For the first time on RUclips, a detailed master class for creating a creepy Halloween decor. With the help of the infinity effect, we managed to achieve a terrible picture of the hands of the dead. The zombie apocalypse began in this ancient box. The walking dead look with envy!!!
Hello friends!!! Our channel is at the very beginning of development, your support is very important to us, the best way to support us is to share the video on any network or show it to your friends, this is very important for us, thank you!!!

We know by the desperate promotion in every comment lol
Stop with the kickstarter spam on comments. It has already made me and a lot of other people not subscribe. Not only does it ignore the comment someone posted, but it also slaps them in the face saying you dont care and just want money
The only thing I have to desire of this piece is a second layer of hands to really sell the illusion, but well done regardless.

@@DashingAxe that's not at all what he was talking about.
@@arcticafrostbite617 They’ve been replying this to every comment and not even thanking anyone :( it kinda put me off from subbing
How could yo manage to fit another layer? There’s no space left.
@@PuggleStudiosOG 10:25 there was space at the bottom they added supports to lift the mirror off the bottom. inside there is still space under that support. I thought they were going to put 1 mirror and 2 one sided mirrors and hide the hands under the middle mirror so it just looks like the chest is endlessly deep but when you turn the light on the hands suddenly apart inside the endless chest. would love to see that.
End product looks amazing, but it hurt my soul to see that antique lid get split like that.
Antiques aren't appreciated any more
@@cherylsmith4826 Very true. Still, it wasn't as bad as certain "restoration" channels out on RUclips that go out filming nature and "just happen" across some electronic device, or guitar, and "restore" it.
Yeah, it would have been so much better to keep the original lid and just make a new false lid on the inside and then have a preassure sensor to turn on the LEDs when you open it and maybe even activate a smoke machine that pours out smoke under the chest or inside it for some effect.
@@Dragonited That sound ten times better. The delayed reveal insted of just walking up and seeing the spooky hole is much better.
While true, by the looks of it the entire thing would have been scrapped. And you can’t deny that this is a better outcome than that.
This would be SO cool as a door!!! Videos of what you guys use and how it works would be epic too. I have a haunt every year at my house and I would Love to implement your techniques!! Incredible work!

Reminds me of the "Helping Hands" from Labyrinth (1986).
i saw the thumbnail and that's exactly why i clicked haha, one of my favorite movies ever
YES I love that movie
So my grandma, a full blood Eastern Shoshone Native, told me about an experience where she died on an operating table after giving birth to my mom. She was pronounced dead for close to 10 min. The Drs had even cleared the room and began notifying family. She said she remembers everything went black and then felt like she was falling, as she was falling she felt hand grabbing her and they began ripping her apart. She couldn't see anything but she said it felt so real and she just remembers saying the Lord's prayer then all the sudden sitting up on the table covered in a sheet. This build immediately reminded me of this experience.
Imagine the scare the doctors mustve had seeing a "corpse" just sit up still draped in a sheet, god bless her

What’s even scarier is now put a mirror at the bottom so it looks like it goes on forever
Oh this hurt me. Chests like that were usually made in woodshop classes in the 50’s and 60’s. The end result is awesome.
But the fact that some kid probably made this (against his will) at school hurt me.
This is totally reminding of the Helping Hands from the Labyrinth and I live for it! Awesome job! :3
Thought the same when I saw the thumbnail!
*“She chose down!!”*
That’s awesome, reminds me of the pit of hands from the Labyrinth
This reminds me of the labyrinth movie scene with the talking hands

That would make a badass coffee table. As long as people use coasters.

@@ЮлияЦивинская-с9в oh ok
Yep. You win. Creepy AF. It would make a great door. And when you hit the doorbell the lights turn on.
This is now my plan for my future coffee table
Kind of mad they did that to antique dovetailed chests, even if they weren't very valuable. The effect was cool, though.
took a beautiful antique and destroyed it. they could of used pallet wood if he was just making a box.
Wasn't so happy seeing such a lovely trunk being used but the end result wasn't bad. If you could place a couple motorised hands here and there it would have raised the bar.
Thanks for watching! Glad you like it. Have you seen our other crazy projects?
@@axes_garage yes, very talented
Watching this hurts so much... you know how much old trunks like that sell for? 2k-12k.. this is one expensive project.
All I can think of seeing this, is the Shaft of hands from Labyrinth, you know helping hands.
I love how it starts with an old chest

That poor trunk had a dreadful story to tell, but it got the make over of it's life! Well done!
Most likely a civil war ammo trunk
This is awesome. I have always loved this kind of stuff. I wish I had the talent to create art this good. Great job.
As much as I would love to have something like this as Halloween decor, I couldn't imagine trying to justify the waste of space. Really wish that under the hands had been made into accessable storage space. (Also, maybe make an "appropriate" cover for the other seasons.)
You could make a removable cover piece, and I agree with the storage drawer underneath. But I'd keep it year-round as-is, assuming the glass was sturdy enough. Would look awesome in my open living room in front of my gargoyle flanked fireplace.
its not a waste if you have room for it, and enjoy it the way it is. but i sorta agree, more utility is alwasy a plus
Great job. I was gonna give you a hand, but then I realized that ship sailed months ago.
8:54 - It's Thing's family reunion! :)
Honestly I’m here for the box, carpentry makes me feel the happy chemicals and the new lid makes it look kinda like it could be a coffee table thing and the top layer with the hands could be one of those sand things under the glass lid and then under that the side could be cut to put in a drawer or two for magazine storage
With the video edited and sped up to be less than 14 minutes you don't really truly appreciate the amount of work and time that goes into this type of project excellent work
Oh the humanity .... not an antique chest 😵💫😭 Great illusion however 💯
It's like that hand pit from labyrinth
Nghe xong bài này cái thấy tâm trạng buồn và nặng nề kinh khủng. Nhưng lại cứ phải replay hoài cả ngày😍
I immediately thought LABYRINTH!
Helping hands lol
Nice! watching this a bit late, but a bit of clear nail polish on nails of the hands would have made it another step to creepy and real :D

