the solar cleaning academy is where he wants to make the quick buck. there is no such thing as a academy for cleaning solar panels.
    1. rinse the panels to soak the dirt and to remove the biggest dirt particles so you dont scratch the panels.
    2. use a brush that is pretty soft and best practice is that the brush also rinse the panels with water to directly get rid of the dirt. no need for cleaning products
    3. rinse again to remove the dirt
    4. let the panels dry and check if al the dirt is gone.
    5. work safe. in the netherlands it is requierd that above 2,5 meter/8feet you are using falll protection. in the case of solar panels, roof tiles can be or get slippery. or sand will make you slip.
of the 100 times you go up 99 times it will be fine but the one time that you arent fine yeah at best it will hurt
and now you have your certificate.
i like the way you inform people on the do's and dont's about starting and owning and maintainig a business. but lets be real the certificate and academy for cleaning solar panels is bs.
certificates for working safely on roof/heightss is a good thing maybe focus on that.
i am from the Netherlands and here it is required that above 8feet/2,5 meter your are using fall protection. i dont know the rules in the usa or any of the states specific rules but looking at your video's a lot needs to be bettered to insure you and your co-workers work safe.
offcourse most days it is all good. but that doesnt matter it is for that one time you or a employee slips/trips or a roof tile breaks ect then at best it only hurts.
at least give them a rope and a safety harnass. believe me that one time it is used to break the fall it was all worth it.
i know somethings with safety are pretty bs. i always trust myself more then anyone saying how to work or what is safe. i go on my own guts because at the end of anyday i want to get home cuddle my daughter give my wife a kiss and walk my dogs.
and we all do shit that isnt that safe. but when it is easy to do and pretty cheap. it is not worth the risk.
it is not that you cant or dont trust yourself. but you also have to trust on the guys that put the roof up and maintenance of the roof. one wrongly installed wood beam under the tiles and boom you are laying on your back hoping that your back hurts if not then you aint cleaning no solar panels anymore
