No, the engine runs by heat. There is no regenerator installed between the two piston. it is a water pump to run water circulation around the cooler body to cool off the hot air before reach to the cylinder head to create suction. As you know hot air expand and cold air shink....
Wow. Nice. Seems like either you got this bad boy perfectly balanced and/or that is one heavy base! Give the spokes on the flywheel each a quarter-twist to turn it into a fan and put some cooling fins on the hot water pipe and it would be _PERFECT!_ Nice job...
Been looking for years. This is top shelf! Blessed by genius, I opine.
excellent machine and engineering work sir, thanks for the video, THUMBS UP

Nice work .😊
Very good your engine Stirling. Have you installed a regenerator between the two pistons?
Greetings from Brazil,
Leandro.
the piston that I used for cylinder head is graphite. Graphite is light weight and self lubrican. Dimension is 0.4995" dia X 0.600 long

Did you buy this stirling engine or did you built it yourself? I am trying to build the same thing, thanks!
Greetings from Philadelphia
I built this while I was in school for machine tech.
Love it.
