    High fat doesn’t mean unhealthy. Avocado is healthy but is high fat low protein

    • @BonesToBulk
      @BonesToBulk  Год назад +30

      It doesn't but the fat is a bit different from avocado to peanut butter. Also it all depends on your goals. For cutting or weight loss, both avocados and peanut butter are extremely high in calories. Not a bad thing if you are trying to gain weight, but if you are trying to lose weight they typically aren't the best options.

      @@BonesToBulk Peanut butter contains protein and healthy fats, which may be beneficial for workouts. Adding toast provides essential carbohydrates for energy, while also providing dietary fiber. So, while not the most ideal pre-workout snack, peanut butter on toast is certainly not a bad choice.

    PB is great because it is one of the lowest glycemic foods. It digests very slow which helps control blood glucose. There's more to diet than how much protein and fat a food contains. There's ratios and how it effects you overall.

    • @southpawtx
      @southpawtx Год назад +80

      Glycemic content does matter. See how easy it is to say that? PB also contains tons of insoluble fiber which goes through the body undigested. Also peanut butter has no added oils or sugars. It's nothing but pure ground peanuts without added salt. You start adding those poisons to it and it then becomes another product. Call it what you want. Peanut butter spread is what I'd say. Dense calories will give you longer lasting energy. 1000 calories is nothing on my body. I workout regularly and walk daily. I eat PB and I'm at about 10 percent body fat. I'm 5'10" 210lbs and am 61 yo. Such a broad, ambiguous statement that PB is bad is misguiding. We are all built different and we all function individually.

An we know the people behind windows is a thief an a liar an conman even if you aren't a right winger questioning his countless other moves. Corporations aren't our friends. Specially in USA where they know the people there were hoarding the world's riches since they payed for the bombs to start plifering Germany an the world in the 1940s .they also know people in USA kinda intellectually lazy due to their riches being from bombs an not invention. So they scam them with some of the worst overpriced technology ; selling them the junky smartphones with less features. The government even colludes with them to sanction USA by banning better nations products being sold here. Same with their drugs war /hospital drug trade/vitamins etc. I even see China selling some crazy sea kelp stuff direct to usa now at "these people have far too much money somehow" prices.

    There’s a pretty big difference between a natural peanut butter (only peanuts in the ingredients) and a peanut butter with additives likes cane sugar, oils, etc. As you can see in the nutritional values shown in his can of peanut butter, there are many unnecessary ingredients, like cane sugar and unhealthy oils. So, a big part of the calories and carbs probably come from these unnecessary added ingredients. Moral of the story : Buy natural peanut butter over a pair with additives 👍

For the rest of the world; I have a v shape from a diet of pizza an mc donalds an things like peanut butter an honey an even ramen noodles. Just be carful if the heart starts hurting stop using 1/2 a lb of.bacon an 1/2 lb of sausage on every 12 inch pizza pie you make. 👍 Also if you travel at all or go climb mountains or traverse jungles; Peanut butter an honey fits in your backpacks/whatever you carry an stays for years (honey forever depending)

    I know you're getting dunked on for shitting on peanut butter. But the truth is, a lot of normies mistakenly believe that peanut butter is high in protein. And this isn't actually true. Peanut butter is perfectly fine to eat in moderation. But people should be aware that it is calorie dense and mostly a fat, not so much a protein. So its best to limit peanut butter intake on a cut. The best time to eat peanut butter is on a bulk. The second best time is maintenance.
