I've got a house of hydro ultra sonic humidifier set up with a 5 gallon bucket and a lid. Its using an 80mm fan and 3 transducer ring and it keeps all of my cloning, and seedling germination, and seed germination up to speed. I've got several tropical plant strains sitting there in vegetation, growing quickly and healthily. Thanks House of Hydro!!!!
Would it be possible to control the mist intensity if you add a VR to the ultrasonic component itself? Then you would be able to control the mist intensity as well as the fan speed to find the right humidity setting for a room or house. The ability to lower the ultrasonic frequency could also allow it to run indefinitely without requiring a cool down.
Great 👍 How much litter water tank u recon for 10 heads kit I'm living in the area where temp goes upto 49C . im using Bore-water will these heads work sufficiently? Thanka
We recommend 27 gallon water reservoirs. If you are using it for a humidifier. Make sure to keep it between 1/3, and 2/3 full. If you have any other questions, please email me at John@thehouseofhydro.com
Who manufactured the tote you used for this video? The reason I ask is because the criss - cross design of the lid will allow for weight to be applied to the lid (such as a fan).
Hi, most tap water isn't too hard, but if you are getting a white dust you can use an inline RV filter available on amazon. They screw right onto a garden hose fitting and will remove most of the calcium that causes the dust. Just make sure the filter is for sediment removal, and not just a normal charcoal filter to remove bad taste.
Hi, good to hear from you. Lifespan is pretty variable with the discs and the transducers. Just to be clear, the transducers are the larger silver piece that hold all the white discs. Typically, the discs last between 3 and 5,000 hours. This can be shortened drastically if you overheat your water causing them to lose their rigidity. The transducers typically last between two and four years or so. This is more dependent on runtime, water quality, and water temperature. Hopefully that helps answer your question!

