fun fact: when you have fun drawing, you draw more, when you draw more, you get more experience, when you get more experience, your drawings look better, and when your drawings look better, you have more fun.
Whether you've never used watercolors or you've been painting for a while, I feel like you need to hear all these tips/reminders today! I really hope you find them helpful! 💖
The best tip was just start at 1:27. I have been searching which is the best for me etc but that advice made me think just start. And i also have a suggestion about a series. You should pick some countries like india(im an indian so if you do use this pls do india first) , mexico, australia etc and review the best and cheapest brand of that country this will increase your sub from overall world and help us too.
Yesterday I tried out guache paint for the first time. I tried to paint a pretty simple scenery of a path in the forest (the true clichée image haha) and it turned out like.. okayish? it wasn't too bad, but I noticed at a few points that this medium is still very new to me and I don't know yet how to use the colour to create the effects that i wanted. I thought, okay, it's fine, it's your first piece with this medium. A classic practice project. And then, today my bf came over to my place, saw the painting and asked straight away if he could take it because it would look awesome on his bookshelf. :D So, what I wanted to say, even if you think you could do better or a painting didn't turn out the way you wanted, maybe someone else likes it. Have faith in yourself, you can do it! *continues learning how to use guache properly * :D
I feel like quiting in my passion. I feel so down, i feel like there's no improvement to my art. But when i watched this video, this lift me up! This is so motivating! Thank u for saving me from giving up! God bless you!

These advices are really good!! My artists friends gave up on watercolors cause they were afraid to take time and experiment with the medium. And also saw a lot of beautiful artworks made with watercolors and couldn't do the same. I'm happy that I didn't give up and tried a lot. Now I feel more confident and I like watercolors the most!! c:
