DIMASH -The show must go on (Queen), Helo (Lionel Richie)......
Dimash enrolled in music college at 5 yrs old. His vocal cords have received intense training for 20 yrs. He holds master's degrees in many different types of music. He is considered to be the best vocalist in the world and a master performer. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known singer. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity. He is a very humble and shy man. He stands at 6 ft. 3 1/2" tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was 22 yrs old at the time of this performance. His first album went platinum in 47 seconds.

Hello! This was part of a 14 week competition called the singer 2017. This is the eighth or ninth time that Dimash sings, by now no one is surprised anymore! The people in the rooms are the other contestants, and by now they know that they are not going to win! Dimash ended up getting second place, even if everyone believes it deserved first, because this was in China, and it was not possible to give first place to a non-Chinese person. He did win second place. But this competition made him known world wide through RUclips and Weibo. The end it was a major wins for him.

That's the fun of watching I am Singer 2017 and the expressions of the professional singers watching DIMASH and can not believe what they are hearing. I remember how shocked I was over 5 years ago hearing him for the first time, could not believe what i was hearing either. DIMASH the ONE and ONLY; no other like him ever before and not likely again ever.
In this same competition he sings Queen’s “The Show Must Go On”. He also sings a Queen’s medley with the Super Vocal Boys and “Hello” by Lionel Richie.

While Diva Dance from Bastau is short... it is so worth it. You can do it along with oh, maybe his version of The Show Will Go On. Now, the only thing you have to remember if you do The Show Must Go On is he was just learning English so yes, he does not get all of the words right but the performance otherwise will stun you. He also did a killer cover of Lionel Richie's, Hello, just one year later and he has worked very hard on his English which we refer to as Dinglish since he still says a few things off. Still, who cares because he works so hard to improve. He also kills My Heart Will Go On, from Titanic.
React on his duet with a Chinese opera singer "The drunken concubine + The diva dance". It's unique!! Dimash is a king and starts his part on a golden throne. And the Chinese opera male singer is a concubine. They are talking through the song and sing The Diva dance together!
This Chinese opera singer is very popular in China and specializes in singing female parts.

He gets that very low note that you mentioned in every other performance of The Diva Dance so he can definitely do it. The Bastau version is excellent with a beautiful run in the middle, and the duet with Li Yugang (two songs interwoven) is seriously impressive and very enjoyable. He has done a couple of other versions of The Diva Dance too and every single time he does it differently. He likes playing with it, he likes surprising us. And he does, every time 😂😂😂🤯

He does lots of different styles so just look on his channel. But do find Queen Medley with Super Vocal Boys. There you will hear some unbelievable rock screams. It is SO good. 4 classically trained singers doing unbelievably beautiful harmonies to Freddy Mercury songs. Fabulous.

In another performance of Diva Dance done in later years Dimash DID start down low and ran UP the scale just as you wanted. The performance you played was the FIRST performance he did of Diva Dance but he improved in much later concerts.

Many singers (male or female) have tried. Nobody sings this song as perfectly as Dimash. He is the only person in the world who sings this song flawlessly. He reaches the highs as well as the lows effortlessly and he delivers all riffs and runs and staccati accurately.
When Dimash fell on his back and lay down at the end of the song, a worried viewer called out: Get an ambulance!
In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old) and the first non-Chinese. Foreign participants were actually forbidden until then. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RUclips ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).
If your blown away with this then you need to have your mind totally blown away by watching the best version and 2nd best, this is 3rd in my opinion and a lot of Dears, plz react to no 1, diva dance live at bastau 2nd drunken concubine + diva dance, it’s only a little longer than this one but so much better. All those backstage are in the competition. They were also amazed by Dimash and were very supportive and looked after him. Olimpico ogni pietra was written for Dimash, he is the only singer in the world that can sing this song it also has a very positive message in the words, it’s also an amazing song, a fantastic beat that’s steadily builds throughout the song to a fantastic end