Thanks is awesome. I'm not a technical type of person, how could I adjust this for my two bedroom 1,000 square feet apartment? My son and I need humidity in that worse way in this place. Can essential oils be used in the water with this?
For a 1000 square-foot apartment I would use a five head or a nine head mist maker, with either and 80 mm or 120 mm waterproof fan from my site. If you have any other questions just let me know!
After making a hole for the cords, how would you recommend sealing the majority of that area off such that most of the mist is funneled thru the actual vent instead of both the hole for cords and vent?
Most people just use some closed cell foam. It's easy to smash into the void of your hole where the wires run through. It fills everything up pretty good, it is easy to pull out and clean if needed.
is there a reason to have the holes that far towards the outside edge and not slightly closer to the center? I have mine marked for the holes being a few inches closer to the middle but want to make sure it's not going to be an issue before I cut
Hi, no real reason aside from the fact that the fogger can splash a little bit. If you don't have exhaust tubes hooked up it can splash out of the holes if the water level is high and the fogger is right under them.
About to set up an 8x8 fruiting mushroom fruiting room with in the next few days. What would be the recommended unit size , and is there a package I can buy with everything I’d need to get it up and running ? Mossy Creek highly recommended your product
Hi, Mossy Creek is GREAT! Love those guys! I would recommend either two 3 disc units, or a 9 disc unit for an 8x8. You can find a checklist of all the items you will need at this link. thehouseofhydro.com/blogs/fog-blog/how-to-make-a-home-or-greenhouse-humidifier-easy-diy We also have an extensive FAQ section here. thehouseofhydro.com/pages/mist-maker-faqs-html If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at John@thehouseofhydro.com Thanks!
They're both effective. Just have your fogger head underneath your output pipe, and don't have the fan blowing directly down on it. Either one works just fine. Thanks!
Hi guys can you advise me on the correct model to use i thought the five head one would be plenty for me but not sure my grow room 13 square mts cheers
I don't think so. If you're talking about keeping the water clean, we recommend using our UV light or peroxide. We have more info here. Thanks! thehouseofhydro.com/pages/mist-maker-faqs-html
Our smallest unit can hold a standard martha tent at 95% without a problem. thehouseofhydro.com/collections/all-products/products/1-disc-mist-maker-with-float-and-spare-discs
Hi, I'm not sure what size fan you have, but here is a DIY article that will walk you through everything. You don't necessarily need an expensive hole saw as long as you have a jigsaw or even a sharp razor knife. Thanks so much for your business! thehouseofhydro.com/blogs/fog-blog/how-to-make-a-home-or-greenhouse-humidifier-easy-diy
Can this be used for a large reptile room, where it would be used mostly throughout the day, trying to get around 65% humidity in a 800 sqft. room. Thanks
Hi, sorry I didn't see this till now. It absolutely can be used in a large reptile room. depending on your air exchange you will probably need somewhere around a five or six disc unit.
Hey man, I was wondering if you could explain in a bit more detail about setting up the additional reservoir with a 7" mini float and a 1/4" npt valve. I've never attempted anything that involves a set up such as this, and i cannot find a 7" mini-float (did you mean the length of the arm on the float?). And how/where (inside or out) to attatch it to the npt valve. Thanks!
www.thehouseofhydro.com/mist-maker-accessories.html Here is a link to our new floats. They are smaller than the float in the video, and allow for smaller applications. They can be mounted inside or outside the water tank. You basically hook your water source to the float via a npt valve or whatever fitting works for your application. The float is attached at the level you need to keep your water at. Hope this helps, John
The House of Hydro Ultrasonic Mist Maker Supply Unfortunately we are out of the float until mid February 2015. You can find the other ones by searching mini float on google.
If I dropped this 12 head unit into a 5gallon bucket would it work? I undertstand that putting the unit too deep into water will reduce the amount of fog. I am running some hydroponics and need to increase the humidity... what would you suggest?
The 12 head is just barely too big for a 5 gallon bucket. You want to use as much water as possible to keep the unit cool, so I would suggest a 27 gallon tote. We also offer humidistat's to keep the level of the perfect humidity, and fully encased waterproof fans. Check out our website. We have tons of info and other products. Thanks!
That's A LOT of fog.. One this size i think would put too much humidity into the air.. you don't want too much or too little. I use the same idea with a 120mm fan and one hole in the lid with a single head fogger unit, and it goes through two 10 liter jugs of distilled water every week and a half or so.. I use it for my woodshop and the humidity never gets too low.. This huge one would be pretty cool for theatrical events and stuff like halloween though. :)
Hey Chuck, You're right, it is a ton of fog, but a lot of people use these for mycology, as well as greenhouse humidification where they need to achieve 95% humidity or more! I think most people do best with a three or five head mist maker for an average size home. Stay foggy, John
The House of Hydro Connoisseurs of fine fogs Will Do! I just picked up the One Head Mist Maker Kit off your webstore. The one i bought was from a local landscaping place, one head, brass discs, $84... I am kicking myself for that... That will become the halloween one, I'll use yours for my woodshop as it puts out twice what the one i have does (200ml/hour). Thanks for making an awesome product and being a top notch guy. Cheers!
Ok, I've got a question for you guys. Does the temperature of the water in the bin effect the temperature of the fog?? I'm going to be humidifying a fruiting chamber for mushrooms and i'd ideally like to tackle humidity and temperature with the same system...Have there been any experiments with this? Does 60 degree water produce 60 degree fog?? I'd love to know!
I'm not sure. The cool mist humidifiers don't put out much. It might be the 16mm one they use. Ours has the high output 20mm, and is MUCH better quality! LOOK OUT FOR THE 25MM UNITS WE HAVE IN DEVELOPMENT!>>> :-) WHHHAT!
Hi, I am looking to use your units to humidify a mushroom grow room. Are you able to put me in touch with anybody using it this way. I see on your website that over 25 percent of people who buy the units use them for mushroom farming, yet I see very little on their actual use. I am in particular wondering if the transformers are waterproof, and if not, what people do with them. As well some direction in calculating outputs necessary to maintain a certain relative humidity, factoring in air exchange. Thanks!
