Kitty and Red Forman welcome a new generation of teenagers into their basement when their granddaughter Leia decides to spend summer in Wisconsin.
I can't believe he can still do the voice. His normal voice is so deep voice
Yeah, you're right, I didn't notice it at first, but his voice sounds even better than in season 8
I can't believe he can go from hot to fez in secs lol. I was wondering how they would work it cause of how he grew out of fez but it's like he never left.
Ironically a couple years ago he said he would never play the role of fez again.
The voice really is the character.
Its crazy he can from a seriois charcter like Torres from NCIS to faz in minutes
Fun fact. The reason why there were cheers from the audience when Jackie appeared is because this was her first appearance in The Circle. She did not appear in The Circle on season one. Season 2 is when she started to be part of it. It's the group finally accepting her as part of the group and not simply just Kelso's rich girlfriend.
Kelso's ANOYING rich girlfriend 🤓
Yeah, it was obvious they were using "license". Remember, Hyde is gone altogether, and he was integral to the circle.
@@rhysioeren3203
Red: Kitty Feed the boy 😑
This was the circle with Hyde in it smh
It’s nice to see her finally getting the upgrade she deserves.
What I really love about this show is, being 40 I can relate to the legacy parents, while as a child of the 90s I can relate to the kids.
🤯🤯🤯🤯 I guess that's how parents in the 90's felt watching the first one... 🤯🤯🤯
Same
That's exactly why I want to watch it 😂
I wish this kids weren't so flat and had a bit more chemistry. I'm hoping it's growing pains as the writers are still trying to figure out what works. I do want one more season but if it doesn't improve I'm dropping it.
@@reynoldmcdenald1310 Same -the new kids Gen Z sucks.. the old show though I think was very very good with casting.. The casting director really makes or breaks the show.. This time around I think they broke the show... but then maybe there's no Gen Z actors who are as good or have the chemistry like the first group. Actually I think it was the casting director and director for this time around who are to blame.. The characters in the new version do not seem to be well defined.. In the first one the characters were EXTREMELY well defined before the show even started shooting.. You knew EXACTLY who everyone was and that's what made that 70s show so good.. They haven't leaned into the 90s stuff enough this time around and they didn't create strong enough 90s characters like they did for the 70s ones.. 🤷♂ So thinking about it further I already think this show will fail in living up to the old one.....
It's hard to believe that Fez and Torres from NCIS are the same person.
HOLD UP
@@lowkeyobsessedngl ?
@@lowkeyobsessedngl It's true. I was surprised when Wilmer Valderrama transitioned to Torres. I was amazed when he became Fez again.
Wait a minute …
They are ?
Holy shit
Wait what?
I hope the OG cast appears more in the next season. I understand not wanting to live the show off nostalgia but there’s so many things they could do with the OG cast interacting with the new one. Especially the connections like Kelsos kid dating Eric’s kid. Like come on Eric and Michael with Jackie and Donna arguing over it and how the feel about the whole situation. So much potential
Also if the show is gonna stick to 25min episode, they need at least around 15-20 episodes a season. Way too short of time with this many characters to have a story or some good character arcs.
Yeah...the show won't do very well if they try to transition to a "new generation". Lightning rarely strikes twice and it's not looking great here. "Meh" second tier cast.
@@bernlin2000 trying to relate to the new generation always fails and is seen as cringy tbh. Ive not seen this show yet though, but it does take place in the 90s. I don't know if that means anything though if they are trying to be "hip"
I just wanna see Michael knowing Nate
It's Netflix, though. They will cancel it any day now.
@@theamavoid "Out of place" not cringy.
“Eric is my best friend” imma take that as he totally WOULD but he respects Eric too much and i respect that
As much as I liked this part it really highlighted how fantastic the old cast was and made me wish the new kids were as iconic but hopefully we’ll get there
Old is gold...but i am really glad that they made this spinoff. I watched it and it is fantastic.
