Anytime I see someone doing these challenges with this game, I always think they should just discount the beginning part of the game. It is after all the"tutorial" stage of things and it's so much better to discount it than giving yourself a headache trying to bypass it.
I love the left hand of gloVa purely because one funny gun hand and also because of how human death works cause you can pretty much obe shot because of fall damage but also if there bodies land in unstandable areas like if they rag dolled too hard with a wall with placed items that will break their characters limbs
you could’ve technically used the two weapons in the dev room where you get the korek charm. mostly the magic stick. its a common rarity spiked bat with paint on it and it has 3 mod slots. and it has 80 durability. the damage is dependant to your level i think

Coming from a 90s gamer, I always loved a challenge as did all of us cabinet hounds.❤ This gave me the cabinet feels, but at home. The "ONLY dev" challenge makes me wanna pick up DI2 now 🤷♂️

Ahhh you said the phrase that makes me sad. Dead Island. 😔 God I miss that series so much. For some reason I enjoyed it MUCH more than Dying Light. Maybe cause it was tropical and sunny and not cluttered and open. Damn I miss it so much. I played both of them probably a dozen times each.
I really like how he discovered goon can kill other goons like I was doing a mission similar and witnessed a goon smack another goon a mile like it was baseball 🤣
On my first play through I made the 2 goons blow themselves up. I stood next to the piles of explosive canisters and right as they starter to slamm I dodged once and sprinted hard. Took a couple times to get em but yea I had run out of arrows.
If i would play DL2 i would miss the radical first person camera shake that actually gives the impression of "oh damn they right behind me" in chases at night
i got the korek charm way before the tower, the funny part is i stumbled in to the dev room after doing the cable challenge. i almost missed the korek but luckely i watched a youtube clip and got it.
I love that challenge videos started in the Pokemon community and eventually made it over to other games. Been rewatching some of Mitten Squad's videos and happy to see one from you now.

@@ColossalKiwi I believe that's where the challenge videos/challenge community for games started. People were probably doing that for awhile before but ik of that and Dark Souls having the earliest communities built around challenges.
@@ColossalKiwi I have some old Dark souls 3 vids on my channel. Old ones from ps4 capture software so the quality isn't great. Had a no leveling run done but I noticed towards the end that 5 boss fights had really bad choppy framerates so i scrapped those videos.

This one dude joined me at lvl2 we cleaned a few places out and helped me get a 250 dmg weapon but I don't know when I'll get the Korek charm it's great one shotting In chases such low level
Sadly i never got a reason to experience all the weapon variety in this game, i played the whole game killing almost everything one-shot with the last hope axe you can craft and upgrade. It scales with your level, i could always repair it cause i always had a lot of money for some reason and somehow it always was WAAAY more powerful than any other legendary weapon I came across. Sometimes I thought of applying restraint and not use it but the next strongest weapon was always like 100 points weaker than my last hope axe

the devloper charm add 500 durability everytime used and it has infinite uses so it really helps
I used it to repair the shocker before the final boss fight 😁 Just didn't feel worth showing since you only get it near the end of the game
That got patched now you need insane amounts of scrap