Hi, yes, we have a bunch of mushroom growers that use them. I definitely can't put you in touch with any on youtube. The best way to get a hold of me is John@thehouseofhydro.com. They are the same as using a very high powered cool mist humidifier though. It's pretty simple DIY and completely automatic if you use our controllers as well. As far as choosing the right size, the biggest factors in choosing a mist maker is the air exchange, target/current humidity, and construction material of the room. Unsealed concrete and wood can really absorb a lot of humidity, and rooms with a lot of air exchange can be hard to keep up with. Smaller units can overcome room material after some time, but heavy air exchange is harder to keep up with. If steady levels are needed, it's usually better to go bigger so that you can regain normal levels quickly. A specific sized mist maker is usually hard to recommend because every setup is pretty different, but If you let me know more about the area, I'll be able to help a whole lot more. Most small (closet size) grows can be done with a 3 or 5 disc. Mid size (bedroom sized) can be done with a 6-9 and larger (shipping container) grow can use (2) 6 disc units or one 12 disc. To make a fully automated humidifier you will need the mist maker kit, our 120mm fan(fully encapsulated waterproof fan kit), a humidistat (to automatically turn the machine on/off when humidity is needed) , and our float valve (to keep the water level full) Hope that helps some, John
Hey! The mist maker itself will heat the water, but adding the additional moisture to your greenhouse air will help drop the temperature in the greenhouse, not increase it. It of course depends on the size of the mister that you buy, but you can definitely expect to see a drop in temperatures. Some customers also add ice to the water to help increase cooling capacity during the hot times of the day. Adding ice and dropping the water temperature significantly can reduce efficiency of the mister though. If you need anything else, feel free to shoot us an email at john@thehouseofhydro.com Thanks!
Great video! I'm building one too! Do you think it makes a difference having the in/out airflow on the sides rather than on top? It makes maintenance easier when there's nothing mounted on the lid, so it can be easily taken off. Thanks!
Hi, no I don't think it would make a difference. Just make sure that your fan is mounted up high so you can keep as much water in the container as possible. The water acts as a cooling agent for the transducer oh, so you need to keep as much as you can in there. If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot me an email at john@thehouseofhydro.com Thanks!
Hi, i have a under floor heating duct system that hot air comes out from. if i build one of these units and place it near the vent intake, do you think it will humidify the whole house using my existing ground vents? or do you think that by the time the humidity reaches the heater through the vent intake it will just evaporate? thank you
it will do your whole house as long as it sucks it in the intake. (putting water in a duct system isn't good just saying) duct board will absorb the water and mold over.
Hi, yes it will humidify your entire house like that. As long as you are not injecting so much humidity that it condensates within the ductwork, you will be fine. You would need a ton of fog to do that, you should be just fine.
Ok I wanted to be able to connect them all to one system. But just have an on off for each tank. I have 3 tanks. 2 will be in a 55gal(at full grown there baby ball pythons.) And One red tail boa. Which will be in a little bigger than a 55.
Austin Holtzapple I would say a three would be good. You may have to run a one head constantly. You can limit the output to your tanks by turning the speed of your fan down.
Hey I was casually interested in ultrasonic mist makers just to screw with for a hobby. I am interested in high output. I might just use LED lights strips. Also do you know any that have high mist output that is variable? If not I might just cut the wire(s) needed and run ~12v dc directly from batteries (im a huge nerd)
We have a bunch of different models up to 9 L per hour. If you check on our website store there is a mist output controller for sale. This will allow you to adjust the rate of output. Thanks!
Hi, They are House of Hydro Mist Makers. To make a fully automated humidifier you will need the mist maker kit, a 27 gallon Tuff Tote like in our videos (the more water the better), our 120mm fan (fully encapsulated waterproof fan kit), a humidistat (to automatically turn the machine on/off when humidity is needed) , and our float valve (to keep the water level full with an outside water source) Everything can be found here. thehouseofhydro.com/store/c2/120V_Products.html
You definitely could. A lot of people do. it really just depends on your setup, and what you need. The only downfall to a trash can is that they are tall, and as the water level drops, if you don't have enough cord inside of the can, it can pull the mistmaker out of the water at an angle. With the larger mist makers, this can cause damage to the discs.
@@TheHouseofHydro excellent, thanks for the reply. I was wondering if there would be any problems with fog propagation when the water levels got low in a trash can considering all that empty space between the lid and the mist maker, but I now assume that isn't an issue if this is something people are regularly doing. Thanks a lot. I've already bought the mist maker and fan and stuff from you, now I'm just deciding on the reservoir.
@@hardrightturn7502 You're welcome! Yes, trash can will work well. Just make sure to keep sufficient water levels in there. You can check out our Instagram @theHouseofhydro I have a pretty large humidifier in a garbage can posted there
Hi, check the dropdown menu. They're actually $10 cheaper than that, and $15 cheaper if they're purchase with a mist maker. Shipping to Canada kills us. The 80mm fan kit weighs 9oz, and costs Almost $17 to ship, vs $3 in the USA. We also have some basic waterproof fans that aren't fully encased. They're great fans as well, and are $35 to Canada. Hope that helps some. We are actually in negotiations with UPS that could help us drop our prices to Canada alot.
Hi, good to hear from you. You can find them at www.thehouseofhydro.com shipping is included in the price. We have a 120 v section and a 230 v section depending on the country you live in. If you have any questions you can email us at john@thehouseofhydro.com
Each model has a low water level sensor to turn it off automatically. I also sell auto fill floats to keep your water levels constant without refilling.
The House of Hydro Ultrasonic Mist Maker Supply I can not find your fans for the mist maker and what size head would you recommend for a room 4m by 4m could you also give me a prise on the mist maker I would need I would rather but from you because there is so many cheap mist makers .thank you ger back to me wen you can 👍
Hi, Our store is located at this link. Choose the 230V section for international orders, and shipping is included in the price! Thanks! thehouseofhydro.com/store.html
