Engraving Toolpath Enhancements | Creo 11

Starting in Creo 11 for engraving toolpaths, you can now select individual segments from a single chain and other chains in the Reference Collector and the Details UI Collector. Use the “CUT_ENTRY_EXT” and “CUT_EXIT_EXT” options on the engraving toolpath including the ARC_TANGENT option. You can use the "OPTIMIZE_LINKS" parameter to look for the shortest distance to connect all curve segments. This works for 3, 4, and 5-axis engraving toolpaths, and this workflow provides more flexibility, more consistency, and less clicks that what you'd do in previous versions.
