The crazy thing he's only like 23ish and hitting those notes... his voice is only going to get deeper! Even though there was production, the notes still have to be there... I think I read he sang from like F0 (inhaling note) to F6 with a throat-whistle tone. Tracy Z got the info about an hour ago, but yes, indeed, it's from Hunchback... Frollo is a priest in the original play and Tomi took the more priest/monk perspective as far as costume... and ruined any other version of this song for me now! Cheers!
More terrifying than his chest voice getting deeper with age: he's gonna get better at extended bass registers, especially second, third,... subharmonics. By the time he's Geoff's age, he's gonna turn into an actual dragon and eat us all 😄

The song is from Disney’s “Hunchback of Notre Dame” and is sung by the character of Judge Frollo about Esmerelda the gypsy. Tomi P. has an amazing range and recently collaborated with 4 other bass singers to do 4 covers of Billie Eilish songs. They call themselves the Bass Gang and the covers are “Therefore I Am”, “Copycat”, “My Boy”, and “Bury a Friend”. You should react to all of them. They are incredible. Thanks for your reaction
Tomi P. is totally underrated ! He is a "monster" . His range ( low and sub notes are just insane ) is wild . His arrangements are outstanding . Check out hil last one , " My mother told me"...and feel free to go crazy .

8:35 he hits an F0 (yes, F zero) In ingressive phonation, and F6 in whistle voice all at once. That’s his full range in a few seconds of recording, truly amazing
@@Guest.7289 the C0 is non-melodic fry, but he does have a C#0 melodic inhale. If you can do those things you can already go into negative octaves with non-melodic inhale, so he can do it, but it isn't countable.
That deepness in the back was an amazing F0 with inhale note which mixed with an amazing F6 at the same moment and made this perfect harmony in the end.

I'm glad someone requested a reaction to the amazing Tomi P. He is so underrated and deserves a lot more attention. His Hellfire cover is awesome. The only part I don't like is at 8:30 in your video where his voice was shifted up and immediately down again probably using Autotune or something like that. I don't know why they did that. It was not necessary.
You are incorrect sir. It was just layered vocals that had that effect but it was high flageloet notes in backround. They sound thin and are stacked. Thats why it has that "autotune" effect. Of course there is some correction on voice but no autotune! God bless!

I read that it was C0 to C6 but I could also be remembering wrong. But he will be a monster with his bass in his later years. That is for sure.
