Zebra Billy Can 12cm : amzn.to/2DHZAJY
Easy to carry, easy to prepare...tastes great...
What a great camp set up! So many uses with the Zebra 12 and the Trangia Triangle. Thanks for the demonstration.
You won't be disappointed, its a great piece of kit. Dont forget to do a video...
Great video. Waiting for your Trangia to bloom is wasting fuel and time. Light it and slam your pot on. Cheers.
Great piece of kit and Im sure you'll find room for it. Thank you
I've just got a Bushbox Titanium XL stove witch is amazing and also I have just purchased the same zebra 12 pot as you and I can't wait to use it for meals and thank you for your broadcast on your zebra and your meal with your brew and I hope that you have plenty of more meals and brews using your kit 😉👍
Magic Mike Yes I believe that is a great piece of kit, thank you for your comment 👍
You wont be disappointed Sandy, great piece of kit...
Sounds like a neat idea, thanks for your feedback, much appreciated...
Great feedback, thank you...
I bought a trangia triangle a while back, and as you would expect from Trangia it's a very well made piece of kit. As a pot stand it's very strong and very stable, however as a windhsield it's really quite poor. The gap between the top of the stand and the billy does allow even the slightest bit of wind to greatly reduce the efficiency. One thing i'm trying at the moment is using the triangle upside down to see if this improves performance.
Well done Mick. I'm glad the billy/ trangia combo worked out well. The cleaning stick at the end was a good idea. As you said, "improvise adapt and overcome" great thinking!
All the best
Sandy
Thanks for the video, hi from Australia,I'll definitely get this kit, looks better than my pocket rocket, more fun to use.
Thank you, great feedback and like the sound of your different systems. Have subbed your channel
I have the Swedish Army Trangia Stainless steel stove and just bought the Triangle and look forward to using it now with my burner. Thanks for the video .Paul
Nice stuff, am going to initiate my trangia triangle and billy can very soon, will do a video to let you know how it goes ~Peace~
Very enjoyable video mate! Nice kit. After watching your review I ordered the Zebra 12 cm Billy Can. Thanks alot, cheers!
Great set up; reliable pieces of kit! Firebox Stove (USA company) has metal clips to replace the plastic ones on the Zebra. Nice job on your videos, good to see field use reviews! Hope a good soak took care of the stuck noodles. Subscribed.
Thank you for your feedback...
excellent idea with the scraper you made, I always have problems with food getting stuck on the bottom thanks!
Some valid points... Thank you for your comment, much appreciated...
I always put the noodles in the water before I put the pot on the fire. Saves time and fuel in the long run
George Bingham great idea, thanks for sharing...
a good idea is when i use mine a use the billycan lid to put over my bowl to keep it hot the i put my kettle on to clean it out great review and video
great vid, a pleasure to watch
@66yurt I agree, great pieces of kit. thanks for the comments, really appreciate it...
Great video, nice cook set.
So, we’ll likely never meet, and I live half a world away (U.S.), but just wanted you to know we ate together. Well, I ate my taco salad whilst you ate your meal. Funny stuff.
😂
your bushcraft kit is coming along, bit by bit nice one

@g0vqw Thanks Sandy, the combo was excellent and well worth the money (or vouchers). Glad you liked my cleaning stick
Looks like you've got some nice kit there :) And I'm glad to se I'm not the only one to add cup-a-soup to noodles. My friends all think I'm wierd doing that, lol.
@RumbleGuts2112 Cheers for the comment. I agree the Honeystove is a great piece of kit and something I hope to purchase in the future. Thanks for the oil idea, which I will try next time Im out for a snack...
I think that looks like a good setup. I already have a 12cm zebra billy and a Swedish army trangia. So only need to get the triangle. Seen them on amozon for just over £15. Great video mate keep them coming
Ant, Glad it was of use to you, your feedback is much appreciated, thank you... Im sure you'll love it.
@nathanshepherd1 Sounds like a good idea to me, Thanks for the info, I will use it next time Im out... thanks again for all your valued comments

I think i'm gonna buy the Trangia triangle too Mick! :)
Hi Mick,
Just ordered my 12 cm zebra
Sandy
Great visa I have the zebra billy can and i think I will be getting a trangia triangle now
Hopefully you'll be glad you did. Thanks again for watching, much appreciated... Nice to have some more ladies watching too...
Its a great idea. Make sure you video your results and let us know how it goes...
Glad you liked it, just makes life that bit easier. Thank you for your comment, much appreciated...
NIce to see the Triangle in action - I might get it as well. I have had the large Trangia stove for many years, but since the Tringale is on the market, I'd like to get it too to also have the option of a pretty light stove.
Bud, Great video. I own the 12 cm Zebra pot as well and the triangia stove but I have a different set up using the Vargo Titanium stove, which allows me to use the triangia or small wood bits like your hobo stove you show in other videos. I can also use gel fuel, or a pop can alcohol stove so there is more versatility. But, I like the simple nature of your kit mentality and I'm really enjoying your videos. Keep them coming. Just discovered you today and subbed.
i will be makign a pot cosy video soon a device to save on fuel and keeping food hot good video Mick
nice one mick get that billy over the fire on a pot hanger youve made in the woods should be your next challenge actually make that a request from me if you dont mind have a good day
MIke
You wont be disappointed with the Zebra billy can and trangia triangle. Let us know when you get them and what you think of them. Thanks for your comment...
@zednotzee7 Nothing weird about that, makes it very tasty... thanks for the comments
@soulstar1963 Thats a great idea and something I had considered myself. Would be interested to see how you get on with this. Thanks again for your comments
Great Review vid, bud thanks , cheers :-))
@saswales Yes slowly but surely... Its my birthday soon as well, so I have plenty to go on my list...
