The Quran doesn’t say to believe the bible. It says that Jesus was given the Injil (gospel). The bible you are referring to is the new testament which came after Jesus and was written by Paul. Not the same thing.

I am American and was Muslim for over 30 yrs. Wudu before morning prayer. Prayed in Arabic, yes I learned Arabic. 5 times a day, fasted during Ramadan. And practiced all the other nonsensical tasks of Islam, and hadiths of the prophet, muhammed. These Hadiths were ridiculous. No talking in the bathroom, no peeing outside in the shade, must sleep on your right side. These rules go on and on. I found Jesus. I am now born again and am blessed by the grace, and filled with the of Jesus Christ! Thank God for showing me the true way to Him. The only way through Jesus! The Bible and quran are very similar in content. The Quran is a watered down version of the Bible. In the name and blood of Jesus I pray that all Muslims find Jesus. The son of God. I can confirm Jesus appearing in a dream. It happened to me. I was raised in a muslim family but my intuition always made me feel that something wasn't right. At some point I started questioning everything. I started reading the Old Testament and got to Leviticus. I read nothing about Jesus himself, only the beginning of the OT, and still he appeared to me in a dream: I saw an old camera roll, where you can see the individual pictures, flying by my face and on those pictures I saw a golden city with golden people walking around. It was kinda in a cartoon-ish style, difficult to explain. Then Jesus appeared on those pictures and came out of those in human form. He was very tall and floated towards me. In that moment I felt such a pure and unconditional love covering me from head to toe, I could never put that feeling into words properly, it was absolutely amazing. I was breathing so heavily and felt so loved. Then I reached out my right hand to Him and He held my hand with the both of His, covering my hand. I could even feel his incredibly strong hands, solid and strong like rocks. Then I woke up and still had this wonderful feeling for a couple of seconds until it faded away. Although He didn't say anything to me, He said enough. He welcomed me into Him and showed me His pure love, and maybe even parts of His kingdom. I will forever keep this experience in my heart. I wanted to share this with whoever is gonna read it and hope that it gives you hope. Jesus is Lord and King, praise Him. Amen

Regarding His face I would say that the images we have today go in the right direction, but it's ofc not accurate. His face was rather roughed up, like you could tell that He went through tough times. And yes, He did not look caucasian. He looked more eastern, maybe like jewish or from iran/palestine, something like that with His skin having a darker tone, like a tan. And His hands, like I said, were very strong, like He had worked a lot with them. Makes sense since He was a carpenter. And His clothing was like a long dark grey robe going down to his feet. He did not look like a king by any means. Rather like a poor worker, probably how you would imagine Him in those times that He lived in. And yet He was pure love. Ofc I don't know what other people have seen in their dreams about Him. I've once heard about a dream where He supposedly had a white robe with a purple band around it showing them a staircase to heaven, which sounds very much like from a comic book or something, but that's not what I saw. I at least believe that I saw the real Jesus in His human form.

For me as a scholar, I’ll never understand how Muslims can make the argument that their document on Jesus are historically reliable. The ONE characteristic scholars agree on, when discussing the history of Jesus, is that he was crucified. How can an Arabic document 600 years later which contains conflicting information be the “accurate account” on the historical Jesus.

It’s all about Jesus. The Bible which was written within the time of the Apostles who knew and saw/heard Jesus in which the Holy Spirit spoke through them the true words of God for us called the Holy Bible. I studied World history in Europe. And what I have concluded is this, there was a Judaism and early Christians on rise, now meanwhile, some War leader Muhammad comes and wants to establish and consolidate the Arabs, so he adopts the already knowledge about the God and just adds something this is acceptable to his people(moral values and existing stories about the notion of God) and he makes a new doctrine called Islam. Now this doesn’t mean that the Judaism and Christianity are somehow right on God. But that is another topic.

