Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, if you are in a position to, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. "Holiday" is one of those concepts that have more than one signed version. The two approaches to "holiday" are: 1. Use the "vacation sign." See: ruclips.net/video/V81liG2gQbo/видео.html 2. Use the "Hollywood sign." See: ruclips.net/video/fWszfb42MX8/видео.html Since you may see either version used in the Deaf Community you need to consider: 1. The context (the overall concept of what is being discussed) 2. The mouth movement (if used). Some Deaf mouth certain words / others don't. If you are signing with someone who does then make sure to pick up on any mouth morphemes or clues from the shape of the mouth -- if available. - Dr. Bill

Nobody in the crew answered "Watch Football" for the Thanksgiving question?
a couple classes ago they mention that the class only had one boy. I'm still surprised, but I guess they're living up to their gender stereotypes 🤷🏼
