Excellent video. Loved it. Inspirational. Yes I believe cyclorotor technology is a huge benefit for General Aviation Aircraft. Awesome work Cyclorotor! Thank you for sharing, really enjoy your videos.
In 2003 I was treated to a tandem flite in a euro built delta wing ultra lite. Ejection motor with shoot and stack seating for balanced glider landing capabilities. Dad was a WW- I I USNA Flight instructor 1939 and retired out Master Chief in 1969. Two of his many thoughts were, one you can never have to much thrust. Two, if you can't fly faster than your head wind he didn't see what the point was. I am saying this for perspective only. I am amazed at how advancement has been made. At sometime soon please. I should hope to be able own and fly one. Thank you for your passion in this field please keep it flying.
It looks like one that I had seen as a child. Black and white silent film. Pilot sat between what could only be described as 15 ft ? cloth and stick WATER WHEELS.
That technology coupled with a free spinning main rotor could be a game changer in the Civil air world. The combination of vtol and, autogyro forward flight would be very economical.
It is nice that your company is working hard with the cyclogyro. You have a great team of performers! It is just a pity that you do not have fundamentally new technical solutions. Of course, you draw very well, but such a product will fly poorly. Your predecessors in the D-DALUS project lifted 250 kg into the air. (What is the weight of your cyclogyro?) Your technology is practically no different from that invented by engineer Sverchkov in 1909, but for some reason you stubbornly refer to other authors from the 1930s, who did nothing technically for the development of the cyclogyro and the hydrodynamics of your cyclorotor. Why such a denial of engineer Sverchkov's achievement, after all, it was he who first came up with the kinematics of your cyclorotor?
I think the cyclorotor is far superior to conventional rotors or propellers. They will displace all the current models going to market now. In fact it obsoletes all the current models. Just my opinion.
not a good idea for evtol. The thrust to power ratio is very low, complexity is high, weight is high, bearing, link bar.....safety issue. EDF with same dimension is more efficient
WTF, looks insanely crazy in a brilliant way
This will be a technology to watch, especially for emergency services vehicles.
YGBSM FGain....The way to invest in the technically complex and power thirsty Cyclorotor is to short it!

Thank you, Jorge! Appreciate the warm words.
More awesome videos to follow 😁

Great comment, Walter.
Thanks for watching!

Oh yes baby it can fly
😁

Are we looking at the next land speeder, would ground effect work with this design
try ducted impeller thrusters instead (output vents with shutters directionally, down, up, back, forward, even sides), radial centrifugal high pressure thrust impeller
the less breaking moving parts there is, the less your system breaks and is more robust reliable
vawt turbine is better wind power source, even on carriers/containerships
unique is not reason for patent
you just said you made the idea work
f the gov laws whatever

They should just use a gas turbine instead of electric motors.
Engine failure....fixed wing have glide capability, rotory wing have auto rotate, cyclorotor have a brick like tendancy to plummet.
