLY thing that has stood the test of time.
Again, I don’t understand everything, but we also fail to understand that God chose to only reveal some things to us and has chosen to not reveal certain things as well.

That means the secularization & decline is as old as America itself (for the French had their revolution because they helped us defeat the british, and we didn’t pay them back, so that bankrupted them) and is something we’ve indeed imported from the europeans; including Soviet Russia if we listen to Yuri Bezmenov’s lecture on subversion.

Many disagree with it and want Islam to change to what the people. Islam doesn't budge one bit. Yet its followers grow tenfold every day.
What does Islam teaches us about the people of Lot, the Muslims of the Andalucia, the Romans etc? - they forgot God. When a society forgets God it will be met with severe chastisement. What about a society that out right denies God and seeks to replace him with another diety, like the Jews did with Golden Calph to Moses?

Just like there are physiological transformations and adaptations as a result of a response to environmental factors, there are also mental transformations and adaptations that have served us in order to survive and thrive over large expanses of time and at the pinnacle of mental evolution is the idea of a diety and morality that best suits the individual and collective simultaneously. No idea is perfect but these memes and archetypes are in a sense “true enough”.
It’s baffling to me to witness the arrogance people have by claiming no God and no need for religion. Don’t kid yourself. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and for one to simply say he/she is “woke” and can divorce oneself from the groundwork our ancestors laid down for us is a display of arrogance I can’t even begin to fathom.
I’m not even a Christian by practice but being born in the states constitutes some form of religiosity. It’s the foundation and bedrock of this nation and many nations across the world (religion).
It’s not whether I believe in God or not. My actions indicate a belief in something bigger than me. I can SAY I don’t believe but I ACT as if I do and what better way to display belief than how one acts? Read these religious treatices. Don’t become dogmatic of course, but see the strong values for what they are. These stories give you the keys to a meaningful life. Not happiness. But meaning. That’s way more important than trivial happiness that evaporates once a tragedy or chaos ensues.

No God and no need for religion, silly.
The statistics prove it -- secular countries are far better off.
Ask your founding fathers - I'm pretty sure they had a word or two to say about religion. Also, it's the Age of Enlightenment that your country is founded upon, not Judeo-Christian "values"/"ethics" rofl. Quite the opposite, in fact.

@@AndersLiljeblad Yeah, it (God and religion) is silly for those who are heading for destruction.
Secularism may good for helping advance technology and science, but not good for governing a society, families, and morality; by the way Romania and Poland are more safer than secular France and England.
The Age of Enlightenment came from Christian (Catholic) Europe, there's a reason why Christians are able to practice their religion so easily with no restrictions unlike Muslims and Hindus. And can you show me when the Federal government taught secularism built America before the 60s? Coz secularism is a new thing in America life.

@@AndersLiljeblad So cute. I remember being young and arrogant. You’re clearly cognitively inept. Your comment displays a clear void in your understanding of the founding of America and what The Enlightenment was about.
What statistics? Calling me silly yet what is silly is you claiming that the ‘statistics prove it’ yet you can’t provide me a link for this erroneous claim. What countries are secular nowadays? I know some that were secular in the 20th century and they had close to a hundred million corpses (China, Cambodia, the Soviet Union). North Korea is secular. But I assume you aren’t referring to them because they don’t fit into your worldview of great secular countries lmao.
Sorry, but no. America was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics. Hence why they put the individual over the collective. That’s not an Enlightenment claim either. It’s a theological claim. Man and woman were made in the image of God. That’s the basis for our adversarial system as it pertains to the rule of law. Innocent until proven guilty. The Quakers were Christians fundamentally. They were also at the forefront for the abolition of slavery. America was and still is a very religious country. You have no idea what you’re claiming. Science has it’s place but you are beyond idiotic if you think you can live your life following moral principles and still claim no belief in a deity. As if it doesn’t undergird you and you can divorce yourself from the religious concentric rings that keep you grounded in whatever polity you participate in. I could care less about what arrogant response you TYPE on your keyboard. You ACT as if you believe whether you like it or not. That is belief.
No need for religion huh? What about values? Because last time I checked, science can only tell you that the world is made of matter but not WHAT matters. There’s a difference. VALUES. Not just facts. So keep your shallow and pathetic responses at bay because it’s clear you have no idea what you are talking about. Such idiocy in your response. Nothing but bloviating. It’s sad and shameful. I hope those around you aren’t as naive and willfully blind. I understand science has it’s saliency but you atheist types don’t study enough about religion to make the claims you do and it’s sad. It’s obvious you don’t take this stuff seriously.
