I really don't understand everyone makes a such a big deal out of changing plugs. You don't need any special tool. All you need is a spark plug socket and two 3 inch extensions.

Great job looking into the plugs... NGK is a nice brand anyway so I don't know what dodge would have done any better.

Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Can you please post the link to the swivel socket? Thanks 😊

Torque plugs to 13 ft lb. 15 ft lb max. Don’t go over 15 ft lb.

I think OEM plugs are the standard NGK change every 30k service manual

Have you had any issues with running iridiums? What did it come with from the factory? coppers or nickles.

The factory plug is NGK iridium.

@stuntcardriver thank you for the response, that's good info to know bk so many are saying copper and or nickle plugs. I assume that's the early generation hemis. I have a 2018 1500 5.7 and a 2017 2500 6.4 that are due soon, so looking forward to doing plugs on both lol.

I know. My neighbor just bought spark plugs and coils from a "Big Box" automotive store. Cost $495.00. Next he will take to a mechanic and have parts changed. I'm guessing another $300-400 charge. I found plugs and coils (NGK) on amazon for under $200 total, and will do the work myself.
