Wow it's so nice to see some serious kettle bell strength training routines that don't require me to do handstands or backflips for once
😂😂😂
@@jtm_fitgo for alternating cleans
I was thinking something like that. Just a workout, not a spectacle or a "look Ma, no hands" performance.
Where are you guys seeing content like that? I've never seen that at all.
So I was a pretty often in the gym till I kinda got bored of doing the same stuff, same routine (from ages 21-29) so I ended up slacking off and stopped going… ended up going back after about a year break, got huge again but then got bored(plus family + kids now). Now I’m 31 and long story short,I’ve purposely quit my gym membership since August and it’s now about seven months later straight with kettlebells, and I’m so mad I never started using them earlier. They are so fucking fun once you get the hang of them. I might have lost some mass but it’s the first time in years, that I have a clearly defined six pack WITH the extra muscles. It’s the perfect blend of weight lifting combined with movement in way less time.
@@photonigarcia yes I feel a lot better, after watching this guy and @everygotdamndre (he also does a lot with kettlebells) I fell lighter but still strong, my stabiliser muscles feel stronger, and I’m definitely more flexible.
Trying some of this, I quickly realized this guy is as jacked as he is cuz of this workout alone.
😂
Good to see u talking about 2-3 min rest.
That is a gob of weight!!!!!! Holy smokes!!!!!!! Much respect!!!!❤
Yo the hike power cleans, added to the list 👍
Great explosive exercise✅✅✅
Nice routine, and great short video, worth saving and replaying instead of writing down and trying to remember movement names! Thanks!
Let’s go!💪🏻
Those cleans. Smooth as hell 💪
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Man they look smooth
Damn man thanks for showing me a great workout I can do with my kettle bells I couldn’t think of anything but front squats
Get to it!💪🏻
KB front squads are WAY harder than barbel ones.
@@jeromegovaerts9697 idk about that 1
Really? Kettlebells are one of the most versatile weights that exist. You can look up and find plenty of movements to do.
Nice that you describe each move names etc helps !
Great complex. Might incorporate this today.
I'll get started right away... but first I'll subscribe ❤
kettlebells requires many benefits that barblls and dumbbells cannot. they target many muscle groups and increases strength, endurance, and flexibility for compound movements.
they improve power output for increased lean muscle mass and work on building the base for more explosive movements. and also enhances mind-muscle connection faster than dumbbells or any other piece of gym equipment.
Thanks for the info mate
So barbells or dumbbells don't offer any of those benefits 🤔
Nice must try this great work
Great work ❤❤❤
nice and clean man!
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Killer set 💯
❤. Thank you for posting.
I too have a strength complex. Been getting help for it though 😅
No messing around. 30 second vid. My man.
I still can't decide whether to buy dumbells or kettlebells, this looks awesome though
I think dumbbells are great for isolating muscle groups. Kettlebells are good for compound movements
I'd go kettlebells if I only had one to choose.
Awesome
💯💯💯
Isn't it a waste of time to deadlift the same weight that you can shoulder press. I don't know about you guys, but my deadlift is a lot stronger, so it wouldn't challenge my legs or lower back at all.
I think about this all the time with bells and the main reason I don’t use them for lower body training. That’s the issue with so many of these complexes (and sadly most kettlebell work) is that it doesn’t allow for true progressive overload.
I want to start using kettlebells. Beginner, 57 years old. What size weights should I start with?
That’s a difficult question to answer. Everyone’s strength levels are different. I’d say anywhere from 15-25 pounds to start of you’re a female and 25-35 pounds if you’re a male
Solid Bro
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Love these
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
How often should I do this workout? 3 times a week or what do you recommend?
I personally don’t think about workouts like this. Just picking one workout and doing multiple times a week. But if that’s what you’re looking to do, you could do it 2-3 times a week💪🏻
Bro is getting juiced for GI Joe.
How heavy you use bud? I'm new to kettlebell. Please LMK. I'm 200 lbs male outta shape. Used to be 180 semi built. Not a stranger to lifting. Just been years. Thanks.
2 x 32 kg
Did you achieve your whole physique just from kettlebell training?
probably not. its hard to get chest with kettle bells. i could be wrong maybe he does lots of pushups
I feel like that a lot of time between sets but you look grate man so what do I know 😂
The rest you take between sets is up to you. Listen to your body and what it needs. You could probably take shorter rests between sets 1 and 2, and longer rests between 3 4 and 5
What weight do you recommend for all around good weight?
Start light, I started with a 16kg, Then picked up a 12kg and found it more suitable for my strength, then bought 20s, Then 8s.
I'd be interested in this guys answer though?
Hi..I need suggestions. I am new to KBs and I plan to purchase, focusing on building core strength while losing fat and building lean mass. I am 44M, 98kgs and targeting 70kgs. I do lift little weights at home through dumbbells and curl bar. I plan to do KB swings, deadlifts, shoulder presses and goblet squats mainly. Kindly suggest.
Incredible information dude this really helps condense exercises which will build strength and power I have one little point to add if you don’t mind I believe if your training strength you need 3-5 mins rest in-between sets absolutely incredible vid though adding these exercises into my kettlebell routine
Should i do one workout every day or do i rest one day between workouts? I mean kettelbell-workouts, can i do them everyday or should i rest like a bodybilding style thing...?
