- July 17, 2019 brought soaring temperatures into the upper 90's during the day. Shortly after 3pm Delmar Fire Dept responded to Laurel for a reported house fire. The first part of this video shows units leaving the firehouse.
Later that same afternoon severe thunderstorms fired up bringing heavy call volume in both Wicomico County, Maryland and Sussex County, Delaware. The second part of the video shows DFD units responding to calls in both States at the same time. Units roll out of the fire station, some going to Maryland for a tree onto a house and some going to Delaware for a reported house fire.
Thanks for watching!
Love that house siren
God this is such a turn on 😍. I love this. God bless these firefighters. Volunteer firefighters are the best

Thank you!
Yeah , getting that way around here in Oregon , Washington and Montana ( and most likely Idaho ) . Several brush fires around the area . Cool light show you caught on camera ( always have enjoyed thunderstorms in most areas )
Thomas Fletcher Thanks for watching Thomas! I always love a storm but this one was particularly nasty!
Love the lights in the grills, they look like they'll get your attention fast.
Rich Rabatin Thanks Rich!

Trucks are beautiful
Robert Demeo Thanks Robert!
Why are the bay floors blue under the rigs?
ThinBlueLine-204 Usually a combination of it makes the apparatus floor look quite presentable and allows for easy cleanup of fluids from engines that are ALWAYS leaking something 🤷🏼♂️
@@Justslothin ah, makes sense. My guess was to help make lining up straight easier.
Some very nice apparatus
markgloverville Thanks Mark!
The guy in turnout pants at 4:35 -- did he go on a call? Just curious why he's there and dressed, but not on the rig.
Medic Mark The Tanker only seats two firefighters and there were already two people staffing it. The firefighter in the video was geared up and ready to get on any other fire apparatus if needed. There were other firefighters also there and they all stayed at the station to respond to any additional calls that may have come in. Thanks for watching Medic Mark!
I hate running calls in structural gear during the summer. You get extremely hot, and you can suffer heat exhaustion.
What a pussy
David Rogers it’s a severe health risk. Can’t help anyone if your out of the game with heat exhaustion.
Is that a volunteer station
Nvm I saw the sign
N
Wow 98! Just like cali 😂
NorCal Fire Buff109 Just like old times for me. It was like being in Cali and Nevada again!
Blowing an air horn inside the station.....come on
Eric Ruggeri It’s company policy to sound the horn prior to moving the apparatus, so incoming personnel know a large vehicle will be in motion.
Cant use the city service (steering wheel) horn?
Are u guys vol or paid
Explorer 24 Primarily volunteer, with several career.
