Bruce, we have to take care of number 1, and family! Glad your safe, glad you have a new direction coming. Looking forward to your next chapter. You have always come across as genuine and sincere in your comments. For that I appreciate your videos. Be safe.
Do what makes you happy. Interestingly directly behind you at the end of the video there was a really odd shaped tree and beyond that there is an almost perfect reflection of the grey building on far side of the water. That would be a cool painting.
I always enjoy your updates and videos. Changing jobs is a big event, so no worries about any perceived lack of content. Glad to hear you are back, loved the other camping video!
Hey Bruce, I just discovered your channel last week. I have enjoyed your paintings and your videos. I have worked in watercolor and acrylics doing plein air and work from my reference photos. I love architecture and landscapes, so I am thrilled to have found you. Being real is great, love your work and your videos! Keep up the good work!
just came out of my hibernation as well, it's october 19th ..no shows ,no sales, so l started painting small canvases for Christmas. Something to do that l enjoy and have missed. It's a trying time for everyone and l pray you'll find that special place you want to be in with your art and the channel..❤️️😷🇨🇦 cheers
Yeah Bruce, I love watching you vlog and just be urself its the real deal. I think its good not to stress and just have fun and love creating because we are blessed to be artists🙏🎨
I like these ideas and your thoughts. You should enjoy doing the videos too. I just watched ' A day in the park' - where you were going from one park to another looking for a place to paint. That's content that I can relate to (who can't) and it read very honestly and authentic. I really enjoyed it.
It's VERY important to me to be honest and authentic.....being an artist is a tough gig. I'm just trying to create an environment of interaction with my viewers. I'm glad the video resonated with you.
I was just thinking about you the other day and was wondering how things were going for you. Glad to see you are hanging in there with all this Covid mess. Looking forward to seeing where you go with the channel.
I dunno - paint what you love and share that whole experience with us. I actually love to watch people paint on location and enjoy knowing a bit about the location and what you love about it, what catches your eye. I paint what I love and am so honored when other people love it through my work. I sell on FASO and Daily Paintworks and donate to the Nature Conservancy from each sale. I’ve stopped chasing fame and trophies and strive to express what I love better with each painting. I think you are a really GOOD artist and deserve better recognition but competing is a real crap shoot. Love your channel too.
Hi Elisabeth - Very appreciated comments! I like that you contribute some proceeds to the nature outfit...great idea. I've had some baby bird issues here at the house and some local hole in the wall refuge helped me out. I've thought of doing an art fundraiser to help places that no one knows about...harder for them to find money. I've stopped chasing fame, etc. also. I just want my paintings to improve...that's the REAL goal. Take care -
This channel is rapidly becomming one of my fav oil painting channels, i dont watch vlogs normally but i quite enjoy the vlog parts aswell as the paintings, I dont know if you have done this already or maybe does not appeal to you but would be interesting to hear your opinions on art, maybe on different artists who inspired you, how you got into art, some background info would be quite interesting, not sure why but i could listen to you talk for ages lol. You seem like a very chilled out guy.
Hi - Wow!! Thanks for the compliments! I have done a video awhile back that covered some of my favorite art books, but I can definitely see doing another video on topics you describe. Thanks for being a fan of my channel.
Big RESPECT Man, thanks for your share...I owe my channel this same kind of video. Even your thoughts on ANYTHING that you present on your channel comes from the mind of a true artist- share your thoughts on ANYthing, it will be be well received.
Hey Bruce Sheila Gilbert her been wondering where you were . I also have been experiencing lack of display opposition. But I am at framermakers September to November so check it out if you get the chance. You have been miss .

Hi Sheila! Thanks for watching. I'll stop by the shop and check out your paintings.
Just go live only that cuts all the scripts and editing out. Free style if you will...just a thought
