Does anyone else think the TTT Banner is in for an update? Right now it features Dave's Stormcast Eternals and Jazza's Space Bears, but I feel like it would be way cooler with the other armies there too! Jen's Sisters of Battle, Dave's Sakura Tau, Rob's Necrons and Murray's Blood Knights!
I mean, Dave’s no slouch in Blender, but convincing atmospheric particle effects are always a hassle. Sometimes it’s just better to do it in-camera, you know?
God, I'd loved to do something like this to a boarding actions board. The idea of playing on a chaos corrupted voidship/spacehulk that creaks with life is totally sick.
Because those glues are solvent based, you may have better luck mixing alcohol ink in as the water in the acrylic is probably what made it get all clompy.
I know Warhammer 40k in the title brings the clicks and I understand this pressure that works behind it on YT channels. But I would also like to see more videos about other systems that are not from GW. Especially videos about the miniatures and the setting of Infinity the Game by Corvus Belli I would find super exciting, but I would also be very happy about other game systems from other manufacturers (do you know Freebooter's Fate or The Drowned Earth?). I find the GW systems are so dominant on all miniature channels, and although I collect 40k miniatures myself, I find it a bit boring by now. Your conversion looks super great by the way.

Mini-series suggestion: everyone gets given one of these boxes and has to do it up in their own army style (with assistance from each other). Jazza's Space Bears having claimed one (for hibernating in possibly), Dave's Sakura turning it into a bunker/ recruitment post (or an aid station for dispensing the Greater Good to the natives), Murray's Tyranids planting a gestation pool (all sorts of potential there for mods for the 'rejects' that have come out), and... Going to be honest, I haven't seen any videos of Jenn's Soritas army, so not sure there, but I'm sure something amazing would occur to people.
With very few changes this would work for Tyranid tarrain so easily . I was thinking could u use Sarah Rennie Clarks colour cube to paint a mini . So u could paint a nid with the colours of the sea or sunset
If you want to make any more terrain or even a board in this style, check out Chaos Gate Daemonhunters for some visual inspiration. That game is teeming with Nurgle-themed terrain. Hell, with the new DLC coming out I thought this was a sponsored video at first. Great work as always!
I wonder if adding a satin or gloss varnish to the fleshy areas might've been a good idea, to make all the flesh look like moist flesh, as opposed to the same matt color as the walls.
some might disagree, but i think the fact that GW makes the terrain "boring and Plain" is a good thing as it allows us to create pieces like this, we get to put some effort and work into our hobby and not just assemble it. nice work TTT.
Its not extremely fragile, having some flex, but obviously with any handling you run the risk of it getting damaged. There are a few bits on this that would be fine, and others right across play spaces that would break if it actually saw heavy play

The builds are good. The colors on the bunker and walls are good bu the nurgle flesh parts are so dull looks more dead than that it is alive you need bright colors to see the different parts of wall and flesh. The the models came into the picture and it all looks boring. I get the feel of grim dark. But not the feel of horror nugle blood puss flesh thouse u want to see.
I'm no entomologist (person who studies insects), but I'm pretty sure that kind of spider is of the jumping kind, which annoyingly can bite...so yes, KILL IT! 😆

The green smoke effect really made it look like Dave had dropped the gnarliest bottom burp.

Tamiya acrylics wouldn't gloop up the uhu. The alcohol base of that paint I'm told. Excellent work regardless.