Most people in Florida use these as humidifiers for growing gourmet mushrooms or inside greenhouses to hold high humidity for plant propagation. Florida isn't always humid :-) It's beautiful out here right now!
Sumit Yadav it really depends on you our water temperature and air temperature that you are blowing in there with the fan. However, if you have a mist maker and a very small amount of water, the water will heat up and raise the temperature of the mist.
It's actually a very dry fog. The water particles are sub 5 µm so they don't tend to collect on surfaces. Unless you're forcibly directing it at something it won't wet it. Check out our website, we have almost a decades worth of customers using these as humidifiers. Thanks!
The House of Hydro Ultrasonic Mist Maker Supply oh really? thanks for letting me know, I was going to get this for aearoponics, thought the mist will cover the roots of the plant with liquid, so this won't work right?
+VanillaSnake21 sorry, I rarely get onto RUclips to check the comments. Yes, It will absolutely work for Fogponics. We have a ton of information on our website about it. Check us out!
Unfortunately, tariffs and rising shipping costs from the Corona virus have crushed us. It was the first time in our time as a business that we raised prices, but we didn't have a choice.. There's more information on our homepage about it if you would like to check it out.
@@TheHouseofHydro That's understandable and it didn't stop me from getting your 8 head kit. It's doing a marvelous job even under Georgia summer sun. photos.app.goo.gl/DuSba9cLMk22YxH8A
Hi! Could I just use a duct fan for the input fan? If I was attempting to use a 1 head unit to humidify a 4x4x7 foot space to 50% humidity, would that be a big enough unit?
It depends on how much air exchanger half. I would probably recommend a three disc unit for that size if you have high air exchange, and lower humidity. It's better to go a little bit bigger and have Plenty, than to go small and have to run the unit 24/7.
I'm guessing it mentions that in the video... The videos pretty old. Since then, shipping prices have nearly doubled, We've been hit with insane amounts of tariffs, and our manufacturing cost has gone up over 35%... We actually tried to eat a lot of those costs ourselves and almost put ourself out of business when the tariffs hit. We hadn't raised our prices one penny until the ship was almost sunk. Probably throwing out too much information, but we really have tried to keep our prices as low as possible.
ruclips.net/video/L5FTCsW9Zu8/видео.html - Finally put it all together... Very easy. Save yourself the trouble of figuring out a fan and just get one off their site. Have to admit, this thing is impressive! Took a leap and got the 12-head and WELL worth the $. I ordered direct off the house of hydro website, which, as they stated, has the best price/value I found. The fog output is insane, but here in Washington, it takes every bit of that fog to get the house above 15% humidity. I have two accurite hygrometers and have been using a hot mister and a Honeywell Quietcare to try to up the humidity in the house, only achieving 28% before I got this unit. Now we're at 50% and able to go higher, but I turn it off around there. The cats don't even mind the thing since it's quiet, and their fan is quiet. And, for the first time in months, I can pet the cat without getting a "zap" from static.
Question - so we've got one of these setup, but for some reason the mist maker quits listening to the humidity sensor and just turns on 24/7. Does anybody know of any troubleshooting tips on this? We replaced the humidity (Ink Bird) reader and the issues occurred again.
Hey Jon! I would contact InkBird directly to ask them about it... They have a good reputation, so I'm sure they'll help you out. It sounds like it's a programming issue with the controller, but I'm not familiar enough with their products to help much.
zit seems to me this would have to be place high because the mist is only going up a certain distance and then very rapidly falling. I need for my plants something fogs the room or greenhouse with a very fine mist that fills the space ceiling down not that all ends upsetting the floor and quickly, sinking. Some of the orchid folks have tried these types and they just don’t do the job...maybe for other purposes they work. Also these would ruin wood floors, make tile slippery and have the paint peeling off the walls and woodwork. Folks think before you use something like this inside your home. You can’t raise the humidity above 50% and I wouldn’t go over 40%. I have lived in Florida back in the 50s and 60s and even where I live now up until the late 80s without air conditioning - I remember the summer grunge of mold and mildew on everything - we had to run dehumidifiers to get the mold down. In my current house of concrete floors - without air conditioning in the summer it smells like a musty sheet. I finally tiled just about everywhere and the air conditioner stays on until summer is over. The rooms that have carpet were sealed and special padding put down. A friend had a hot tub installed in her basement and it about rotted out her house, caused all kinds of bugs drawn to the moisture including termites. It was only uncovered for about an hour a day. In the winter the moisture just dropped off the walls. Humidifiers are great to keep you and your house from drying out too much - but I think something like this putting that much moisture out is for a greenhouse, sealed floor to ceiling grow room etc. Check with an environmental engineer or whoever knows what a house can handle. And if you are renting, please don’t just do it because you don’t own it. If you get sued, you might be paying it off for a long time. I know I’m being a wet blanket but just think before you leap. Nothing against this company at all - don’t know them, haven’t bought from them but have watched these various videos. Most plant folks recommend using a filterless cool mist humidifier I believe in the house.
These are actually the same technology as a cool mist humidifier that you're recommending. They're just higher powered than what you can buy in walmart. It's a dry fog, (< 5 Micron, so it doesn't wet surfaces unless directed onto them under force. No need to mount it up high. Our 120mm (110CFM) fan does quite well distributing the fog into the air. You can also pipe the fog to a higher level if needed if using it for something like a reptile cage. One of the many benefits of making your own humidifier. We even have these same mist makers being used in Guitar Museums, and art galleries in order to prevent damage. As far as I know, their paints not peeling :-) We also have them being used in homes, greenhouses, cigar humidors, mushroom grows, mj grows, food storage warehouses.... I could go on all day. You're correct about the limits of raising your humidity. The max is about 55% and you'll enter into a zone where mold can propagate if it's held at that level for an extended period of time. Thats why we offer a humidistat that can auto maintain the perfect levels for your project. Thanks for watching our videos, and taking the time to comment. John, The HOH