It’s NOOOOOO
I loved that 90s show, it had me reminiscing about the good old days, I'm now 30 turning 31 next month and it really made me feel old lol I think with time the new cast will really get in to character and become better actors themselves
Hey man I still feel like the same kid I was at 13 watching this show, I'm turning 26 this year and it sure doesn't feel that way 😅 you've quite a ways to go lol crazy you would've been 18 when I was 13, that wasn't so long ago
@@KneelBeforetheChief yeah I still feel Young but when my birthday rolls around I'm reminded of my real age lol
Turning 31 at the end of January. This really did bring back some great memories. I remember my sister and I would record the episodes onto blank vcr tapes so we could rewatch them. Crazy how time flies.
Lol, you dont love it, you are just nostalgic on the old show and frankly, the best parts of that 90s show were the old cast, the new cast were cringy and uninspiring, not even charming as fuck
@@watersports1381 ummm sure because you're me and know exactly how I feel and think 🤡 loved both the nostalgia from the old cast and embracing the new one with love ✌🏼
This made me so sad :( Sadder because they're all clearly not close as a group anymore
how it goes
They're not, but they're something just as good in my opinion: old friends, that can always pick up right where they left off 😊
@@veledwin1i don't think so, Fez implied that he doesn't talk to Kelso and Jackie anymore, due to the fact that Jackie cheated on him with her. Kelso and Him were best friends at one point.
@@questionquestion1 thats could be a storyplot they use later on
@@questionquestion1 to be fair, fez and Jackie were never going to last. Weird couple tbh. Jackie needs someone who can set her straight like kelso or Hyde, not fez.
I LOVE the old gang!! 😍
Except they going to pretend Hyde didn't happen..
Fez still holds a grudge against Fenton 😄
Fez smoking with the kids is much needed lol
I'm surprised they got away with a grown man smoking weed with 15 year olds. I think the Asian kid is 14 even
@MPHswayze they did it in the original the only difference is this time it's being played by actual kids. So I'm surprised they got away with them even smoking and drinking and no major Consequences
Eric barely aged
Neither did Fez. It's hard to believe the same actor plays Torres on NCIS.
And Donna looks like an alien. What happened to her?
Leo (Tommy Chong) looks pretty much the same too.
The wig helps
Nah he’s got a little dirt in his eye
This is Gold ! They can actually do something very creative - still with these characters. Storytelling and how it would be for these people to party in their 30s and 40s with their kids and careers and /or jobs. Kind of like friends... 😂
The 90s show wouldn't survive without the original cast
You mean red and kitty. They’re what kept the original alive.
@@matthew8153 no. OG cast is where it's at and always will be. That 80s show failed for a reason. No OG cast.
That is true and I think the producers knew it, but I still like it, is like everything make sense, I think they made a great job adapting the old cast with the new ones and relating the story with them, I am looking foward the second season hopefully soon
As much as I understand why they didn't include Hyde, I really hope we'll hear about him at some point. I wanna know where the writers see his character being today.
Like Jennette with icarly
I dont....im sure the writers will have him end up in prison..
If they had anyrespect for women they would show his gravestone.
This was a really sweet moment in the show ❤️
Not gonna like I cried when I was watching this scene it made me so nostalgic
awww love it watched hole season 1 of that 90s show
Throwback moment 🥺
It’s so weird seeing Fez here after I saw Wilmer on NCIS last night.
I know, right? It's like he's two different people.
I think Eric was the show.. and when he left .. it was never the same.
agreeed.....it's like if the Fonz had left Happy Days. Or when all of the Walshes left Beverly Hills 90210 and that show was supposed to have been centered on them?
since people are saying that Eric, Kelso and Jackie havent aged at all. im pretty sure they are getting confused since that was Fez's flashback and they just put a clip from the 70's show
So do we fez, so do we 😢
Thank you so much for an early morning laugh 😂 ❤
Sooo the best clips of that 90s show is from that 70s show
Like every revival.
