    i haven't seen anyone do this, admittedly i have only made one search for a mod (i was looking for handle for the 'dish' to become a pan) to this pot but this is a great one!! i do dislike the rigid handle, and all of my attempts at the locking clip have been inelegant and clunky. this is a keen solution!! thanks a million!! another thing you cando to make sure your tubes hold your cable is to fold the fray-prone end before you put it back into the tube, that way there are three 'layers' of cable inside for the tube to grip; also, for those of you watching that do not have brass tubes at home like me, stainless steel straw makes a great alternative!! thanks a million!!!

      I would just use a pot gripper for the “dish “ to make it a pan ! Thanks for your comment yes a fold would work on the ends to make it more secure , I did look to do this with wire pike fishing trace and crimps so anything will work I suppose good look with it , 👍🏻
