This would work for any sci-fi tabletop game, Starfinder, Necromunda, Kill Team or you can build one to play with / showcase your favourite models.

Home Bargains gemstones for rivets! I've recently got onto this and it's so much faster than chopping tiny bits of styrene rod

I think adding miniature candles to some of the holes of the lego bar barriers would add some grim darkness to this awesome piece! Just an idea.

Looking good! The lego pieces you used went well with the project and blended in easily with the rest of the terrain piece
I love it. Not just a great project, but a great video as well. The more people scratch-build something, the more it impresses me. I really like the way you reused old materials to make them look like something else. Geat weathering, awesome rivet job! Can't have too many rivets, ever! :)
I would like to offer a tip, if I may be so bold. Next time when you build 'flexible pipes' or 'hoses', like the yellow and green ones on top, it helps to imagine what they would look like in real life, because I think they would be laying flat, sagging over the equipment and walkway. Their current pose kind of gives away that they are bendy small tubes (probably? lol).
It's a silly detail but I think it would add to the realism. In order to achieve the look of an industrial hose, you can use a thick electric wire with a copper core and bend that into the shape that you need. Perhaps even a nice coil on the walkway before it goes up to the tank.. I know I know. I tend to go overboard on this kind of stuff.... but to be honest, you seem to as well. :)

Good idea with packing syro foam i got a 1/6 photo play want do and need toake some industrial looking set pieces

Thank you. Yes, I really enjoyed the switch control box, it was small enough to be the right scale for the build. Laptop parts work well for this size build.

Haha, that's great. That's what happens to me. Something catches my eyes, and I think to myself, wow, I could make such an such out of it. Go for it! See where it leads you and hopefully you will have a beautiful build from it :)
At the price of Lego, I'm thinking it could be worth using blue stuff to cast those! :)
Dollar stores sell Lego like bits now. 40-100 pcs for $1-2.
Yse use silacone mold putty
And use something like JB weld cold
Epoxy adhesive cast out great

Thank you. Not by trade. I collected arcades for many years, buying broken old cabs and repairing them. Repairing PCB boards and Old CRT monitors etc. Pinballs etc. Self taught. Another hobby.

What type of tape did you use to wrap around the tube please? (1:27)
Masking tape - I did not have a narrow strip. It was the standard size tape. So I cut in down the middle for the desired width.
What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Aside from the screaming of my inner child at the abuse of Lego, I find it's too recognisable to use in builds. Great looking terrain though ;)
You call it chipboard but that doesn’t look like chipboard. Is it called something else In the UK? Looks like MDF. The piece looks amazing by the way.
Thank you. Its called plywood as-well. MDF is a lot thicker here.

To be honest, I have no idea, its not something I thought about. Do people buy hand crafted terrain?
Seems really odd to use pva to glue lego to chipboard... the lego is not porous at all and wont bond well
