I love your patterns and can hardly wait to start the next project even before the first is done! Regarding finishing and sewing, this is the toughest part for me. I like to pair your written instructions with a video tutorial. When there's no video, I have noticed that you don't necessarily mention when to stuff (or not). Also, I am not quite sure how to determine how long a tail to leave. In this Safari Elephant, for example, do you stuff the trunk (nose) and paws?

Hey Julie! Sorry for the late reply. I will edit the pattern and make it clear those parts you mentioned.
I always leave a long tail for sewing it. I don't measure per se but, I leave longer than I think I would need...I know this is a proper answer but, that is how I do it. I will try to be more precise in this as well!

Can I use. Like red heart yarn and bigger hook? I can’t afford to buy new yarn and I have a lot of red heart
Yesss! You sure can! Using the red heart yearn your elephant will be a big bigger. Also, if the tension of your stitch is tight, use a bigger hook! Red heart yarn usually is thicker then the ones I use!

Yeah, usually I shoot tutorials but for the Safari collections I haven't (yet). Bit that's why I wrote in the thumbnail "written pattern " 🥰
U kinda messed up on the instructions for the head u put in when it should b dec. Just letting u know I know what you meant but some might not read the instructions again same with body
