The writers knew EXACTLY what they were doing when they wrote this in. They could've gone all scientific, with anatomical terminology. But no. Instead, they use "head and heart." The moment Clarke (the head) dies, there's no one left to tell Bellamy (the heart) how to make the hard choices. When Clarke dies, Bellamy loses his compass.

@@luciarosace8735 it's not like the fandom is 100% Bellarke shippers. There are still Clexa shippers no matter how derailed that train is, etc.
And I feel like if the writers were to ever make it happen in the series, then we're a little too far beyond that point with just one season left. But who knows? I won't say it won't ever happen but I feel like it's unlikely at this point.

That's not exactly true, stydia didn't get together until the last season, Simon/Isabelle didn't get together until the finale episode. Bellatke has been built up, they have a journey, just because they haven't gotten together yet doesn't mean they won't in the last season. It'll be a slap in the face if their not to the fans of the books considering they were the main couple in them, there was no Finn or Lexa, Clarke was also 100000% straight. Bellarke is endgame, if becho is it'll make zero sense, becho don't even act like a couple, bellarke does though lol