Good to hear from you. The biggest factors in choosing a mist maker is the air exchange, target/current humidity, and construction material of the room. Unsealed concrete and wood can really absorb a lot of humidity, and rooms with a lot of air exchange can be hard to keep up with. A specific sized mist maker is usually hard to recommend because every setup is pretty different, but If you let me know more about the area, I'll be able to help a whole lot more. I would probably go with a 5 or 6 disk though. The 6 is a much more high output unit compared to the 5 disc, and should do well for you if you look to expand, or just want nice steady levels. To make a fully automated humidifier you will need the mist maker kit, our 120mm fan(fully encapsulated waterproof fan kit), a humidistat (to automatically turn the machine on/off when humidity is needed) , and our float valve (to keep the water level full) If you want, you can also add our Mist output Controller to turn the mist makers work load down. This will reduce it from 100%. I'm not positive if this will help extend the life of the unit, but it feels like it should...lol. It can also be used instead of the humidistat if you don't need perfect humidity levels, and you want to save some money. If you have any other questions at all, just let me know.

If you run the hole saw backwards when cutting plastic it won't grab like that and will leave a cleaner hole.
Awesome advice!
Run your hole saw in reverse - much smoother cutting plastics

I want to buy one for a hot climate. Can you provide a link to where I can buy the mist maker?
Why is the fan on top and not on the side wall blowing straight at the fog? Have you tested both ways? Thanks.
They're both effective. Just have your fogger head underneath your output pipe, and don't have the fan blowing directly down on it. Either one works just fine. Thanks!

