This is literally the world where the merchant can sell dirt for a massive amount of money. It all makes sense now Though how do the four lunar bricks appear so often?
This is the playthrough of terraria that actually is the cosmic horror story its backstory implies. It's amazing to watch the entire world fall apart into insanity and nothingness.
In the greatest irony of all, WoS probably wished the merchant truly sold dirt blocks as he claims, as he had riches for ages, yet barely a crimson biome for all his trouble.
One of my favorite things about this series, though it is not needed, you still show a whole lot of the world and changes it happens every time. Sure we don't need to see the ocean turned into something new but its interesting to see what it is turn into.
I am a very old Nintendo fanboy so hearing all these amazing tracks gives me a lot of joy and nostalgia while watching you play one of my current favorite games, especially loved the minish cap music during the end. I also have to say that you are a big inspiration for everyone simply because you are proofing that with just a few tweaks, you can make a otherwise rather repetitive game very interesting and exciting and that commentary is also only a secondary thing and not a must for good content
Just a forewarning a useful bit of knowledge for those that dont know: The naturally occuring walls are what determine if a biome is a dungeon or temple. So if WoS were to get some bricks he could spawn those enemies, as we just saw. Sadly it looks like he will have to fight golem in its enraged form, which shouldn't be too terrible in even hallowed armor but it might prove to be a challenge nonetheless. Main problem will be plantera unless he has some grass seeds and mud (dirt+water = mud btw).
Grass seeds and mud would not work, jungle seeds are a thing. Also, if there aren’t any jungle seeds in your chests, pass glowing mushroom grass through the green clentaminator
This was so neat to watch, thank you :) For Plantera, remember that clentaminated purified Mushroom grass turns into jungle grass. So if you have a mushroom biome anywhere to put the Dryad into for seeds, this could be an option. Best of luck, hopefully that works out ^^;
@@shroovey There should still be some water in the oceans, but water bombs can be used as a backup. Though with the way the world is looking, finding one block of water would probably be easier than finding a large pool of lava.
Personally I think they should make it so right after you get a reforge, the chances of getting it again will be drastically lowered, and every time you reforge without getting it the chances go up a bit. That way reforges you have not gotten in a while will be prioritized. The only problem would be if you accidentally skipped past a reforge you wanted, but that wouldn't be as much of a problem because you wouldn't need to spam reforging as much.
11:15 is that a JoJo referen-- *is shot* Anyway, watching blocks change shouldn't be this entertaining but the jungle temple turning into silver coins made me laugh way too loud. This world is both beautiful and eye-searing, I love it so much.
"The underworld also seems to be silly pink balloon." There are some things you see and think "huh... I never thought I'd ever read that sentence in my life... interesting."
This is genuine so great to look at. I enjoyed your first randomised block world, and seeing it change after each boss is neat. Thank-you for giving us a tour of the newly minted world each time. Some of the combos ended up very visually striking. I notice you didn't spend too long showing us the desert turned into emerald gemspark block, and I thank you because that would have been blinding! I think my favourite part was the random cloud falling @ 12:58 thanks to block physics, lol.

seeing you tour the world in search for hardmode ores in the start of the video has been for sure my favorite part of this series, so interesting to see what all the different biomes have become over this many iterations
i was just wondering when the next part of this would come out, like i just checked your channel, then the minute after i get this notifacation, perfection
The temple completely transforming into an actual spike framework and an inside-out Mint is perhaps the most Terraria thing that this challenge has done so far. I wish I had the fortitude you do to constantly adapt and uphold to these ridiculous rules.
I decided to do a similar play through after seeing your first video except my weapon was being randomized. My world’s blocks were randomized. And boss progression was randomized. Let me just say I had fun but I was in pain. Still enjoying watching this video though!
The use of metroid prime 1 phendrana drifts music genuinely sent chills down my fucking spine. I'm so happy you used music from that game, let alone one of my dad's favorites. Great series, keep it up!

Name your favorite biomes. For me? Gotta be the Hollow Jungle at 2:09 , that shot of the Crown Jewel Burning Underground at 3:12, Deep Dungeon in 7:10, Platinum Hearts at 8:25, The Cobalt at 9:08 and the one I like the most: the Dungeon Planetoid or Base at 12:25, because the dungeons bricks covering most the surface makes it seem like it was all created by the hand of man; even the damn Hell has stone blocks and the dungeon might be a research facility for the Crimson creatures.
One thing I really like about these challenges you do is that sometimes, I do actually have the same idea (or a similar idea). However, I play Terraria on switch so I don't have access to things like TEdit to make them possible.
Wand, I just realized that you could have (although it would have taken a lot of time) is break a lot of a bunch of new blocks, save them in a chest until you kill a new boss, and then place them in large chunks. So, let’s say ur underground is filled with living flame blocks. Mine like 200, store, kill a boss, now all living flames have changed. Then, place your living flames; now, they’re a “new” block to be randomized, increasing the chance that you’ll get something good
For what it's worth, my understanding of dungeon spawning is that dungeon enemies can only spawn on dungeon bricks in front of natural dungeon walls, there's not a certain thickness or block number you need to hit to reach a biome threshold, so it would have been better to make a thin, wider platform of bricks wider than the screen rather than a big chunk where you have to move to one side to get the other side out of sight for spawning. But you weren't there to mass farm so it worked well enough.
He starts with a Zenith and immediately kills the wall, only to realize he screwed up when WOF reroll doesn't give him anything to obtain a pickaxe or weapon
During minute 2 you talked about hopefully a block turning into platinum coins In the randomized world you gave as download (the other one, not the one you played yourself) the wood of the giant trees was replaced with them, which was really nice

There's a reforge QoL mod that lets you target what you want and reforged till it gets it. Legit the only thing that was holding me back from 1.4
