    Montrose is great for retirees!The city council needs to encourage bigger businesses to come here so more younger professionals move here.

      Too bad Grand Junkyard doesn't follow your lead

    • @arieschick1
      @arieschick1 2 года назад +1

      Grand JuncYARD needs to follow your lead on rec center.
      Problem is the stretch of towns down hwy 50 from Grand JunkTown, Delta, Olathe, to Montrose are totally Blah Meh and otherwise boring. The energy in these towns is so backwards as to be dulling. They are not like their STAR neighbors Durango. Glenwood, even beautiful Gunnison. Montrose is basically a place to put up with on the way to Telluride, Durango, Crested Butte.

    • @jsun2934

      The comment was about the Rec center in Montrose not the town itaelf.Montrose is way nicer and has far less crime than Junction!

    What are the environmental accountability and assessments regarding this sudden development and industry? There are long-term consequences and I am wondering if that has been evaluated - or allowed to be evaluated....

      You shouldn't worry so much about the environment as you do the principles of free enterprise that made America great. There's too many eco-freaks around desert communities more concerned about the rattlesnake being harmed than they do about creating jobs for people to live by.

    • @AllysonJFlagg
      @AllysonJFlagg 3 года назад +3

      @@LAStreetPreacher As ecosystems fail, so do jobs. America is only as strong as her soil is healthy, air is clean, water is pure. We lose that, people die, jobs are gone, hope vanishes. In Oregon farmers are losing their generational ranches due to the FACT that the water is gone. All that "don't worry so much about the environment as you do the principles of free enterprise that made America "great"" has not paid off in the long run. Better to care for the snakes, than farmers who destroy their own livelihood including entire communities, states, and Nation.

      @@AllysonJFlagg Man shall not live by bread alone or from the environment but by every word of God. Do you put more value in reptiles like snakes than you do in man who was created in the image of God? If so then shame on you for your perverted sense of values. Many environmentalists are at war with God. Are you one of them?
      Sin is not in the environment but in man "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Matthew 15:19
      Sin is in man's thoughts and actions so your idea that "America is only as strong as her soil, air and water" is not true.
      Our strength must not be in the land or environment but in God who is our salvation for "salvation is of the LORD." Jonah 2:9
      Immorality is what is wrong with America. Transgressing God's laws and yes God has something to say about being good stewards of the land and what He has entrusted to us. Sinful men have destroyed the earth via chemtrails, pollution, theft of lake and river water and much more. Nestle corporation is guilty of the later according to one documentary I've watched. These criminal then bottle the water and sell it us with an astronomical mark up.

    My husband and I feel in love with Montrose when we were on a cross country trip and we were considering retiring there. I just looked up your hospital and it’s reviews and I’m shocked at how many very very poor reviews it has, extremely concerning! I’m a nurse and empathetic to the profession and realize you can’t make everyone happy but there is something seriously wrong there.