Jesus is a prophet...not the living embodiment of God in their belief. He can't save you and has no correlation with God's mercy upon sin. Only God himself has that authority. In Christianity, christ died for sins yes to fulfill prophecy but as God himself, he himself has free will so it was also christ WILLING decision to save people of their sins and christ works itself is what did the miracle. Christ himself was competing enough to wipe away sins. Not the same in the Muslim religion and christ was never crucified

The Word 'makr' that you translated as deceit does not have a direct direct straightforward translation in english indeed. Arabic has 12 million words and english has at most 1 million what makes the job of the qoran translators hard. Now the word 'makr' came in many verses in the qoran. I will give examples and than the meaning will be clear insha'allah. First exemple: And ˹remember, O Prophet,˺ when the disbelievers conspired to capture, kill, or exile you. They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners. This verse is in the context of what Allah, the Almighty, mentioned about the plot of the disbelievers and their schemes against the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when they conspired to kill him and lay in wait for his departure. However, Allah delivered him from among them without their knowledge. The Prophet (peace be upon him) and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) hid in the cave (the Cave of Thawr) just before the migration to Medina. Allah then diverted their attention when they reached the cave where the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companion were hiding. They stood outside, but they did not see them. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, if one of them were to look down at his feet, he would see us." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "O Abu Bakr, what do you think of two with whom Allah is the third?" [Reported by Imam al-Bukhari in his Sahih from the hadith of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him)]. Then Allah revealed: {If you do not aid him, Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." They then set out in pursuit of him and stood at the very place where he was hiding, but they did not see him because Allah diverted them from him, as He said: {And [remember] when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.} [Surah Al-Anfal: Ayah 30]. This plot attributed to Allah, the Exalted, and ascribed to Him, is not like the plots of creatures because the plotting of creatures is blameworthy. However, the plotting attributed to Allah is praiseworthy because the plotting of creatures involves deception, misleading, and causing harm to those who do not deserve it. But the plotting of Allah, the Exalted, is praiseworthy because it involves delivering punishment to those who deserve it, so it is just and merciful. Second exemple: Allah, the Exalted, narrated the story of Jesus (peace be upon him) and the clear and evident signs that He, the Almighty, mentioned. As a result, the people were divided into two groups: one group believed in Jesus (peace be upon him) and supported him, while others from the Children of Israel disbelieved. Allah, the Exalted, says about those who disbelieved: "And they (the disbelievers) planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners." [Surah Aal-Imran: 54]. "And they planned" refers to those from the Children of Israel who said reprehensible things about Jesus (peace be upon him), denied him, and even slandered his mother with things that are far removed from the truth. "And they planned, but Allah also planned" means they plotted and schemed, intending to harm Jesus (peace be upon him) through secret and deceptive means. It is said that they went to the ruler of their time and claimed that Jesus (peace be upon him) was planning to overthrow him, gathering supporters for that purpose. As a result, the ruler ordered Jesus' capture and crucifixion, and the Jews conspired and falsely accused him. Whether this or another reason, there is no doubt that they sought to kill him, either by directly trying to kill him when they entered upon him, but Allah lifted him up, or by involving the ruler of that time. Allah knows best. They schemed to kill him, and Allah countered their schemes. According to one of the interpretations, the likeness of Jesus was cast upon another man, which is the well-known interpretation: "But it was made to appear so to them" [Surah An-Nisa: 157]. It could mean that another man had the likeness of Jesus cast upon him. Some say it was one of the leading figures who was eager to betray Jesus and entered first, so his likeness was cast upon him, and they seized him. Others say it was one of the supporters of Jesus (peace be upon him), who volunteered for this after Jesus promised him Paradise. Regardless, the likeness of Jesus was cast upon another man. Another interpretation suggests