You know, there are people that like to go the extra mile doing stuff. My guy literally went to another solar system for this
Great work! Is the top surface usable? Like as a table top? I don't like being able to see the light source so maybe use something like a thin opaque plastic to diffuse the light so you can't see the led lights themselves. Also I would have liked to see a bit of basic detail work on the hands so the skin and nails looked even more realistic. Just my opinion. I'd like to try that hand mold myself that was very cool! Great job, fantastic creepy/Halloween idea, and I love to see things being refurbished and given a new life as well!

There's a scene from grave encounters where these huge hands came out of the walls. Just like this.
This is a piece of Art!
Fantastic! ♥️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎃
Unsure why you took a well-aged wooden box, cleaned it up, then stained it to make it look old again?
Exactly this. Would have been better to just install the stuff as is. I died when he started ripping it apart and sanding it.
Perhaps to remove mold and mildew?
I don’t know about creepy! But honestly the level of creativity and execution you guys did with this is amazing! I truly appreciate watching your work. what a precarious way to mold. Glad it worked =)
Cool. Brings to mind the Helping Hands in the movie Labyrinth. :)
As creepy as this is and a great effect … I really see it as an art piece
Something along the lines of
“The ghosts of our father’s sins” or “we are our own slaves” or something philosophical
It’s very powerful

I'd rate this a 9.25, a solid 10 would be if the wrist and fingers could move.
To be clear, I'm not criticizing, I'm just saying.
Great use of reflective and translucent surfaces. This is something I learned about when I had my big aquarium . Nice job!
This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen made on utube so wish I could afford to buy one
I wouldn't have destroyed an antique chest but, it is cool.
man I love that brushed wood
I have a coffin sitting in my living room I bought off Facebook I’m really tempted to try this with 😍
Infinity hands! Very creepy. Good work!
It's not even close to October... all the more time to practice

Wow, love the hands. Excellent work. I didn’t know body double didn’t need a mother mold, great tip! The only thing for me is that the chest looked spookier exactly the way you found it, dilapidated and crusty naturally
Some good ideas there but also some badly executed (see what I did there) ones.
Also I can't get past the absolute destruction of that lid to this antique chest.
You could have easily done all that and had a lid. Very easily making a prop stand for it to be open and show what you did. Especially considering your only using like 8 inches of space at most and the rest is dead (did it again) storage.
wow pretty amazing, would have added a few more hands in the middle so didnt look so uniformed, maybe the odd one or two hands moving !!!! way hey !!!! 🙂
Imagine a circular table where the mass of body parts opens up into a ghoulish face.
Not sure how expensive/heavy/simply time consuming adding some more fingers and maybe a rib or an intestine here or there would be. Along with stains and signs of rot.
Do you think you could have an object illuminated on the ceiling and through perspective make it look like it's down inside of the tunnel because of the reflection.
This was just rad! Such a morbidly fascinating table you created! Good on you sir!

Pretty spoopy.
If you have a 3d printer you could also print a bunch of creepy hands that way.
i kinda expected Halloween music to go with this, not granpa on guitar.
Well done that’s fantastic and creepy
It looks awesome but would have been great if you havent removed the cover so if somebody dares to open sound and light switches on.
Yeah in-between everything els I have to do ..why don't I knock up this extremely complicated Halloween/movie set piece..diy I don't think so
Wonder if a speaker hooked to an iPod inside the box playing screams of horror would work.
Most likely this was a civil war ammo/shell trunk that had for sure seen better days. Great looking end result.
If you add a few servo motors and connected the hands randomly moving just a little twisting it would have turned it into something really special but it is awesome now but could have used movement
Thats alot of handy work.
Anybody else getting serious Labyrinth vibes from this?
I love seeing what people do with these infinity mirror tricks. Shame that the repeating images are sort of obvious unless the reflected image is some mundane pattern like brickwork.
1:52 I hope those nails didn't mess up the surface planer too bad.
the last thing yoshikage kira ever saw
this is a pretty good idea for a coffee table!
Make it into a tv display for awsome movement hire online vx artists for scary effects. Or make some at least move in the table just make the bottom of the table a infinity mirror with 4 vibrating motors in the table to shake the table then and a minni smoke machine or fog to rush out of small holes carved into the table .so here would be the sequence the table top would be blacked out ,then the table would shake violently then the fog would rush out then the interior minni strobe light would flash erratic then the interior lights would activate showing the moving hands grabbing to everything but only in the tabletop. Goodluck
Awsome great job 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍😉
