I really love this look. Such an easy way to stay polished and professional throughout the day. Extra added bonus... not hauling around my entire makeup collection!
"The only time i'd ever love all the brushes in a range was if i had my own range of brushes." GREAT idea Lisa. :D i'm serious though, if u were to release your own kit i bet people would buy it, I certainly would! I trust your judgement on this kind of stuff LOL
I looooooooove this! I wish I could find a makeup artist like you. Most of the ones I’ve worked with here in the states don’t seem to understand this aesthetic, though I try to communicate it best I can. Less is more, and it’s all in the application ❤️👏🏻Beautiful job!
I've never been able to find a foundation that didn't just sit on top of my skin and look absolutely terrible, so all I ever wear is concealer and powder. I'll have to check out these new foundations!
Hi Lisa, love the look and the video. I wanted to some advice on some good eye liners and eye primers for oily eyelids. The only ones that work are Urban Decay 24/7 pencils, but I am not a fan of most of the colors. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks for your time and hard work :)
Hello Lisa!I'm natural blond pale russian girl wirh a light green - grey eyes. My lashes r pale and my eyebrowns r pale. And It's hard for me to experiment with make up looks. And usually all make up looks are for brunettes with dark eye color. And all that looks usually matches them well. but it doesn't work for me. Also shape of my face is big like Angelina's Jolie. I have big forhead, big nose and full lips. My cheeks bone r high too. Please suggest me what to do with all that!! Help, help! x
Hi Lisa. Could you recommend more full coverage foundations please? I have purchased vichy dermablend & have been using for 6months+. I would like to try something different. Thanks :) xx
Hi lisa, I'm really into makeup and want to do work experience. Would you please be able to give me some guidance as to where abouts to go/ what direction to go in?x
i don't really understand how you can only use foundation in certain areas. to be honest, my skin isn't all that bad, but I also have pigmentation around my chin/mouth. I really just want to put product in those problem areas and leave the rest of my skin bare, but I just can always see the mismatch of color because no foundation ever really suits my skintone completely, but i was under the impression that foundation never really can suit you perfectly.
When I read in Lisa's description of the film that all the profits derived from it are donated to charity, I thought "wow, this is a woman who truly cares about others", not only does she shares her wisdom with us, but also generously shares a part of her labor with the needy. You should be cloned, Lisa! The world needs more people like you. Thank you for caring so much. All the best to you.
Hi lisa, what do you think about red blush? In winter time I use little bit of red blush, little bit of red lipstick and black mascara, I call it "Snow White look". Could you do a video about something like that? I am sure your version will be so much better:))
I'm re-watching this and your comment about the brushes got to me. You should launch your own line of make up brushes. I would certainly give them a try!
I recently started using the Shiseido Refining Foundation and its very good. I havent tried in hot weather yet but it looks good on the skin, minimising pores and shine x
I love blush! It's my most favourite product. I would only exchange those brands for cruelty free brands. So for any ladies out there, the similar shade of blush has Italian cruelty free brand Neve cosmetic, Rose garden blush in shade Saturday Rose. It's cream to powder and it's excellent ❤ I promise ✋
I love this lady! I have been all over the internet trying to find that natural makeup.. most natural i found was not natural at all. With all the contour and highlighting 😂 still look fake when i tried them on. She just look young and fun with minimum makeup on
@Rebeka532 depends what the job is really. When I do celebrities for the first time I will chat through things with them before I start but not so much throughout the make-up x
@Bowiegirl75 I personally dont use them for applying foundation on faces unless i have to bronze someone with a 'gel type' product as i find that kind of texture blends better with a sponge x
@marien1234 I made a video a while back all about my skincare routine. Have a look as I mention some of the products I use to prevent and treat spots X
@TheGingerella88 the main thing is not getting any UVA rays on the marks as this makes them darker and prolongs the fading process..... so a light daily block is essential really X
Sounds like you need a really great concealer that you can use after applying your foundation. Have you seen my acne covering video? Have a look at that. Good cover up I'd recommend are Vichy Dermblend (use the foundation as a concealer). Keromask (more shade choices than Vichy) and Mac Pro long wear concealer. finding the right shade is the difficult bit. Try them in daylight and take a little empty pot to put some in to try before buying if possible X
@tstlkevanilla thats because it covered the pigmentation I have around my chin and nose area. I always lighten this area up with foundation to match the rest of my face and neck first. X
@BerryFlap an opaque concealer like the Vichy Dermablend foundation or Laura Mercier's secret camo used sparingly should do the job. Apply with a brush to pigmentation x
@Vasconvolta12 yes, because of the way cream blushers are made these days, most of them are cream to powder formulations, very much oil free and long lasting X
@GlitteringGold143 well done for protecting your facial skin so well. You could either use a tinted moisturiser to match your face up to your body or something like an oil free wash off sheer bronzing gel x
Hi Lisa, I'm loving your videos. Could you do a look based on ethical products like, Dr. Hauscka, Lavera, Liz Earle, UNE etc... also I have really thin eyebrows, so tips for fixing them would be amazing. Thanks x
Hi Lisa, after watching this particular video I purchased some of the vital brights bream blush, I love it and use it almost every day! I can't seem to get it anymore as I think it was a limited edition for No.7? Do you know how/where I can get some more or a suitable alternative in roughly the same colour please? Thank you :)
Thank you Lisa!!! This is another trick we share (making use of redness on the cheeks instead of completely concealing it). It certainly uplifts the person sitting in your chair when seeing how they can use redness to their advantage.
