    Here in Northern California every single house I’ve been under has had a crawlspace only maneuverable on your stomach 😂. I’ve only ever seen two houses with a crawlspace that you can kneel or bend down in.

    In Oklahoma the water table is too high for basements they will flood and erode but many people will cut holes in their garage concrete for a tornado shelter that lasts 10-20 years before water rusts it out and it needs to be replaced.

      This didn't exactly cover the question/the video is kind of incomplete.
      ALL of these foundations look to be made of concrete,either pored or blocks.
      If someone that didn't know about foundations chose this video, to understand all of this, they would still come away from this video, not knowing much.
      Do any foundations have rebar in them, what about screw piles/ helical piers/push piers,which type of foundation is stronger and why, none of this was covered.

    I have a small, wooded, level lot in very sandy central Florida. If you dig it's endless sand. I'd like to partially clear it, compact it and drop in a bunch of #57 in the form of a driveway to a clearing patch in the middle. But not just compact enough to drive over, but also a base for an eventual foundation for small/lightweight metal frame single story offgrid house. Is this possible and are their specific requirements I need to meet in Florida?

    Hi Dave, I inherited a house in Florida with crowl space about 2 feet high. The crowl space does not have access because it is closed with bricks in a way that the air circulates, is there a possibility that my floor is made of concrete slab ?. I feel that it is a solid floor when walking or jumping inside the house.
    I have only seen in youtube videos with wooden crawling space and I have read that the wooden crawling space cannot be ventilated

    Which is a good foundation for a "tiny house" over 1,000 square feet? And how to I take the wheels off after home is delivered and who do I pay to put on top?

    • @justryan2070
      @justryan2070 3 года назад +2

      1000sq ft is not a tiny home, this guy is talking about foundation not prefab homes on wheels and you need to do some research on your own instead of asking questions irrelevant to this type of video.

    why on earth is your explanation of foundations based around whether or not you can get under the house? that is the least important aspect of the differences in foundation types?
