Hi, can you suggest me wich is the best laptop for video editing and multimedia. I want it for professional usage. important thing for me is also the lifespan of the laptop and the battery. Thank you. :)
@Lim Reviews: The only thing holding me back from getting the HP ZBook Studio G9 is the fact that it has a 1920x1200 resolution 16:10 and I will be running it to my Samsung super ultra widescreen LC49RG9 which has a resolution of 5120x1440 res 32:9 Do you think this will still work well (and look great?) (For context I’m doing music production and an upgrading from the 2017 HP Spectre 4k res connecting to the monitor with a thunderbolt to display port adapter)
It is very interesting when buying used because the Fire Fly has a U series processor but you can go back a gen or two and get a H (high power) intel cpu in like a Studio G7 which will beat the G9 firefly and can also come with much faster GPUs like a RTX 3000 series and might even cost less (less portable sure but totally worth the extra power)! People looking used be sure to do research :p
I'm kind of hesitant whether to purchase this laptop or the alienware m17 r4 for video editing and working on animation softwares . which one of these laptops does the job better?
If i'm not mistaken, the newer Firefly G10 AMD without dedicated GPU, only has single heatpipe cooler. So the comfy power limit for CPU+GPU is 20W at best.
My brother has the Studio G8 and he got it for rm7300. He looks quite happy with it and he's using it mainly for editing wedding photos. Quite a steep price diff between G8 and G9 but the Studios are good.
Every model of the Hp Zbook G9 studio comes with RGB keyboard? Even the ones with normal GPU like for example RTX A1000 not like the high end 3070s? Also, what is the battery life on the hp zbook g9 studio, the high end GPU ones and the lower end ones as well?
Zbook G5 X360 offered 15 -17 hrs to run on single charge. On reality working only on google chrome it lasts 2.5 - 3hrs max ! This is the problem with all these heavy duty HP laptops !
Apart from it's design, the performance, screen and price of the Asus proart studiobook 12900h 3080ti really caught my attention, just like this zbook studio 12900hk and the ThinkPad P1 gen5, sadly I ended up buying the m1max 16 and it turns out it's not much of an upgrade from an m2air beacuse at the end of the day it's a Mac os device and Mac os just suuucks.
Well to be fair ZBooks were traditionally workstations for professional use, and isn't exactly targeted at the MacBook user demographic - the entire line have always been more of a ThinkPad competitor.
I wish I bought a zbook studio 12900hk at Christmas sales instead of the m1max 16 which I ended up buying. Mac os just sucks as it's a closed environment and apart from c# development (which kinda sucks on silicon) gaming is a big no unless the only game you play is WoW.
Always appreciate a working laptop that also allows you to game on it. Great job HP.
Amazing!
How's the thermal performance on this one since it's a pretty thin machine...would you recommend this for VFX and 3D simulations on the go?

It depends on the GPU

I got this laptop yesterday but display ( windozs 11) is blurry. I tried many ways but could not resolve the issue. Is anybody else facing this issue?

Is this better than MacBook 16”?
Love hp
How about fan noise and passive cooling? Greetz from 🇨🇭

Have you tried rendering a 4K video on the firefly g9?
What were the results
can the zbook firefly g9 handle programming
can you post the wallpaper please
My zbook g9 is powerful, but has a terrible battery, and the keyboard took some getting used too.
I wait for my company to buy these and let me use 😁
Good idea hahah.
You wait long long time.
parts or ports?
THIS SEEMS A BEASTT
I'm simple terms, what's the difference between both
How does the HP studio compare against something like the xps line from dell?
ZBook Studio is way more powerful. XPS not even close.

ASUS Vivobook Pro 15x OLED K6501Z-MMA036WS is only priced at RM6.7K, but is a bloody good contender also

Hey, do you still have the Studio G9? I can't find data anywhere on GPU power limits!
What kinda data are you looking for exactly? Maybe I can try to help.
Surprisingly the price for firefly g9 is below my expectations, having another option for working laptop aww!
Should definitely check it out. It's very compact!
Good choice for professionals 👍🏻👍🏻
Your review is not complete. You did not mention size and weight.
Like you videos 😊
Zbook Studio G9 shud be a good replacement for MacBook, but it's abit costly ;(

Great alternative for people who are used to Windows.
Interesting accent!
the speaker on the zbook 14 are pretty trash compare to a m1 macbook 14"
🔥🔥🔥
Zbooks do NOT last more than 3 hours with simple browsing and excel working !
Agree!!!
I'm a student and all of sudden rm16k?💀
Hahah curious but what laptop do you use though
Hello
wah so expensive
better just buy Macbook la
Wait 12.12 😁
Good idea!
came here to see how large the power supply was. pretty disappointed. disliked.
Looks Ugly for a premium laptop. from the inside they just copied the macbook pro 2016 deisgn and made it ugly not to seem a complete copy
NOVA 10 PRO PLS
Fuh 16k 😮
Putin Book.
Be prepared for faulty hardware or case cracks in the next 5 months 😉
My Studio G7 is nearly 2 years old and no hardware issues. Also the case is aluminium and pretty much impossible to get cracks because of that lol...
@@Kazz7420 Glad to hear from an actual user. Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Regarding z-symbolism and Ruscism Z-logo. Do you want to follow the path of IBM during their collaboration with the Nazis?