Hi, sorry I didn't see this till now. It absolutely can be used in a large reptile room. depending on your air exchange you will probably need somewhere around a five or six disc unit.
I bought the 12 head. I LOVE IT! and so do my kids. My house is sooo much nicer with some humidity, and I can't wait for Halloween. :-)
Coolest house on the block with one of our 12 disc models on halloween :-)
Hey man, I was wondering if you could explain in a bit more detail about setting up the additional reservoir with a 7" mini float and a 1/4" npt valve. I've never attempted anything that involves a set up such as this, and i cannot find a 7" mini-float (did you mean the length of the arm on the float?). And how/where (inside or out) to attatch it to the npt valve. Thanks!
Also, I assume this would work in a 10 or 15 gallon bucket?
www.thehouseofhydro.com/mist-maker-accessories.html
Here is a link to our new floats. They are smaller than the float in the video, and allow for smaller applications. They can be mounted inside or outside the water tank.
You basically hook your water source to the float via a npt valve or whatever fitting works for your application. The float is attached at the level you need to keep your water at.
Hope this helps, John

Unfortunately we are out of the float until mid February 2015.
Thanks!
John is awesome! Great guy who helped me out alot! I would buy from him again even if his prices weren't the best out there!
:-) Thanks man... I try
Hey Chuck,
You're right, it is a ton of fog, but a lot of people use these for mycology, as well as greenhouse humidification where they need to achieve 95% humidity or more! I think most people do best with a three or five head mist maker for an average size home.
Stay foggy,
John
The House of Hydro Connoisseurs of fine fogs Will Do! I just picked up the One Head Mist Maker Kit off your webstore. The one i bought was from a local landscaping place, one head, brass discs, $84... I am kicking myself for that... That will become the halloween one, I'll use yours for my woodshop as it puts out twice what the one i have does (200ml/hour). Thanks for making an awesome product and being a top notch guy. Cheers!
+Chuck U. Farley wow! $84!?!?? That's crazy. You can get our 1500ml/hr for that price.
Really impressive.
Yo I know this is an old comment but I'm looking to do the same thing. Did using the fogger as a heater work out?
I am in the same journey
Can blowing with too strong of a fan diminish how much mist comes out?
Hello, would you ship to the UK?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Just check our website!
Are these the same things they use in the cool mist humidifiers? I want to make a tornado simulator.
To make a fully automated humidifier you will need the mist maker kit, our 120mm fan(fully encapsulated waterproof fan kit), a humidistat (to automatically turn the machine on/off when humidity is needed) , and our float valve (to keep the water level full)
Hope that helps some,
John
Hello, I have a question about how much heat this would produce in a greenhouse of about 8x6x7? Does anybody know?
If you need anything else, feel free to shoot us an email at john@thehouseofhydro.com
Thanks!
@@TheHouseofHydro Thanks! I did notice the water getting slightly warmer indeed! I estimate it's in about 7 liters of water at the moment.
@@GrowingGreenNZ What size mist maker do you have? A single disc unit is ok in 7 liters, but you should have more water if it's a larger unit.
I have the Honeywell whole home humidifier, and it doesn't put out enough humidity. Will this work?
Absolutely! Our 12 disk unit will put the Honeywell model to shame!