I love it to much this outlook so natural but looks so stunning very quick and simple for ordinary day. Tq for sharing Lisa. If you have more on like this simplicity please up lode the clips I really love it thanks.
Lisa, you are my guru, you are. You're inspiring me, so classy and elegant. I wonder where did you get your lovely green rings from? And also - I noticed that you never put anything on your eyelids, no primer, not even a bit of foundation - is there a reason for that? I think with this pinky look your orangey colouration (if that's even a word, lol ;) ) on your lids go against pinky cheeks and lips, I think a bit of concealer or matt nude eyeshadow would do the trick, or am I wrong? Love you Xx
I just LOVE your videos! Thank you so much for making them! Love your voice (important to me, sorry I am a singer ;)), love everything you say because it´s so down to earth, realistic (when it comes to looks), practical. Thank you!
I get those marks too, but since I have some freckles they kinda look fine, depending on where I get the blemish. The ones on my chin look awful for weeks, and I use suncreen DAILY. I hate them :c
Mari Beth: I believe her accent is from London. There are many people who speak with a British accent, but are from different areas of London. England has quite a few different dialects just as we have in the US.
I feel so lucky to be able to learn from the one and only Lisa Eldridge. It occurred to me the other day that learning about makeup from Lisa was like learning how to sing from Beyonce. And she's sharing her knowledge and expertise for free to anyone in the world that is interested. I want to thank you, Lisa, whole heartedly. From your biggest fan in Korea. :)
can you please do an Asian inspired look? I really love the way Koreans and Japanese people apply their makeup , It would be great if you show us how to apply that on Caucasian people
Hi Lisa! I just found your channel and I'm a new subscriber. Would you be interested in trying Korean make-up products like Face Shop, Nature Republic, Etude, Saem, and etc.? :)
I just love how effortlessly you do these amazing looks!!! I could watch you for hours (in a non-creepy way!). Thanks so much for sharing you knowledge with us Lisa. You are amazing.
Looking at some of your older videos... again :-) Still so informativ. So a question comes: are there techniques or things you changed in how you do (normal) makeup over the years?
This is my makeup most of the time, pretty much minimalist. Concealer, either some foundation or face powder, brow pencil, some eyeliner on top lid & a lip stain from blotting off any lipstick💁🏻♀️⏱
When I watch makeup videos. It makes me wanna do my makeup. But than I realize its 10 at night and I have no where to go. Lol outside my front or back yard??? Maybe lol
Spool pretty! I'm always a little bit jealous when I see people put on blusher. I am such a runny complexion that if I had it flush it would look like I was on fire! I like your tip I'm not covering up the areas that shouldn't be right on your cheeks and allowing your natural rosina's to come out and then perhaps adding a little bit of a sheer Shimmer on top.
I love how this is a decade old but still as beautiful and timeless as ever.
I really love this look. Such an easy way to stay polished and professional throughout the day. Extra added bonus... not hauling around my entire makeup collection!

Lisa, loving this video, its the kind you do that feels like we are having a good old girly chat over makeup! Love the look XXXX
You SHOULD have your own range of brushes!! Id get them all.
the elf studio blush in the bright pink is quite similar to the one you used :)
love it! as always! Thank you for your time!
I love this - so relatable!
I've never been able to find a foundation that didn't just sit on top of my skin and look absolutely terrible, so all I ever wear is concealer and powder. I'll have to check out these new foundations!
Kabuki brushes are excellent for applying makeup.
You are brilliant Lisa! Thank you so much :) xxo

what about for someone with strong combination skin, acne prone, acne scars, redness basically rubbish skin?! help :(
@pinkpiggy888 check lisa's acne video she did 1 year+ ago, it's amazing!
When I read in Lisa's description of the film that all the profits derived from it are donated to charity, I thought "wow, this is a woman who truly cares about others", not only does she shares her wisdom with us, but also generously shares a part of her labor with the needy. your voice is so relaxing.
Hi lisa, what do you think about red blush? In winter time I use little bit of red blush, little bit of red lipstick and black mascara, I call it "Snow White look". Could you do a video about something like that? I am sure your version will be so much better:))
I imagined doing the same thing throughout winter! It seems it would be so pretty, I hope she can do one!
Nino Bolkvadze you just gave me inspiration!!! thank you!!!
It's bc of you I now absolutely love red blush. What you described is now my every day look.
I really happy my videos have helped you, so nice to hear. Thanks X
I'm re-watching this and your comment about the brushes got to me. You should launch your own line of make up brushes. I would certainly give them a try!