that "But it was made to appear so to them" refers to the Christians, not the Jews, meaning that the Jews made a claim, and the matter became confusing for the Christians. They believed the claim that the Jews had killed Jesus, but they were not certain of it, which is why Allah says, "And they did not kill him, for certain" [Surah An-Nisa: 157]. This could mean they were not certain of killing him or that they did not kill him with certainty. Some interpret this as similar to saying, "I killed this issue by studying it thoroughly," meaning they did not investigate it thoroughly. They merely heard the Jews' claim and believed it, so they were confused about what happened to Jesus (peace be upon him). The key point here is that "And they planned, but Allah also planned" means that they schemed to harm him through devious and secretive ways, but Allah, the Exalted, countered their scheme with His own plan, which ultimately led to their downfall. This is an attribute that is affirmed for Allah, the Exalted, but it is a form of perfection, as I have mentioned on other occasions. This is because this plotting was done in its proper context and was deserved, so whoever does this is praised and commended, and it is considered perfection in their regard. Plotting and scheming against those who are evil, corrupt, disbelievers, and defiant, who harm Allah's servants and spread corruption on the earth, is undoubtedly praiseworthy and considered a form of perfection. The attributes of plotting and scheming are affirmed for Allah, but they are not mentioned in an unrestricted sense. Therefore, one does not say that Allah is a plotter or schemer in an unrestricted way, but rather that Allah is described with these attributes when they are a form of perfection, such as when He plots against disbelievers, criminals, and those who plot against Him. This may sometimes be in response to their own plotting and scheming, as in the verse: "Indeed, they are planning a plan, But I am also planning a plan" [Surah At-Tariq: 15-16], where Allah counteracts their plan with His own. Similarly, "And they planned, but Allah also planned" as mentioned in the verse. At other times, it may not be in response to their plotting or scheming, but the attribute is still mentioned when it is directed at those who deserve it, as in the verse: "Did they feel secure from the plan of Allah?" Islam doesn't deny that a crucifixion took place therefore people would think it was Jesus, since the Quran said it was made to appear to them that it was Jesus who got crucified when in fact it was someone else that resembled him and the true Jesus got raised up to the heavens by Allah where he is waiting for his second coming on earth. I am American and was Muslim for over 30 yrs. Wudu before morning prayer. Prayed in Arabic, yes I learned Arabic. 5 times a day, fasted during Ramadan. And practiced all the other nonsensical tasks of Islam, and hadiths of the prophet, muhammed. These Hadiths were ridiculous. No talking in the bathroom, no peeing outside in the shade, must sleep on your right side. These rules go on and on. I found Jesus. I am now born again and am blessed by the grace, and filled with the of Jesus Christ! Thank God for showing me the true way to Him. The only way through Jesus! The Bible and quran are very similar in content. The Quran is a watered down version of the Bible. In the name and blood of Jesus I pray that all Muslims find Jesus. The son of God. I can confirm Jesus appearing in a dream. It happened to me. I was raised in a muslim family but my intuition always made me feel that something wasn't right. At some point I started questioning everything. I started reading the Old Testament and got to Leviticus. I read nothing about Jesus himself, only the beginning of the OT, and still he appeared to me in a dream:
I saw an old camera roll, where you can see the individual pictures, flying by my face and on those pictures I saw a golden city with golden people walking around. It was kinda in a cartoon-ish style, difficult to explain. Then Jesus appeared on those pictures and came out of those in human form. He was very tall and floated towards me. In that moment I felt such a pure and unconditional love covering me from head to toe, I could never put that feeling into words properly, it was absolutely amazing. I was breathing so heavily and felt so loved. Then I reached out my right hand to Him and He held my hand with the both of His, covering my hand. I could even feel his incredibly strong hands, solid and strong like rocks. Then I woke up and still had this wonderful feeling for a couple of seconds until it faded away. Although He didn't say anything to me, He said enough. He welcomed me into Him and showed me His pure love, and maybe even parts of His kingdom. I will forever keep this experience in my heart.
I wanted to share this with whoever is gonna read it and hope that it gives you hope. Jesus is Lord and King, praise Him. Amen

