    Listened to you all the way to my last vendor event, and had my best sales day yet! Seriously, thank you. The last few years, your music has been the reason I get off the couch. Hopefully some others can relate: I've been on meds for depression and anxiety ever since I was 16. I'm 35 now and have weened off everything. I'm completely unmedicated and am now fully feeling FEELINGS!!! I never realized that I was almost unable to release emotion while on these meds. But now, the tears won't stop so it's hard to just allow it because I've been so trained to suppress them. I feel like I'm only NOW releasing tears over decades old trauma and heartache. --Also, this episode gave me the push to finally read The Body Keeps The Score after having it on my shelf for over a year now 😝

    I have dedicated the last 5 years of my life to truly healing, going to therapy (spiritual and normal), seeing shamans, body talk and reiki, doing the inner child work and going deep into the painful childhood traumas and I can't even believe the person I am today. I have healed intense rage that was ruining all my relationships and feelings of complete emptiness and deep insecurity. I don't even recognize the person I used to be and I am so proud of myself, healing absolutely is possible 🧡

    • @shandelchallice4598
      @shandelchallice4598 Год назад

      @@amanda-p12 the thing that was most impactful for the inner child work was the shamanic journeying I did to retrieve soul parts. When we are traumatized as a child we leave behind a peice of our soul and shamans can bring that back and help us integrate it. Honestly I've never felt the same since, it truly made me feel like a whole human and forever changed my life.

    After hearing the red bird story, I wanted to try it out myself. I’ve recently been reintroduced to a part of my past regarding a bad breakup. There have been rumors spread by my ex’s now girlfriend about our relationship that are false. Because of this, I’ve began feeling very anxious and shameful over something I know is not true. So, last night I asked the universe to validate that I’m not crazy, that I’m not in the wrong, and that I am strong enough to face the issue by showing me a ribbon, doesn’t matter the color. The very next day as I am driving back from the gym, I pass by a car with two colored ribbons tied to one of the door handles. I couldn’t believe it, and I was filled with the reassurance that I needed. I sincerely thank you Queen and Nick for blessing all of us with your words of wisdom and the music you create ❤❤ it’s really made a positive impact in my life. Love ya

    I can really relate to this topic. Right before the Pandemic my mom died from cervical cancer, I made the difficult decision to take time off from building my business to care for her and watching her slowly decline during her treatments definitely left some mental scarring; adding a few years before that my dad died from lung cancer which was traumatic enough alone not to mention due in-part to his girlfriends selfish behaviours during and after his death. I absolutely love that you're using your journey to help others realize that healing and recovery are possible and we don't need to go it alone.

    I had a severe mental break when I was 22, I literally had a break from reality. Also called a Kundalini Awakening. Scariest time of my life, but absolutely set me on a trajectory of learning self-healing. In that time I intuitively turned to spirituality, and most of the big names in spirituality you guys are mentioning I have gained so much from. Some I have not heard of, but I am inspired to check them out.
    Also I have a suggestion as to why Qveen hates exercise, I have seen her state she is an INFJ (me too) and our weakest of our core functions is extroverted sensing, but this function is also part of why she's an excellent musician/singer and designer. Nick exudes extroverted sensing. It is SO important for INFJ's to exercise/ be in their bodies, but doing so creates a lot of resistance if it is not habitual. I am doing Tai Chi and I LOOOOVE it.

    my hubby kinda jokes about some of my cheering up methods....for music, sad music is my jam when I'm depressed because there is someone out there that has had the same thoughts so it cheers me up. The thing that works the best for me is horror movies which everyone looks at me oddly when I say this. I love horror movies because no matter how bad my day was or my week, etc, my day isn't as bad as the chick being chased through the woods by a maniac with a chainsaw.
    I had to take short term disability earlier this year. I had to add to my medications and I added therapy. During this time, my creativity was at a all time low. I'm doing so much better. I finished writing my first book yesterday.

    Question for Q&A: first off thank you SO much for the Letting Go book recommendation. I have 3 chapters left and it’s life changing! When you know you have deadlines to meet, what do you do if you are losing motivation? What keeps you focused or gets you back on track? I tend to shut down when I get overwhelmed and then frustrated when I realize I’ve wasted precious time.

    I just started on my trauma healing journey, your timing is impeccable as always. Toward the end of the podcast, I started to feel a vibration in my root chakra. I learned that it was Kundalini activation and it was such a beautiful feeling! I can’t wait to experience more. I am so grateful for you guys!
    I was raised to always be kind, whenever I can, and this means often doing acts of kindness without even thinking about it such as holding the door, or putting someone’s grocery cart away. But this week, I tried to think of something I could do that would really help someone I loved, so my mom and I went over to her boyfriend’s place (with his permission) while he worked and unpacked his kitchen from his move, decorated and cleaned. He works 60 hours a week so I had been thinking about the struggle of coming home from a long day to boxes and how overwhelming it could be. He was so appreciative and so was my mom, that I was so kind to offer to help. I am happy I could make a difference because I know how it is to struggle with that feeling of being overwhelmed! ❤

My reply is that I continue to find a reason, and they never realize how sad that answer is, I don’t focus on these things, but once a year or more I will look back and see how I’m doing, checking in with myself, and it is still there, if you do see this, keep going with what you’re doing and never loose faith in yourself, sometimes the sun is just being blocked by the mountain your on, the darkness goes away as you continue your journey ❤

I did a bunch of that with my acupuncturist when I lived in LA (shoutout to Vanessa Ferandell!) and found it unbelievably interesting and helpful with trauma. What would come up during those muscle testing sessions, I would bring in to my next counseling session and do further work on it through EMDR. If you haven't heard of EMDR or tried it, it is AMAZING for processing trauma. Helps by creating new neural pathways associated with those memories. I swear by it. I was so lucky to find a PTSD support group that was super focused on healing and dealing. They would have guests come teach us different techniques for meditation and rewiring our brains. One of my favorite experts was a lady that talked about labyrinths. If you ever travel to the Oregon coast you should look up circles in the sand and go walk a magical labyrinth on the beach! Also there's a website where you can find a labyrinth near you OR if you're feeling really ambitious make your own!!

    I loooove this podcast so much, I’ve been taking notes and journaling on nearly every episode. I’ve definitely had a few divine alignments and synchronicities that time up perfectly with my own journey as a artist/human/spiritual being, it’s crazy. 💜🔮🧿🔮💜

    I just discovered this video... I had to stifle a sob when Qveen said "you are safe" at the end of the video. I left an abusive alcoholic at the beginning of the year (spent 2 years planning of leaving). I'm only now starting to feel safe.

    OMG, yes I totally get this sh$t! Long time Abraham listener. I also listened for hours and hours. I also hated exercise but then fell in love with using a mini trampoline while listening to Vitamins, on repeat. Now I'm working out on a regular basis. I don't know anyone else who gets the topics you talk about so it's great to hear your podcasts and not feel so alone in all this. Can't wait for the next one! 💖🔮☄️✨💫
