Doesn't matter how many slams you won, it matters agianst who and how. Djokovic had the luxury of facing Feder and Nadal towards the end of their careers for most of his slam winners. Djokovic had the luxury of facing Feder and Nadal towards the end of their careers for most of his slam winners. He didn't have any other decent opponents.
Had Sinner and Alcaraz emerged just a couple years earlier Djokovic wouldn't be able to reach even 20 GS.

Yeah and he is not playing for 2-3 years now. Djokovic was simply VEEEERY lucky in the last 4-5 years to win without strong competition.

I just hope that Federer fans and some Nadal fans since then had time to go from denial to acceptance and can now find some peace.
But I don't know if 4-5 years is enough... They were so toxic and vicious and hateful for so long... It might take them another decade or so.
