Great White is prominent in all of my workout playlists. Their music never gets old. Proud to say that my 23 year old son is also a huge fan! He has good taste in music, like his mom and dad :)

Their music works when travelling as well. It's like it's made to be the soundtrack of the highway.

Jason, thanks so much for getting Audie on here!! Audie is a fucking beast and one of THE most under-rated drummers there has ever been!! GW has been one of my top fav. bands since the early 80's and they were one of the best bands during the so called hair metal era. they were legit and if i remember correctly one of those bands that recorded in the studio as a band-right off the floor-as a band! each one of them a VERY good musician in their own right. you wanna hear some killer bass drum work-listen to "Highway Nights" just to start! These guys could and can play! as a band these guys were total ass-kickers and the bullshit hair/glam label was the farthest thing from them- it was ALL about tasty blues-based rock & roll-period! and these guys did it as good or better than anyone during that era, and even into as late as 2007 and the release of "Back to the Rhythm" if memory serves me correctly. now granted, for me there is only one Great White and that's with Jack, Mark, Audie, Tony and Lardie, and i totally respect what both parties are doing these days- i really do, BUT, that line-up is were the magic was, that's where the true chemistry and the song writing was. I listen to EVERY single new release from all parties, and even though it's all pretty good, it still lacks that original chemistry and magic and song writing, and i hate that for everyone and mostly us fans because more than likely it will never be that classic line-up for all the reasons told and untold, but that's life and that's the music business and shit happens sad to say. but man when i drop the needle on ALL of those many classic albums back to about 2007 it all still holds up and is fresh and still puts goosebumps on my skin. with that said, with that classic line-up, that was one of the best bands around-period! for the newer fans and listeners, forget about the remake of the track "once bitten" , as great as the remake is , your totally missing the very BEST of material, up to 2007 there was NEVER one bad album, and every album was all killer and no filler and i truly feel that strongly about the song writing- it was that good! b-sides and deep tracks and all of it- it was that fuckin' good!!! thanks Jason

Audie is a monster of a drummer. Been a fan since ‘86. Great White always had such a great rhythm section. My son caught a drumstick last summer from Audie…

One of my all time fav bands. Every album rocks. Once Bitten is a time machine. I was 18 fresh out of high school and not a care in the world. Great time to be young. Jack is absolutely one of the great hard rock vocalists. Mark is so underrated amazing guitarist.

I'm a Jack Russell fan 100%, I understand where Audie is coming from also. Great White and Skid Row are in the same boat IMO. Both band had huge success with one singer and that magic, more often than not only happens once. Good luck to Great White and Jacks Great White.

I was a young drummer in the late 1980s and I liked Audie's playing. Controlled, solid and he had a good feel for the right types of fills to put in. I only saw the band live once with Whitesnake in 1986. Dude has aged well. He is the type of drummer that other drummers appreciate, but the average musician may not pick up on. Kind of like Alex VanHalen. I'm trying to get my current band to do Lady Red Light, but the singer is not having it... not easy vocals! You won't find many cover bands doing GW songs for this reason.

Audie Desbrow. When I was an aspiring drummer back in the day - late 80's - he was one of the drummers I looked at, and listened to in order to improve my abilities. He had a certain style that really spoke to me, most significally his crash cymbal fills over the snare and his way of making good and effective use of the toms. I still listen to his playing to this day even though I gave up playing myself. And to this day his pålaying does still inspire. So does the music of Great White.

Sad they couldn’t get along & Jack has his issues.
Psycho City & Let it Rock are two great albums 🤘🏻
Watched a video of the new singer . He’s really good. Best replacement for Jack. He nailed Stick It & done the other songs justice. Glad they are doing Big Goodbye live.

Normally I would 100% agree with you but in my honest humble opinion Jack just can't quite do it anymore. He tries really hard but it's just not there anymore his health issue's stole his voice from him it's truly sad. I'd love nothing more but to see Jack back in the band but I don't think that's possible anymore

To comment on the horrible club fire incident. It seems as if they are blaming jack for it. Wasn’t his fault either. Blame the fire marshal and the owner of the club for some stupid reason had the side door chained up and was only one way out

At the 29:00 mark, dude he says he was envious that they were out playing without him. Remember that remark….and stop with the Mark Kendall was out to help them sell tickets. BS. This was 2003 when these small town 400 capacity rock clubs were what these bands were playing. They would have a bunch of local shows, and every so often a national act would come thru…..so the shows sold no matter what, because that’s when people got to see a rock show. Most of these clubs were located long distance from the city, so a big time tour bus pulling into your small town to play a rock show was a big deal. These guys that were playing arenas just 13 years prior are coming to your small town to play a show in front of 400 people. Nobody has ever said they were promoting the show as Jack Russell’s Great White featuring Mark Kendall. So every time he does interviews going on how he wasn’t even suppose to be there, he was just there to help sell tickets, me-me-me BS. Did Mark Kendall have anything to do with setting up and off pyro….no. But he needs to stop (even all these years later) with the he was just there to sell tickets. Jason, you’ve made you living in the music business and behind the scenes, you know exactly what I mean. Tell it like it is……he was there because he needed a gig. Not a lot of people ringing his phone that they needed his guitar licks as part of their band., Audi just said he was envious they were playing. I bet had his phone rang to do that tour, he def would have been there, just like Kendall was. This is what these guys do, there is nothing wrong with that, nothing what so ever. But for once and for all, he wasn’t there to “help sell tickets”, he was there because it was a gig.
