I was in Düsseldorf on April. Believe it or not, this song was around the first 10 of a 3 hour show and 23 songs in total. He sang, danced, taught the audience how to sing in three voices and run from one side of the stage to the other like if he had 5 lungs. Unbelievable and unforgettable show for me. I traveled from New Jersey to Germany at my age, 74, like if I were a teenager. I will do it again and can’t wait for him to come to the States. Next concert is in Kazakhstan on September 23. Let's make one thing clear: Dimash is not only good in this or that field, in this or that aspect of singing, Dimash is the sound field, Dimash is a totality. This is no longer about just octaves(7 and 3 semitones), whistling registers (as you will hear) or even more than a simple, huge, vocal technique, Dimash has a universal voice.To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a stem cell. In this sense it is a "mother voice". From this cell any type of fabric can be generated, what are commonly called musical genres. Its transitions are such that the transition no longer exists. This song Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) was composed especially for Dimash by Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, showcasing both his incredible range and his powerful, classically trained voice. It premiered at the opening of the 2nd European Games on June 21, 2019 in Minsk, Belarus. More than 3,500 athletes from 50 countries competed in 200 medal events in 15 sports (23 disciplines) and for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics slots, thus the name Olimpico. It is a song of power and perseverance. It calls us to action, to dig deep and give our best, to embrace life with passion, and to triumph over our limitations.

I couldn't agree more, Dear friend! When I first stumbled across Dimash 3 years ago, my second thought - the first one obviously being HOW?!!😆 - was, why the AF am I only hearing about this guy now? Why didn't anybody TELL me? And more to the point, how is he not a household name already, the world-famous superstar he so obviously deserves to be, when the sh*t being served up on a daily basis by other so-called "singers" (ha!) without a smidge of actual talent to their names, is almost guaranteed to sell in its multi-multi-millions?! [takes deep calming breath] But anyways...
As mentioned, it's been 3 years now since I first came across THE best singer in the world - and it all began with a click, on a reaction video just like your own! So thank you, and please, keep doing what you do - because you never know, you too might be responsible for turning someone's entire musical world of English language-only mainstream pop/rock/alt, completely on its head! I really like how you explain things. "His voice just washes you"; his voice is like a "continuous stream"... flowing perfectly, without any flaws. Exactly! I can't fully describe what Dimash's voice makes me feel, how much I enjoy it. It's not exaggerated to say, his voice is so beautiful it hurts. "I have known Bel Canto since I was born. Let's make one thing clear: Dimash is not only good in this or that field, in this or that aspect of singing, Dimash is the sound field, Dimash is a totality. This is no longer about just octaves(7 and 3 semitones), whistling registers (as you will hear) or even more than a simple, huge, vocal technique, Dimash has a universal voice.To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a stem cell. In this sense it is a "mother voice". From this cell any type of fabric can be generated, what are commonly called musical genres. Its transitions are such that the transition no longer exists. Dimash does not sing the different genres (opera, pop, rock, also rap, jazz, crossover, etc...). Dimash already has, from the beginning, all genres. In his case, musical genres are nothing more than a coloratura, an inflection, a declension of your general voice. The same applies, of course, to all your voice recordings. This description is so over the top & filled w/ Hyperbole it's utterly insane - but it's the ONLY way to describe this guy w/ Words..... He truly defies explanation but that analysis was perfect b/c when I watch this kid it feels the same as watching a great white shark just being a great white shark or a Tiger being a Tiger - it's so overwhelming & so rare to the senses to simply absorb one of nature's perfect creations that you are awestruck just by it's presence