hello. i'm looking to make an ultrasonic mister for my snakes tanks for when they are sheading to keep humidity up. which would work the best for me?
It depends on how many tanks, and their size. I would say a one head for any normal sized tank.
Ok I wanted to be able to connect them all to one system. But just have an on off for each tank. I have 3 tanks. 2 will be in a 55gal(at full grown there baby ball pythons.)
And One red tail boa. Which will be in a little bigger than a 55.
Austin Holtzapple You can use one main humidifier, and use PVC with ball valves on the pipes to shut them on and off individually.
Ok and a one would be good for it? Or would I need higher. I don't want it to die in 6 months
Austin Holtzapple I would say a three would be good. You may have to run a one head constantly. You can limit the output to your tanks by turning the speed of your fan down.
Hello,
What would be the average droplet size made from your mist maker?
about 5 micron
Hey I was casually interested in ultrasonic mist makers just to screw with for a hobby. I am interested in high output. I might just use LED lights strips. Also do you know any that have high mist output that is variable? If not I might just cut the wire(s) needed and run ~12v dc directly from batteries (im a huge nerd)
We have a bunch of different models up to 9 L per hour. If you check on our website store there is a mist output controller for sale. This will allow you to adjust the rate of output. Thanks!
What is the name of part used in this system.

Wait till you see the Tank I just put together! I am getting the video together right now!
Would it not be better to do this with a big heavy duty plastic trash can? I think it would hold more water and probably take up a little less space.

So much cooler than dry ice!
It's a nice idea but this is dense mist, it would destroy any furniture in the vicinity and the floor will be really wet too.
It's actually a very dry fog. The water particles are sub 5 µm so they don't tend to collect on surfaces. Unless you're forcibly directing it at something it won't wet it.

+The House of Hydro Ultrasonic Mist Maker Supply *air exchange you have
How can it be possible to build it under $100 if you're three headers already almost $100
I'm interested in one of your products right now, do you have any phone number to ask some questions?
ruclips.net/video/L5FTCsW9Zu8/видео.html - Finally put it all together... And, for the first time in months, I can pet the cat without getting a "zap" from static.
thats cool bro
Can i use this in eggs incubator?
Hi, I'm sorry I just saw your post. Yes, you could use mist makers in an egg incubator.
@@TheHouseofHydro Thanks for the quick reply.
zit seems to me this would have to be place high because the mist is only going up a certain distance and then very rapidly falling.

Really depends on your water quality and runtimes. Hotter water temperatures over 100° can wear them down faster as well.

would a three head be good enough for a 10 by 10 room? to achie 30-40% humidity?

Hi guys can you advise me on the correct model to use i thought the five head one would be plenty for me but not sure my grow room 13 square mts cheers
Good to hear from you. The biggest factors in choosing a mist maker is the air exchange, target/current humidity, and construction material of the room. Unsealed concrete and wood can really absorb a lot of humidity, and rooms with a lot of air exchange can be hard to keep up with.
I would probably go with a 5 or 6 disk though. The 6 is a much more high output unit compared to the 5 disc, and should do well for you if you look to expand, or just want nice steady levels.
To make a fully automated humidifier you will need the mist maker kit, our 120mm fan(fully encapsulated waterproof fan kit), a humidistat (to automatically turn the machine on/off when humidity is needed) , and our float valve (to keep the water level full)
If you want, you can also add our Mist output Controller to turn the mist makers work load down. This will reduce it from 100%. I'm not positive if this will help extend the life of the unit, but it feels like it should...lol. It can also be used instead of the humidistat if you don't need perfect humidity levels, and you want to save some money.
If you have any other questions at all, just let me know.
