Yes! Local elections ARE important! They impact your daily lives the most. I always research candidates before voting. We had an attorney running for judge who was on her third sanction! I voted for the other guy, lol.

This is not surprising because DC is a very progressive town. If we look at the conditions that existed on the slave plantations in the antebellum south we will find that the same conditions exist in our minority communities in our most progressive cities. So, it is not surprising that our minority community fines disparity in DC because we find this pretty much universal across-the-board and most of our democrat run progressive cities.

The fact that this injustice and criminality is coming from DC is not shocking. We generally see this across the board in the vast majority of our democrat controlled progressive cities. If we look at the living conditions of slaves on plantations in the antebellum south, we see that the same conditions exist in the minority communities of our most progressive cities. Researchers have identified these conditions and they include violence, lack of education, lack of housing, or lack of hope etc. The fact that these conditions exist in DC is not surprising at all. If we look closely at the data and try to separate hard statistical data from political emotion we will find that, “we have met the enemy and he is us”.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have an honest president? Liz Cheney for PRESIDENT! I realize that I'm speaking out of context, so I must add ; George Floyd , Black lives matter. Republican....lives matter too I suppose but it hurts to admit. Im very aware of the irony of Liz being a republican.
Unless you disagree with all republicans are doing, cheney voted with Trump 99% of the time and she's still voting with republicans on every single issue.
