We need one on suspension setup - like in real life - not on a whiteboard. Like video a car going over bumps/whoops and then break down the slow-mo, make appropriate changes, and then do the slow-mo again. Same thing with adjusting your sway bars too - This would be so helpful so we can make the most of your kickass suspension!! Stoked AF for my new billet race rack! I'll then own a full Shock Therapy Car!!!
You guy rock! Just ordered a spring kit for my xp 1000 last week and I can’t wait to feel the difference. As an engineer I appreciate your commitment to sharing the technical knowledge of how why the products you make are superior.
I brought my brand new pro XP in there to get the RIS done couple of months ago, I just went out and looked at it and you guys did put the Shock Therapy spring dividers on it. so far no scratches on the body. can't believe that those shocks have 300 miles on them. And that he brought them to you in that dirty condition. Just looking at the Shock body wear you can see he does not clean his car very good.
What about using a fabric shock cover to protect the slider? Any benefit? Already have the dual rate on my XP1000 (Love them!) and hoping to limit wear...sorry, guess I spoke before you finished...
You said all your spring kits come with new dividers? I'm pretty sure mine didn't. But, I order mine back a little over a year ago. So, not sure if these were added to kits, but dang I may have to order a set of yours. Mine are rubbing thats for sure and im consistently checking and cleaning, lol. I know I'm a little late but good video.
Not all spring kits come with new dividers. Only the kits on UTVs that have cheap dividers stock. Like a Walker kit. But we also made this change within the last year or so. If your dividers are worn then buy some for sure. 👍🏼
something that didn't get discussed Bottom out bumper stops Can you replace them by removing the bottom mount Or do you have to disassemble the whole shock Do you sell them separately I'm looking for orange 2016 rzr xpt rear fox 1400 miles Garage kept but Full of cracks hopefully the ones I buy last longer If you don't have them in Orange do you know someone who does
You can replace them that way. Only issue is they are lock tight on so you have to heat up the lower loop enough to melt the lock tight but not enough to ruin the anodizing. We usually take the shock apart and remove them from the other direction. We do sell them just call the shop and we can facilitate for you.
Would doubling up on seal savers meaning (stacking on top of one another) for the trail rider be beneficial to avoid debris in the divider and not retaining heat at the same time
We have many pictures of their spring kits on shocks that come through here with wasted shock bodies that we are replacing. We just don’t do any negative promotion.
You guys install my spring kit with internal valves Not going to lie it was like day and night difference on the ride quality. After that it damage my body shocks. I just purchased a turbo R I am questioning if I should take it back to you guys because I don’t want to damage my shocks
As I mentioned in the video there are many reasons that contribute to body wear. Most happen when it’s still stock. Most are improved with our parts. But on your pro R, it has stainless steel body sleeves factory so you won’t get any body wear. 👍🏼
Hi, great video as always. I just got my dual rat spring kit from you guys for my 22 pro xp ultimate. I haven't got a chance to install it yet. After I get them installed and possibly have to readjust the preload nuts to change the ride height, do I have to readjust the crossover rings location as well, or will those stay at your original measurement from the top of the shock body? Thanks
Most of the time you don’t need to change them but you always need to check them. A lot of factor go into that. Our video instructions will go over that process as well. Good luck! 👍🏼
How much body wear is too much? My RS1 (with your spring kit) measures about 3/64 deep at its lowest point. Do you just run them until they blow out? How thick is the body material?
What about PTFE or silicone spray lube? White lithium grease or WD-40 I assume are no good, but is there something that would help? I've been using the PTFE for a few rides and it seems to do the job, the sliders were sticking and not sliding before I sprayed them after a few rides on the new shocks I got back from you a couple months ago. 2020 KRX1000
Almost all lubricants can either attract dust and dirt making worse or create a paste. Or cost too much to continue all the time like graphite. If it works for you then continue but constant cleaning is needed. 👍🏼
@@ShockTherapyllc I do spray and let dry, then ride till I see it is dirty 100 miles or so, give it a power wash and reapply when dry. I made a vid of it, search; KRX1000 Shock Therapy silent x overs. I must have had sand in them before I sprayed because the x overs were not moving at all, so not so smooth ride. I thought the KRX was good stock, but sooo glad I had you do the shocks and springs, the ride is amazing (once I figured out how to adjust them, higher is not always better), rides nice just past half way on the dial. Thanks for great products and informative vids
You compared old springs with your new springs for the level example. I sent my shocks to you for rebuild and new springs. Why didnt you relace my calars or inform me about this info about the colars as well. You just said colars are included. Kind of the same as the exploding top out noise. Your answer, buy our limit straps. Great marketing guys but not happy at all with your product or service!
We do try to educate as much as we can when it comes to parts/services and what they do for the vehicle. If something was miscommunicated we apologize for that. Give us a call at 623-217-4959 or send us an email at sales@shocktherapyst.com so we can look into your setup and see how we can help out.
Never ever would have thought I need to wash my shocks lol that’s why I love these videos 😂

Thank you Josh. Can’t wait to hear your opinion on the spring kit. Your going to love it
I have wear on my body with yalls springs, I just assumed it was just part of riding hard. Glad to know for sure it’s just a typical thing👍🏻

your reservoir extensions have been holding up great
got several compliments also
love your videos guys thankyou

Good idea. If you keep debris from getting in on top that may help
so i got the spring kit and your dividers for my krx 1000 how do you get the stock dividers off
How is it that Shmitty doesn’t have shock body wear problems?

Schmidty racing is the best, I’d take your shocks to Diddys house and rub them with baby oil before I’d go to Shock therapy

and those are badass

My walker evens have bad wear how expensive is a new body
Give the shop a call. I don’t think they are much.
I live in South Carolina are yall still coming to North Carolina if so when
@@alexjones549 yes Huntersville. But probably not completely set up til Feb 1st.
You checked the tall red spring for level where it ends. Turn it some and check it again. This is misleading.
worth the coin
shock wear isn't anyone's fault or shock maker. tight tolerances and mud in the walls is gonna wear the bodies. Those liners will change all of this.
A single spring conversion eliminates this issue
BUSTED......
Clean our shocks…pffft😤 blasphemy😂