When I watched this show years ago, I didn't understand why they were laughing or talking nonsense around the table.
Today I'm like oh for that's why...
My innocent self died 🤣😂
All those were the funniest moments in the circle. Lol
This show has potential. Maybe if it succeeds we will get a That 00's Show in 10 or 12 years
"A wannabe American Idol auditioner falls for a pop-punk boy with frosted tips"
Donna hit the wall hard
That's just what happens when you lack any melanin to speak of. Combine that with being female and of course you won't age very well. That's natural.
I realize why hyde is not part of the show and I'm fine with it . But I still think they could have addressed his absence like prison or maybe he died . anything but pretending he never existed when we all know he did ( hyde not danny) I was really expecting to hear that he died some how .
When they first announced the show and before we knew any details, I assumed that most of the old cast would be back as regulars or semi-regulars and that the plot was probably going to be everyone reuniting for Hyde's funeral.
Its probably easier to not touch on it.
It would be a mess either way. If you kill the character people gonna be mad for you letting real life events to influence the story (the actor has some r*** charges for those who dont know) and if you just show him people gonna be mad because you are showing a possible r***st. The best choice absolutely is to dont adress it either way and if the actor is either innocent or guilty after the final veredict then you decide what to do in the show.
I’ve only just watched that 70s show I’m on season 2 and I just hate Hyde he’s not a good friend the only good thing he’s done up to now is take Jackie to the prom he’s a c u next Tuesday
@@football_kithistory5111 Relax.
The pilot episode was entertaining. Lots of nostalgia and it was different. Red still has it. But man, I found a tad bit sad that Eric and Donna didn’t reunite with Michael and Jackie even though Michael lived so close. It’s sad because that’s it usually goes. I live across across the states and visit my parents and family maybe once a year for 10 days, and sometimes I’ll forget that I have friends I want to see but end up not seeing them.
Fez said Eric is his best friend. We better get some best friend moments next season!
The best scenes are when the old cast is there. I hope it does get better and the new kids can ''carry'' the show. I watched it one sitting but I have my doubts :(
The best scene was when Jay Kelso oiled himself up.
I felt the kids cast was picking up momentum in their chemistry towards the end of the season, I definitely see potential there, it’s hard to strike lightning twice in terms of cast chemistry but I think with another the season the new kids will definitely feel more comfortable on set
ya feels empty without hyde tho.
new kids have zero chemistry or charisma or...charm like the og cast. i regret watchin. 😆😔
@@iApollo722 I wonder how they'll bring Leia back without fast forwarding to the next summer? I suppose they could kill off Eric and Donna...but that might be too heavy for a comedy show.
@@DavidLS1 .... or the simple answer is to just have her come back the next summer. First season takes place in 95. So we could see 5 seasons to cap out the last few years leading to the final episode going from 99 to 00. Don't know why you had to take such a dark turn just for her to be in the show.
Hyde was my favorite character and I wish they acknowledged him or tell us what happen.
In the late 90´s I had a crush ion Donna. She was gorgeous, she played basketball with her boyfriend, she was funny and smart.
It's 2023 and I still have a crush on Donna she looks fantastic
@@MPHswayze fantastic? Actually I don't think so, unfortunately it seems that drugs hit her hard throughout the years and her face shows it...
This was a cute throwback scene in the series
The last two episodes were directed by Laura Prepon can you tell?
To see Mila Kunis as Jackie in this scene is like night and day...being that Jackie is so far removed from who Mila Kunis is in real life.
ep 1 was great, ep2 not much, ep3 and onwards were thoroughly enjoyable. hope future seasons get even more better.
I thought episode 2 was great personally. Especially the Leo stuff I found it to be some of the funniest shit the show had to offer
so powerful!--this is soooooo nice ! tv for me is death..but this ! am back ! wow respect love
Donna hit the wall hard! 😂
I think the first season of That 90's Show was intentionally short to gauge how audiences would take the spinoff. Since Season 1's been a hit, it's much easier for Netflix to decide to green light a full blown season's worth of episodes for Season 2 onward.
