Here’s a shift in perspective. My internet is out tonight. Super frustrated and unable to pull up anything on my TV, I was like, “Well what CAN I watch?” I immediately thought to watch this podcast on my phone, knowing it would make me feel better, which it did. And then you proceed to talk about perspective, which you helped shift tonight. Bam! 👊🏼
I want to share my AOK!! A fellow classmate was feeling really bummed because class has been hard, and keeping up with the assignments can feel overwhelming. I tried to give her a little pep talk, but most students have heard the shpil of how to organize time management better. I noticed on her pen she had a barbie doll head on the end, but it was specifically a Scary Spice doll head. I recognized it, having been a young girl in the 90's. Later that night At home I noticed on my altar, laid 3 doll microphone head-sets from the Spice Girls tour collection. I grabbed one, and the next time I saw her, I told her I had something for her! She was so happy, and gave me a huge hug. I just wanted her to feel seen, and maybe find the kindness in the world to not give up on herself.
I really love this episode. I love the idea of flipping your perspective, improving your focus of where you are to where you want to be. I really appreciate your concrete examples that you share. We are all in this together!
I have been binge watching this series and I already feel like I am evolving into a different person every day. Coming from a 19 year old, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you for fighting so hard to get to where you are today because I NEEDED Y’ALL💖✨👌🏼

"Perspective is everything" I say that every single day, and constantly tell people how life is just about perspective, and that's pretty much the main tool you'll need to use to take full advantage. I always have a hard time putting in words how to "manifest" or what I sometimes call "mental training" and we might naturally think negatively, especially when we are in pain ....and we might have to FORCE ourselves to think the opposite. It might help to say it out loud, over and over if you have to. Anyway, I love how you said "tricking yourself in a good mood"

Tried finding the video in RUclips, but I'm late😅 So here's my comment. I recommend the movie Luck, TOTALLY about perspective. My sister actually gave me perspective recently too, because I've been complaining SO much about gaining weight from struggling with health. She said that if I wasn't having these health issues, I wouldn't have changed my life - listening to my body for rest, working out, eating healthier (all my vitamins, probiotics, etc). I was mindblown lol she's so right

For me, the fastest way to change a negative perspective is to call myself out for being judgmental. Judgement and ego are besties. So I’ll identify where/how I’m hanging onto judgment, then see the sameness between what I’m judging (even if it’s myself) and what my ego tells me is better, then judgement disappears and perspective shifts. What do you think?

I turned my trauma into TRIUMPH! I am a walking miracle! Two years ago my foot got caught in a running lawn mower, and it gashed it twice; the Dr's thought they would have to amputate my foot. I had 5 tricky surgeries, BUT I HAVE MY FOOT! and i am WALKING! i NEVER accepted the limitation the dr's placed on me. i know the power of the mind, positivy, meditation, and frequency music, saved my foot. I was in a wheelchair for a while; I had to relearn to walk. but during that time, with so much time on my hands and not being able to move, I reconnected with my favorite things...crystals and jewelry. I had no intentions of starting my own business, but my very supportive husband encouraged me. We are now the owners of LET US GET YOU STONED (100% LEGAL ALL NATURAL) (WITH OUR HEALING CRYSTAL JEWELRY) SIDE EFFECTS: ENERGY, WISDOM, PASSION, CREATIVITY! We not do markets and we just keep getting bigger! Thus, I turned my tragedy into one of the most positive things in my life. I have never been happier! It was gory, horrific, painful, of course. but when i start to complain, i think about the other people in the waiting room that DON'T have their foot.
