Same, I’ve seen people trying to hype up the fights in the Garden of Eyes “overhaul” while I can’t even fucking tell what’s happening cuz they’re just spamming so many effects that it makes my eyes bleed
@@draw2death421I personally enjoy converge mod more than reforged, but I will say that it can be pretty over the top at times. Overall, both are solid mods made by talented teams, unlike garden of eyes which hides his terrible mod behind a paywall.
honestly, what aggravates me to no end is that GoE decided it was a good idea to paywall a mod to begin with. why would i bother paying to play his mod when i can just go for another mod like Convergence or reforged.
Is his name also within the naming of the other known crucible knights? Also did he even had any diferent attack or was he just a shieldless swird one? Would had been cool if he was using a colossal variant of the crucible swords at least IMO.
@@unkindled6410 He uses both the sword and spear variants of Wings of the Crucible, and uses all the base game crucible incantations (Normaly, only spear knights can use the Horns, and Breath is unique to Tanith’s knight)
Man… I really love that over the shoulder sheathe on your back. Why can’t games think to do this? The claymore in the 2nd fight with dog boss. It’s so simple but so aesthetically pleasing. Also you’re really good bro lol
I love measures used in this mod to replace some of the more questionable repeatead bosses. Even just having the unique variant of the same repeated boss is refreshing. Here is hoping that they replace Godefroy, the most embarrassing repeated boss in souls history.
I always thought Godefroy is nothing more than joke by the devs, first the Godefroy is a joke name not a real name a play on Godfrey, and he has no significance whatsoever to the lore or story. Plus he looks exactly like Godrick. I don't know I thought it was obvious that the devs were poking fun at themselves for the repeated world bosses.
The opening really surprised me and sucked me right in. Great sense of humour. Loved how you made the tree sentinel work on foot, and also happy you added another at Dectus. Always felt one belonged there. And love the use of the stray demon from DS3! Looks like a good mod, will check it out.
I love how much more engaging they make the crucible knight fight become by simply removing the shield and make them more aggresive (that and mixing moveset of both varient). I always hated the garbage time of waiting for the guarding sword cruible knight to do something.
I'm so glad this mod has bosses are are somewhat simple and fit in with the established visuals instead of being super extra like the Convergence bosses.
But Reforged still kept it consistent: all CK names come from geological periods. Ordovis > Ordovician Siluria > Silurian Devonia > Devonian Rhyacis > Rhyacian Hirnan > Hirnantian
@@MudkipMan97 Rhyacian I totally missed, but Hirnantian is just a stage, and that’s where the bloodhound knight names come from (Darriwilian, Floian) so it’s kind of a whiff 🤓. My og comment exaggerated though.
Fun fact, all the Lion enemies have horns sprouting from their nape. It's just that they're always ground off. Either as some sort of punishment or as battle damage! Check the models next time you fight them, it's a really cool detail that gets easily missed due to their flippy moveset! I think the reason Azash gets to keep them is that he was such a good boy no one at Redmane castle wanted to de-horn him.
@@JudgeNicodemus Wasn’t questioning the normal models having horns, was questioning that Radahn would be prideful of an omen horned lion. He idolised Godfrey and Serosh he wouldn’t parade something TGO saw as abomination.
These are some REALLY cool boss fights! I like how many of them have arena themed attacks that cover large area's, I feel like that's something I almost never see in boss mods!

Fellthorn Spirit HAS to get madness abilities it would sell that boss so well I already love the odk move set it would just make it feel more like an ER boss if it had madness incants and afflictions
Well, if you try to skip Stormveil Castle, on the way to Liurnia there is dismounted "Fallen Cavalry" boss fight, but I decided to not add him to the video 😁
Fulminating runebear interesting idea considering the theory about runebears dragonizing, feel like the lightning ought to be red though? cool idea none the less.
I like how Azash was made entirely with content recycled from the game itself which creates a super unique fight despite it just being the same lion enemy. And the best From Soft could come up with was copying and pasting the 900th Misbegotten warrior
I love how natural they feel in the game and environment. Awesome job with that! I just hope this is like the sneakiest of peeks and that they'll be way more challenging that what is being showcased, cause most seem pretty chill and straightforward to fight...

These bosses are nice, although they do kind of pale in comparison to Convergence's. I'd love to see both convergence bosses and these ones tho in a total package mode one day despite that. While convergence has more visually impressive and unique bosses, this one has more variations of already well liked designs that can make a new playthrough pretty fun!
Fun Fact: There is a theory that the Runebears are actually descendants of the dragons. Why? Well, they have the dragon communion eye effect that the player can get. So if somebody wants to create a bunch of Runebear field bosses with the same elements as the named dragons, I would encourage you to do so.
I really wish all of these had been in the base game, they're so well made and fit into the rest of the game seamlessly. Tbh the ones that are replacing bosses are way more interesting and original than their vanilla counterparts
Haven't played this mod yet but it looks like the boss move sets are better than in convergence. I found most of the new bosses to just be spammy. Still really good. But very much spam spam spam

Hi 👋🏻 My favourite is Buckler Parry - it’s unique AoW which is only on Bandit’s class starting buckler. Also you can buy it from Gostoc. Buckler parry is not the best by frames to parry, and not the worst 😃 if you search the best tool for parrying - surely it’s Golden Parry 👌🏻

It’s huge overhaul. There are few major changes, new combat mechanics like "Sekiro deflect" for example and A LOT of minor changes. There are even special difficulties 😃 check other videos on this mod I made so far, and new ones will be uploaded 👌🏻

Basically less overused bosses(Tree spirit/npc boss) and more underused bosses(Lion/Fire chief/Nox/Alabaster)!

They really dropped the ball with Hirnan’s name. The Crucible Knights have a consistent name theme.
But Reforged still kept it consistent: all CK names come from geological periods.

definitly is, look at the overhead slam and fake posture break
I would say 80% is Dragonslayer Armor moveset, he has new projectile attack and new follow up’s in P2 + counterattack if you hit the shield.

The DS3 influence is very notable, with tree sentinel literaly being dragonslayer armour and the fellthorn spirit looks like a young old demon king

The third boss, the grave sentinel, is the armor possessed by the butterfly from dark souls 3. with holy damage instead of electricity

This is new Zweihander moveset in Reforged mod. Originally its BKGA moveset from DS 3