Since Season 1 takes place in the summer of 1995, I am hoping the writers for the show don't do what they did with That 70's Show and creatively write themselves into a hole by having to stretch out 3 real-world years (May '76 - Dec 1979) into 8 seasons. There's a ton of cultural/social events between 1995-2000 they can write plotlines around or make references to.
Season 2 can start with the Macarena dance being a huge thing since it took off between 1995-1996, for example.
They had to start the series in 1976 so the trends that defined the decade had been established. They probably could have started in ‘75, but what are you gonna do. The timeline was still pretty fucked up. Like, how many Christmas episodes did that show have. I remember they had a Christmas episode in ‘79, then aired a whole other season. I think their are more important things they could go with than the Macarena. Maybe as a one-liner, but nothing more than that.
Streaming networks typically only do 8-10 episode seasons, especially for comedies. If this was on FOX like the OG series, they might have ordered more episodes. As is, Netflix probably won't expand the episode order moving forward
Any mention of hyde .. that was the best character
Yeah with all the stuff that's currently going on with his actor I don't see them mentioning his character again for a long time
Maybe if he beats his case he'll return in the next season
No.
@@travtagonist3 This is absolutely not what will happen. Doesn't matter what the results of his case are, the producers know that the public knows Masterson is a rapist.
Being from Wisconsin that's 70s show was always something we could take pride in.... This show didn't let us down I loved it. Not enough polka though 😂
they did hide hyde lol
Everyone just forgets Wilmer Valderrama's very creepy history with underaged girls...
Masterson isn't the only creep on that cast.
Good day! I said GOOD DAY!
I assume since Hyde's actor is in some serious stuff in RL I imagine any scene that had him in it is going to seem like he never existed?
Yeah, he's a Scientologist scumbag.
This scene made me cry tbh!
Dona looks so old Holy gawd! And Eric looks the same like he is a kid. While fez, jakie and kelso only look a little aged.

@@__unknown___ Yet still Donna looked waynolder than the other guys. Ofcourse they would all look different today
Ohhh man we need hyde even tho he going thrue some bad shit but damn that would have been cool seeing him there.
Glad we got to see Donna and Fez in the same frame but this flashback still isn’t as good as seeing them all together. I’m sure it’d be really difficult but I hope we actually see a reunion of the whole old cast.
I am 38 and watched "That 70s show" and recently "That 90s show" and I hope there is a second season for it 🙏🏻?
I thought 90s show ended up better than advertised. I really like the...asian?.... girlfriend of Nate and it's the only character who's name I can't remember right now. The goofy neighbor is cute too
Have they tried to explain where Hyde is?! 😬
Remember there were “at a school reunion in the future” scenes in the original series, Donna was married to Hyde, and Hyde couldn’t attend because he was in prison
Hyde was one of the best characters, it’s a shame what happened
Rape allegations (either real or not) is no joke. It doesn’t matter if you did it or not, once you are accused, it is over.
@@marksantiago9841 I 100% agree especially as the case is scheduled for a retrial.
I suppose by briefly explaining Hyde’s absence, they’re just explaining the fictional character’s absence rather than making any reference to the actor Danny Masterson himself
They don't even try to address it, they ignore him completely. He never existed.
They’ve already said that Hyde will not be mentioned at all due to Danny’s rape allegations
Mila literally de-aged somehow. She legit looks the exact same as she did. And Eric too.
These are literally cuts from the original show.

Donna aged HARD
Not as hard as Laurie did.
@@DavidLS1 arent you the gay 40 year old man who was hitting on an 18 year old like 5 comments up? Yea thats you
I think they should have addressed Hyde don't punish the character as he was a vital character and made the core group. Each of them made that 70s what it was including the parents. Let Hyde live on maybe moving to Chicago head of his dad's record company with his sister. He was like their 3rd child. Please mention Laurie or even better bring her on second season.