I need bigger bells
Stick with lighter ones until you can do 10+ reps. Then go up just a few more pounds
How much is the weight of the kettlebell?
Fuck yeah brother
Do you use same weight or ramp up? Go to failure?
Sweet form, great complex. How heavy are those bad boys dude?
These are 32kg each ✅
Cool
In what weight range do you recommend an average person should be using?
Find a weight that is challenging and allows you to maintain good technique. That can be wildly different from one person to the next ✅
2-3min a little long
How heavy are those?
Two minute rest period seems like a lot of time
I get it now😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥
how many kilos are those?
🔥
epic
How many lbs/kg these kettlebell are?
the red bar on the handles indicates that each bell is 32 kg.
Are those 70 pound rogues?
is it just me or when my feet are parallel aligned to each other , my knees will not be facing outwards like this ? is that normal?
You're suppoșed to have your knees engaged. Imagine you are tearing two sheets of paper towels apart with your feet. That makes your knees turn out a bit. If you have those muscles engaged actively like that, yes, it's natural.
👍👍👍
How many Kg does the Kettlebell have?
70 lbs each
@@jtm_fit approximately 32 kg 💪🏻Thanks for the fast answer 🤙🏻
32kg ? BS
I have the same in rogue they are 70's
Can I do this with one kettlebell?
Yes, just alternate sides. 2 reps on one side, then switch. Or do the full complex on one side (all 5 lifts), then switch.
@@steadfasttinsoldier5228 preciate it bro
Decent
I like kettlebells more than dumbbells because you can work on single body parts with them.
You built all that with kettlebells? This looks fun... Regular bodybuilding routines look monotonous...
I think you’ve only seen bad routines. because bodybuilding doesn’t have a performance element you can build the muscle however you want. anywhere from bodyweight, weighted calisthenics, barbells, dumbbells and machines. If the work is hard and the muscle is working you’ll grow. Kettlebells are great but they become a gimmick and no one has built an entire physique with them to my knowledge at least.
@@claybowman1242 Ah... thanks for this insight... I'll steal a few tricks from you though. I like the variety of muscles activated by a single rep!
@@claybowman1242you must follow the principle of progressive overload with the movements kettlebells are weights that you can increase over time which in turn will build muscle if you know how to apply them.
You can build a great physique with only kettlebells@@claybowman1242
Do you use 40kg for each?
Those are 32s
What brand shorts are those ?
ASRV
What's the best weight to use for beginners?
The heaviest you can lift *with good form and no pain*
From experience, 4kg less than what you can do with a single kettlebell.
I can clean and snatch a 20kg with perfect form with singles, so I go down to 16 kg for double kettlebell work.
I started with 25 lbs double kettlebells a year ago and now I use 44 lbs. If you already have some muscle 35 lbs is a nice starting point.
Curious. what does one do during the 2-3 min breaks ? Any other exercise during the rest or is one actually supposed to sit and rest ?
If you can workout during those 2min rest then you weren't pushing hard enough
The rest is designed to be rest. You really shouldn’t be doing much during those periods ✅
What is the total weight of both kettlebell you are using
142 pounds ✅
What brand?@@jtm_fit
Doesn't look like a sumo dl to me, looks more like a sligthly wider conventional.
Weight of kettlebell?
The red bar on the handle indicates that each bell is 32 kg.
His weight is irrelevant. Whatever you can manage.
The weight is irrelevant. Whatever you can manage.
Mit den Kettlebell macht man sich das Handgelenk kaputt.
Jg2? More like goat2
Naw, no rest! Keep it going!
Why not do the hardest exercises first? Those sumos are probably nothing with that weight, but they might be a little more challenging after everything else.
Conversely, you could probably use heavier bells on the upper body movements if you did them first, which would make the leg exercises that much harder.
Because the grass is quite green and the wind was blowing just right.
Calf😢😢😢😢
I do swing, swing, swing ...
Gae
The routine looks great but it's never a good idea to lift heavy weights in bare feet. It isn't functional and broken bones need weeks to heal. If you need to lift a weight in your normal life, you're unlikely to be barefoot at the time, so it's not functional
You’re only doing this to get in shape. What the hell does what you’re saying matter? Bunch of bored whiny useless comments
Those weren't sumo deadlines
Feet facing out, distanced apart, knees out= sumo
I tore my labrum swinging kettlebells that were too heavy. Don’t lift too heavy.
How heavy that you use?
@@barasantoso1846 44lbs each. I sprained my ligaments doing a two arm clean from the front rack position.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This literally will do nothing for you
Neither will fantasizing over Mike O’Hearn but doing nothing yourself 😂
@@Faronator I’ve literally worked out with Mike 4 times😂
@@YaOkay69
1. No you haven’t
2. And even if you did - Kinda creepy that you’d work out with someone then make their picture YOUR profile picture.
@@Faronator okay
Why not combine those movements into an single movement with an explosive jump inbetween reps, all your doing is substituting weights and not using the full benifits of the kettle bells
Yes it is substituting weights.. good job genius
Are those 70 pound rogues?
They are 71’s from REP Fitness
@@jtm_fitWow! Just recently ordered myself one 2 pood from onnit, the gorilla one. Been working with single 50 lbs one for a few months. Very impressive that you are swinging that much weight and make it seem effortless!