Funeral Giggle I am a girl at heart!
Love to be beautiful!
Funeral Giggle
I plan to do a redness tutorial soon when I find a good red faced model! X
I recently started using the Shiseido Refining Foundation and its very good. I havent tried in hot weather yet but it looks good on the skin, minimising pores and shine x
By far the most beautiful look you've done. It's almost ethereal.
If you created a line of brushes, I'd buy them all! You're an absolute icon, Lisa.
She has one foundation brush now, but it’s extremely expensive. It’s surely a good investment though :)
I love blush! It's my most favourite product. I would only exchange those brands for cruelty free brands. I love your videos so much!!! U are the best in youtube, so natural, so chic, looks great in every skintone or complexion. Hugs from Mexico!
That looks so good on her.
Omg that bag !!! it's so chic !!!
I love your rings!! They are beautiful to look at in all your videos! Also love your work!!
hello can you show something for darker skin for day wear as well. thank you
Every look you make is so beautiful! I'm re-watching your videos! It's like a gold mine!
@Rebeka532 depends what the job is really. When I do celebrities for the first time I will chat through things with them before I start but not so much throughout the make-up x
This look is so natural and beautiful! I really love it! Your videos are awesome, I am learning so much
@sophia17172000 should'nt be ... try adjusting your screen if you are on a laptop etc.... screen angle makes a huge difference. Hope that works x
I love this look, just really fresh and pretty!
@lgough90 really? Try a different formula like a creme to powder or try using a foundation brush to blend x
This is very pretty but i feel like the blush is a little too much
+Girl Boy I totally agree with you. I think for a day time look it should be a bit less.
Lisa has said she likes her blusher to pop.
PennyLane I agree with her to an extent, but some times she can go a bit overboard in the blusher department. I love her though.
@lixingyun1986 aw thanks, I'm hoping to go to Shanghai soon for some shoots....cant wait, so exciting! x
Wow she looks exactly like bella from twilight
@bellabambi45 thank you. Yes I always protect my skin and look after it as well as I possibly can X
Im sorry but the blush is a bit too strong. Other than that, very excellent natural makeup
+Budgie That's just like, your opinion, man. Seriously, Lisa is an icon and there's no "incorrect" amount of blush. It's subjective.
+Budgie She never said it was natural make up look. And also, the blush is quite subtle.
well the look is called 'rosy flush'...hellooo...the cheeks are supposed to be the main star here...it's pinker than usual, but it looks pretty imo.
@1jungle1203 watch my 'first steps to making it in make-up' video. Hope it helps x
@LaFondaBHH no stupid at all, I meant either really both would work X
@sobazaar i didnt use any eyeshadow in this look so not necessary x
@gabsan77 bright pinks look great on olive skin x
@gabsan77 bright pinks look great on olive skin x
@jijiisawesome yes its quite similar x
I always go for an easy makeup look, I am watching it in 2021
@Bowiegirl75 I personally dont use them for applying foundation on faces unless i have to bronze someone with a 'gel type' product as i find that kind of texture blends better with a sponge x
@marien1234 I made a video a while back all about my skincare routine. Have a look as I mention some of the products I use to prevent and treat spots X

@tstlkevanilla thats because it covered the pigmentation I have around my chin and nose area. I always lighten this area up with foundation to match the rest of my face and neck first. X
@RamblesMakeUp I have done that already .... its in the playlist of 'My Cover Looks' and is called warm day make-up (or something like that) X
10yrs and still this is my go to natural makeup tutorial.. im just watching here reminiscing my 10yrs younger self 😭😊
@GlitteringGold143 well done for protecting your facial skin so well. You could either use a tinted moisturiser to match your face up to your body or something like an oil free wash off sheer bronzing gel x
@2300hours coming soon :) x
@yaelitka I never use foundation or powder on lids ... its my pet hate! I do use primer though sometimes, I like the NARS one X
@tribelle thanks! To be included in the same sentence as Beyonce ... just wow lol! So sweet of you X
@welldressed91 yes i have, its really good. I like a lot of the MB products. I used to go for facials there when I lived in NY many years ago X
@Wasarella I dont think I've tried that but I have used their 'experience' one which was very good x
@caspercue light/medium but buildable so you can add more in the areas where more coverage is needed x
@holidayslov no, as long as you are removing it properly at the end of the day and applying it with clean sponges/brushes its absolutely fine X
Like if you want Lisa Eldridge's Brush Line!! :)
@763maj All my celebrity clients love it because it feels so nice on the skin! x
@teachnmakeup thats great to hear thanks for letting me know x
Hi Lisa, I'm loving your videos. Could you do a look based on ethical products like, Dr. Hauscka, Lavera, Liz Earle, UNE etc... also I have really thin eyebrows, so tips for fixing them would be amazing. Thanks x

Your videos are great! You look gorgeous and I love the way you speak :)
I think this is my absolute favorite.
I just LOVE your videos! Thank you so much for making them!
