CU Jagan starts speaking: "I have been there only once and that was for a Youth Festival. That is the only connection I have behind the Iron Curtain". SV newsreel cameramen (for the following question). "How do you feel about Mau Mau. Perhaps you would say?" CU Jagan starts speaking: "Mau-Mau is a terrorist organisation and we do not support terrorism. But I would say that the people in Kenya and in other parts have their problems, many problems, which have been created by British Imperialism and these problems will have to be solved."

More like one, both Jagan and Burnham used race to get votes, I do not deny that Jagan spectacularly dropped the ball with things like not joining the West Indies Federation, but Burnham also isolated the Indian population with his authoritarian rule in the 70s and 80s