There are 2 other versions of the Diva Dance, that Dimash did. The 2017 Bastau concert and one on another Chinese show in early 2020 with another singer Li Yugang. Both fun to watch.
He has done Queen songs. First, is The Show Must Go On, on the Singer show. And a Queen medley with the Super Vocal Boys and another medley from the Shine Super Brothers Season 2.
So you can do a combined reaction to the other two great Dimash Diva Dance versions. One is at the Bastau concert where he does the actual 11-note bar that was digitalized in the movie. The other is a duet with Li YuGang, a Chinese singer of traditional Beijing opera, where they sing a combination of Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance… with a SURPRISE thrown in….!!!
I thought you were going to do a double reaction with his version of Diva Dance from the Bastau concert which is considerably better than this one. This one was a throw away, just got fun. No matter that it's a shorter video you will probably want to play it twice as many do.
This was a full step lower than the original and the one at the concert is only a half step lower than the original and it's longer and more accurate than this one as well. Please react to that one for us.

The ones in the soffa hade alredy sing and waited for the outhers to sing. The guyes with the faces you talked about is the rockband "Lions"! Thay are great friends with Dimash after this also the singer in the band have been singing with him and another contestent "Tia Ray" after this show. The man in the suite and glases behind the scen was waiting to sing after Dimash and his name is "Terry Lin"! he came in the show in episode 5 and in ep 9 Dimash saide to everyone that he was his dad!! Thats the biggest respect someone from Kazakhstan can give another man. They are that close know to. They sing in eatchouter conserts to. Many have saide that Dimash looked like him when he steppt out on stage for the first time! They kinda do and Terry was 51 in this video! Moore down low about some outher things to!
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon!

Episode 10 : 'Unforgettable Day' In Kazakh and I think some translation in Chinese to. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

He didn’t win the competion they say its because he wasn’t Chinese. But I don’t know if that’s right or not! They change the rules next year. But he got the most out of it and was most known after this. Got lots of awards and other things to. So he won the audience and the Chinese people.

The singer 2018 gala "Hello"- Lionel Richie Wait to the end to hear something fun and different! The sybyzgy is a Kazakh sideblown flute traditionally played by shepherds and horse herders, made from apricot wood or the wood of mountain bushes. Length 600-650 mm. The sybyzgy sound scale is estimated from 4 - 6 holes.

His other performance is way better especially for the low notes, but it is over so fast. And the fall adds a lot. He's performed "Sthow Must Go On" by Queen in this same competition. And he was in a Queen Medley a couple of years later with The Super Vocal Boys on this show, when he was a guest, not a competitor.

A romance language is a language that has its roots in Latin (ROME) It has nothing to do with the word romance as we know it.
This version of the Diva Dance is not his best. You really should watch Diva Dance at Bastau, it's unreal.
You don't have to apologize when you don't like something, as everyone can like things that other people don't. That being said, be careful with translations from lyrics. It happened to me that I disliked one song for quite a while just because I had read a bad translation and now it's my top 2 favorite songs by that band (BTW, the song is Zeit by Rammstein, the full package: an amazing video, song, music lyrics and message) As italians say: traduttore, tradittore (the translator is a traitor).

The Bastau Concert Dive Dance is much better then this one....It is stronger & he has filled it out more. Plus it's more like the original. Could you not react to this one even though it's short? Quando você diz que ele perdeu a "subida" das cordas vocais é pq você, por um erro de decisão, escolheu ouvir/assistir a uma apresentação mais longa. Infelizmente essa apresentação ele cantou "mal" essa música. Nada como ouvir ele cantando na verdadeira versão de 1m 45sec. Abraços do Brasil!

Sorry Darren, there are some points you have got wrong. I try to clarify them here. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and so are his parents, grandparents etc. This time his father was in the audience (10:52; three men, the one in the middle, Kanat Aitbayev). The show is called I Am a Singer (The Singer/Singer) and it's a high profile competition for professional, well established Chinese singers. Dimash was given a "wild card" against the rules and it was thought that he would stay for a couple of episodes (14 altogether) and then go home. He was 22 years old in 2017, known in Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and thereabouts, but completely unknown in China.
Dimash performed the first song for the season, the legendary SOS from a French-Canadian scifi-rockopera, one of the most difficult songs in French. The performance shocked everybody and Dimash became a megastar overnight in China. The performances of the whole competition were released in RUclips and could so be seen also in the west.
People on couches are other contestants and their managers (they were very supporting to each other and became friends), the audience consists of 500 people with musical background and they are the judges.