Regarding His face I would say that the images we have today go in the right direction, but it's ofc not accurate. His face was rather roughed up, like you could tell that He went through tough times. And yes, He did not look caucasian. He looked more eastern, maybe like jewish or from iran/palestine, something like that with His skin having a darker tone, like a tan. And His hands, like I said, were very strong, like He had worked a lot with them. Makes sense since He was a carpenter. And His clothing was like a long dark grey robe going down to his feet. He did not look like a king by any means. Rather like a poor worker, probably how you would imagine Him in those times that He lived in. And yet He was pure love.
Ofc I don't know what other people have seen in their dreams about Him. I've once heard about a dream where He supposedly had a white robe with a purple band around it showing them a staircase to heaven, which sounds very much like from a comic book or something, but that's not what I saw. I at least believe that I saw the real Jesus in His human form.

Honestly it’s of no consequence. I personally only read 1 version and more than that understand the theology of it because it synchronizes with the other Abrahamic scriptures that it affirms (Hebrew Bible,& New Testament)

You cannot say all of them are the same when one say "many prophet died" and the other say "many prophet lose" that's entirely different. For me as a scholar, I’ll never understand how Muslims can make the argument that their document on Jesus are historically reliable. The ONE characteristic scholars agree on, when discussing the history of Jesus, is that he was crucified. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, if one of them were to look down at his feet, he would see us." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "O Abu Bakr, what do you think of two with whom Allah is the third?" [Reported by Imam al-Bukhari in his Sahih from the hadith of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him)]. Then Allah revealed: {If you do not aid him, Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquility upon him and supported him with soldiers you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah-that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.} [Surah At-Tawbah: Ayah 40].
This is the plot that Allah, the Exalted, devised for His Messenger (peace be upon him) by delivering him from among his enemies without them realizing it, despite their eagerness to kill him. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.} [Surah Al-Anfal: Ayah 30].
This plot attributed to Allah, the Exalted, and ascribed to Him, is not like the plots of creatures because the plotting of creatures is blameworthy. However, the plotting attributed to Allah is praiseworthy because the plotting of creatures involves deception, misleading, and causing harm to those who do not deserve it. But the plotting of Allah, the Exalted, is praiseworthy because it involves delivering punishment to those who deserve it, so it is just and merciful.
Second exemple:
Allah, the Exalted, narrated the story of Jesus (peace be upon him) and the clear and evident signs that He, the Almighty, mentioned. As a result, the people were divided into two groups: one group believed in Jesus (peace be upon him) and supported him, while others from the Children of Israel disbelieved. Allah, the Exalted, says about those who disbelieved: "And they (the disbelievers) planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners." [Surah Aal-Imran: 54].
"And they planned" refers to those from the Children of Israel who said reprehensible things about Jesus (peace be upon him), denied him, and even slandered his mother with things that are far removed from the truth.
"And they planned, but Allah also planned" means they plotted and schemed, intending to harm Jesus (peace be upon him) through secret and deceptive means. Whether this or another reason, there is no doubt that they sought to kill him, either by directly trying to kill him when they entered upon him, but Allah lifted him up, or by involving the ruler of that time. Allah knows best. They schemed to kill him, and Allah countered their schemes. According to one of the interpretations, the likeness of Jesus was cast upon another man, which is the well-known interpretation: "But it was made to appear so to them" [Surah An-Nisa: 157]. It could mean that another man had the likeness of Jesus cast upon him. Some say it was one of the leading figures who was eager to betray Jesus and entered first, so his likeness was cast upon him, and they seized him. Others say it was one of the supporters of Jesus (peace be upon him), who volunteered for this after Jesus promised him Paradise. Regardless, the likeness of Jesus was cast upon another man.
Another interpretation suggests that "But it was made to appear so to them" refers to the Christians, not the Jews, meaning that the Jews made a claim, and the matter became confusing for the Christians. They believed the claim that the Jews had killed Jesus, but they were not certain of it, which is why Allah says, "And they did not kill him, for certain" [Surah An-Nisa: 157]. This could mean they were not certain of killing him or that they did not kill him with certainty. Some interpret this as similar to saying, "I killed this issue by studying it thoroughly," meaning they did not investigate it thoroughly. They merely heard the Jews' claim and believed it, so they were confused about what happened to Jesus (peace be upon him).
The key point here is that "And they planned, but Allah also planned" means that they schemed to harm him through devious and secretive ways, but Allah, the Exalted, countered their scheme with His own plan, which ultimately led to their downfall. This is an attribute that is affirmed for Allah, the Exalted, but it is a form of perfection, as I have mentioned on other occasions. This is because this plotting was done in its proper context and was deserved, so whoever does this is praised and commended, and it is considered perfection in their regard. Plotting and scheming against those who are evil, corrupt, disbelievers, and defiant, who harm Allah's servants and spread corruption on the earth, is undoubtedly praiseworthy and considered a form of perfection. The attributes of plotting and scheming are affirmed for Allah, but they are not mentioned in an unrestricted sense. Therefore, one does not say that Allah is a plotter or schemer in an unrestricted way, but rather that Allah is described with these attributes when they are a form of perfection, such as when He plots against disbelievers, criminals, and those who plot against Him. This may sometimes be in response to their own plotting and scheming, as in the verse: "Indeed, they are planning a plan, But I am also planning a plan" [Surah At-Tariq: 15-16], where Allah counteracts their plan with His own. Similarly, "And they planned, but Allah also planned" as mentioned in the verse. At other times, it may not be in response to their plotting or scheming, but the attribute is still mentioned when it is directed at those who deserve it, as in the verse: "Did they feel secure from the plan of Allah?" [Surah Al-A'raf: 99], without mentioning their plan. Or in the verse: "And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm" [Surah Al-Qalam: 45], without mentioning their plan. Therefore, it is not necessary that these attributes are always mentioned in response to a specific plan or scheme.

My question is if most Muslims who turned to Christianity because of a dream, how do most Christians who turned Muslims convert. Just saying I cannot completely be convinced by an argument without both sides, even though I am a Christian I try to understand both sides of an argument to properly defend my faith.
