I discovered this method by accident way back on Thanksgiving of 1997. I had just got my first turkey fryer and had boiled my taters for mashing. I grabbed one as a snack, but accidentally dropped it into the fryer while I was out checking the turkey. Lol! We've had them at least once a week since. I decided to search "deep fried whole potatoes" just to see if it was actually a thing. Apparently, it is!
Your dog barking at the end nearly gave me a heart attack...well, that and all the deep frying I've been doing lately. Enjoyed the video. Agree with the person who said that you talked too much. A simple explanation during your video would have sufficed.
+Jared Brumfield If you're deep frying, you want at least 375. They no longer manufacture fryers that go to 450 due to liability issues, but 375-400 is your deep fry. Keep in mind, the job isn't getting them "greasy," but getting the water to exit as fast as possible. That's what frying really is.

Clever
Ya, they looks good and crispy! I'm not a fan of potato skins, so this to me is perfect! I get the crunch without the skins! Thank you!

I don't think he talked to much. I agree that he wasn't getting to the main things quicker but at least he explained everything.

Why did you peel the potatoes
This has to be the most basic deep fries anything ive ever seen. Smh
there is a reason why they cut them into fries, too big of a potato and you will get a wet and moist inside instead of a crispy inside