I have never seen them before your vid.
The Trangia range is excellent, you wont be disappointed... As for the Billy can, I dont know, but Im sure Google will tell you...
I do like the Trangia traiangle and billy can setup, but now use the crusader set...
Thank you for your comment, much appreciated...
@steintanz You wont regret it, its a great stove...
This setup takes some beating, Thank you for your comment, much appreciated...
Thank you very much for your comment and support, always good to welcome new subscribers. Much appreciated, subbed you back...
@lauderdaleflorida Thank you for your kind comments
sorry dude did i miss how much fuel you had to start with in the trangia? Good review! Also is that a flying v set up you have going in your tarp?
Never thought of adding cup a soup to noodles. Genius dude...
I've got the triangle and the 14cm Billy can but I've never used them together yet, love them both tho
Both great pieces of kit...
Of course. it is an British army utility pouch. Very strong, durable and cheap...
@saswales I have been planning a night out foe months, but due to work, moving house and a couple of personal issues have been unable to fit it in. BUT, I have promised myself to get one in before the years out, whatever the weather !
Thank you for your comment...
really cool you are awesome could u make a vid about testing ur hobo stove over night with minimal items
A good video. I have a Zebra 12 inch billycan and several stoves (including Trangias). I have a Trangia Triangle on order. The thought occurred to me that the Triangle could be used for solid fuel in a pinch. A tin lid on the burner holder could enable you to use an Esbit tablet and even a few twigs to supplement it. What do you think?
@MrHatManS Mooorrrrrreeeee... You want moorrrreee !!! Well I hope to do several more in the coming months, watch this space. Nice comment, cheers
@RJBURG Great tip, cheers for that... have subbed your channel
Whats the minimum diameter pot do you reckon the Triangia Triangle could take?
Any diameter you want as narrow as 5 cm.
Use it upside down and put 2 tent pegs through the holes.
@boiledbeefandcarrots Im not so sure it would need an additional windbreak ,as the triangle itself acts as a sufficient shield from any gusts. But will let you know next time I brew up in high winds etc. Thanks for your comment
if you just bring water to boil put in noddles take off fire put cover on then put in a pot cozy for 6 min. then there be no burnt noddles in the bottom
Was debating wether to get 10cm or 12cm, Think I've just been sold on the 12cm, just in case I get extra mouths to feed. Thanks for the Video Jester, I've subbed also. Atb, Trev
Thanks Trev for your comments...
That was another great video The Trangia systems are really nice although I never used one. I just might have to try the one you have. Now I know what a Billy Can is but could you please tell me where the name Billy Can originated. Thanks.
Yeh, had a bit of a dodgy tum after a pot noodle once, so steer clear now...Thank you very much for your comment and support, much appreciated.
Brilliant setup. Wots the name of the pouch, its dimensions and where did u get it (struggling to find)? Thanks
@OldManGlitch Thanks very much for your kind words, its nice to be appreciated. Have subbed you back...
Very nice. Enjoyed your video. You were recommended by Daniel Craig Robinson from Bushcraft Ways. Glad I came over for a look. I subbed.
@gramiton34 Thank you for your comment. I bought both of htese from Amazon UK, so would assume you could also get them from the US online store too... Subbed your channel
Hope u dont mind but iv adapted ur brill setup - replaced trangia triangle with old honey stove, that way u have multi-fuel ability (meths, wood, hexamine etc). Have 3 versions of setup - yours (zebra billy); crusader set; guyot designs 32oz bottle n tatonka mug. Ps zebra billys better (esp on open fire) wth the plastic bits on handle taken of (u can put them back)
nice one should put a tin of tuna in with those noodles,
can I please ask what pouch it is mate :)
@barkingbadger1 Great piece of kit, you wont regret it Im sure... let me know how you get on
@JesterBushcraft ha ha no probs
how do you turn off the fire with the simmer cap already in the triangle?
S S One knocks the Simmer Ring fully closed with a stick/tool, to deprive the burner of oxygen.
Or learn how much fuel you need for each burn, any minor oversight just let it burn our😂
put you noodles in the small pan then pore your hot water in cover in 6 min. it be done puyta towel or something over it to help keep heat in it
@SNAFUALLAM I cant recommend them enough, great kit...
I have the trangia triangle and have just brought a 10cm Billy it looks like it will not fit. Regards Barrie Watson
Use it upside down and put 2 tent pegs through the holes. This way all the narrow pots in the world will fit.
Better still sit the triangle cooker ring on top of the cooker frame beneath with the fuel burner on the floor and it will be able to fit any small cup or pot with no worries 😉👍
Just subscribed
Thanks Harold for your support, much appreciated...
@saswales Sorry mate, if there is one thing I wont be putting in its tuna. I really dont do fish...
Word of warning mate, don't use the Billy can on an open fire because it will melt your plastic clips, I use all 4 of my cans on the meths stoves, much cleaner.
CharlieTango 1 you can take the clips off mate they don't really serve a purpose
Andrew, I don't have the plastic clips, I took them off the day I got them, I was warning other about it.
CharlieTango 1 ah I see
@saswales keep the videos coming, are you planning any nights out,
Personal preference, but I think this is the most used way round...
I have added a zebra pot and Trangia triangle to my ever expanding wish list. Noodles must be a guy thing, I prefer couscous
I have the mug, which is excellent and have been promised a cooker, but we havent met up yet to exchange. But have heard good reports...dont use the gel though...rubbish !!! Put some fire rope in the gel cup instead and use meths... much better !
@strat2206 How could I refuse... Request accepted, watch this space...
It doesnt no, but acts as a lock for securing the lid...
Please sir can I have some more.
